Most of the Whale-n were resting, with only a few awake either swishing their large orca tails while lying on their sides or sitting on the edge of a cliff waving to Moli. As Moli waved back, she suddenly asked while looking at the silhouette of her Mother ahead,
“Mother, I’ve been wanting to ask… what exactly is the Full Moon Period? Why does Lord Ramasitia always have to sleep during it? ‘Full Moon’ doesn’t seem like a term from the Ocean. I learned it from the humans; it seems to be related to the Moon, right?”
Xuan Can slowly stepped into the enormous palace made of Gold, extending a finger to point upward, towards the Sky,
“The Moon above the land isn’t just a simple Moon. This involves the Spirit Realm and a certain God that resides within it. That God is the enemy of all current Gods, despised and wished to be expelled from this world by all existing Gods… All you need to know is that during the Full Moon Period, That God’s power is at its strongest, and all Gods will be distracted by Him.”
“A God, like Lord Ramasitia?”
“Yes.”
Xuan Can, disinterestedly, sat on the golden throne at the end of the palace. Moli also sat down in front of her, watching Xuan Can lean slowly back into the chair, her blue hair resting quietly on her shoulders, then closing her eyes. After a pause, she quietly said,
“Moli, this will be the ten thousandth Full Moon Period. After this Full Moon Period, the world will beco dangerous.”
“Huh? Ten thousand Full Moon Periods… what does that an?”
Xuan Can slowly opened her eyes, looking at Moli seriously, warning her,
“Ten thousand Full Moon Periods is a deadline. After this ti, the clarion call for war will co. A thousand years ago, many Mythical Species were engulfed in a war; so were obliterated, others imprisoned, and in the end, it was the Humans who, with the favor of the Gods, achieved the final victory…”
“Over the centuries, Humans have taken over all the land they can see, attempting to extend their reach into the Ocean, committing acts of slaughter and desecration, comfortably reproducing generation after generation, yet they have forgotten how they won the war in ancient history… The Mother Goddess has been silent and unseen for far too long. Either She has lost hope in Humanity, or sothing else has captured Her attention. In any case, the Mother Goddess has abandoned the living creatures She once cared for.”
“In a few years, the end of days for Humans will co, and no one will escape.”
After hearing this, Moli pursed her lips, stood up anxiously, and said,
“I… I have to go ashore; I need to at least save Mr. Fischer. I can’t let him perish in this war.”
She knew her Mother was a powerful and wise person; she never misspoke, including when Moli volunteered to go ashore to find Aunt Mu Xi, she had warned her that she might be disappointed by Humans. Now, after returning, the curse upon her had spiraled out of control.
Xuan Can shook her head after hearing this, her voice still calm,
“The Fischer you care for is a good man, but are there no other good Humans? They will all die in this catastrophe, none will avoid it. How could that be possible? Fischer cared so much for those around him; how could he act like this? He would surely refuse to co back with her… But if that were the case, Mr. Fischer would most likely die…

Moli bit her lip, shaking her head sadly. For so reason, the thought of Mr. Fischer dying on shore made her incredibly sad, as if a sharp blade was carving out a piece of her heart,
“Mother… I really can’t stand by and let Mr. Fischer die in war. I know a war that even you would avoid must be terrifying… but you don’t understand, when I was lonely and helpless, when I was at a loss, it was Fischer who encouraged and helped .
