Chapter 663: 105. Elizabeth’s Fury (Two-in-One)_4
Valentina laughed dangerously, and her words were not pleasant to hear, obviously angered by Fisher’s excessive behavior just now. However, Fisher did gain sothing, at least he suddenly realized that his boss also possessed a sharp tongue.
Fisher sincerely showed an apologetic expression, realizing that his actions had indeed been inappropriate. He then turned his head and explained to her,
“That person is backed by soone who knows very well and is extrely intelligent. The ones you see are rely her puppets… She observes things ticulously, and to prevent her from gathering more lethal information from you, I had to resort to that plan; it was my oversight.”
Heidlin folded her arms and her face was filled with distrust, thinking this guy was exploiting the situation. Valentina, although sowhat skeptical as she looked at Fisher’s serious expression, could only choose to believe him, but the irritation in her heart showed no signs of abating. She rubbed the ring on her finger and shifted the topic by asking,
“So, who is that person hiding behind him? The person just now spoke in the Nali Language, I didn’t quite understand what he was called…”
“Ah, never mind, do not bother about it…”
Fisher smiled, looking in the direction where the Nali Agents had left. He knew the Lady of the Golden Palace must be furious again, but he sowhat nonchalantly said to Valentina,
“Just an old acquaintance who is especially familiar to .”
…
…
And the Nali Agents, having left the hotel, did not linger. Curion, leading them, only glanced back at the hotel before marching determinedly towards the end of Mia’s streets, listening to the sounds from Magic along the way.
Thousands of miles away, inside the Golden Palace, Elizabeth was slightly panting as she sat on a step in her room. Like a furious tiger not yet cald, she dangerously surveyed the ss in her workspace. The gold Flas, directly controlled by her, had not burned any of the objects, and only scattered books and shattered ceramics lay on the floor; even the heavy wooden desk had been split in two by her sword.
The Maid in the room imdiately began cleaning up in silence, which gradually soothed Elizabeth’s heart, still scorched by rage.
She knew full well that Fisher was deliberately provoking her, just to extricate that young Turand Family heiress from the traps Curion had set…
“Your Majesty, what should we do next?”
Elizabeth suddenly looked up, her hollow eyes seeing the distant scenes of Mia again, Curion’s cautious voice echoed once more. Clearly, Curion had almost succeeded earlier, but because of Elizabeth’s fury, obvious flaws were exposed, leading to the failure of the plan. As a subordinate, how could he dare point out the mistakes of Your Majesty? Even now, he cautiously sought Elizabeth’s guidance for the next steps.
Elizabeth looked at the vast, white expanse of the Northern Realm and then her lips coldly curled up slightly. She was still furious but no longer irrational, speaking to Curion,
“Go, find out why the Turand Family ca to Mia. That young girl is too young to be the main decision-maker of the Turand Family, she and Fisher are most likely collaborators now, which ans the protection from the Turand Family is limited. He will still need to move around performing tasks for them… I officially authorize you to use the relic ‘Curse Death Prison’ to bring Fisher back to Saint Nali. If that Turand Family girl tries to impede you, show no rcy.”
Curion’s pace slightly paused, and, relieved, he turned his head to look at the black briefcase carried by his comrade, answering with a relieved tone,
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
