Capítulo 685: 113.Snow Fox Species_2
“Your current status is as follows:”
“Reproduction Hunger: 87%. It’s really surprising, your sanity has allowed you to endure this long, truly admirable. But clearly, your body has reached its endurance limit. What will happen next, I really look forward to~”
“Chaotic Knowledge (Soul): 66%. The soul is the essence of oneself, and a soul led to truth by knowledge can enhance your ability in a very short ti, but it will also bring side effects that can’t be adapted by oneself.”
“Chaotic Knowledge (Creation): 3%. Cardinal and other such miraculous creations are part of creation, and creation represents the exploration outwards from oneself. It’s debatable whether this is fortunate or unfortunate, but you are far from understanding it.”
“Accumulated Madness: 37%. You have reached the door of madness and are continuing to deteriorate; your abilities will greatly increase, your thoughts will silently change, and the world will present a terrifying aspect in your eyes. It’s hard to say if it’s worth it, but you clearly have no regrets, and your humanity is still clear (laugh)~”
In the recent days, Fisher hadn’t forgotten to read the Cardinal Chip left to him by the Cardinal, but to his great disappointnt, it only contained the manufacturing thods of dozens of Cardinals, and the complex blueprints and theories gave Fisher, an outsider to chanical studies, a real headache.
Inside, there were no complicated theories, just direct thods for manufacturing Cardinals, but overall, you wouldn’t understand the principle of the Cardinals; you only need to follow the steps provided. No wonder when he asked the Cardinal, he knew nothing; he just needed to copy what was provided, alas, the conditions for manufacturing Cardinals were too harsh, requiring complex machinery and materials preparation before construction, Fisher felt it was of no help to him at all.
The only thing that could be considered a help might have been those handwritten symbols or text on the chip blueprint, but whether it was him or the Cardinal of Destiny, neither understood what was written, Fisher could barely recognize it, he just felt the symbols resembled the writing of Caleb Wuzi… It said,
“Михаил (Mikhail)”
Fisher believed that the word was a noun, either the word “Cardinal” translated using the real Cardinal’s script, or, it was the real na of the Cardinal.
…
“Emhardt stood by the window sill, squinting and giving Fisher, who had tidied himself up and thus looked more handso, a skeptical look.
While wiping his palms, Fisher shook his head. He didn’t answer Emhardt’s question but asked instead,
“Did Heidlin co over to notify us to go down?”
“Of course, a few minutes ago, I heard that Schwali guy nad Balzac already went down; I don’t know if the Lion-man is up yet, but you better hurry up, Heidlin said the Snow Fox Species will arrive soon.”
Fisher nodded, draped his suit jacket over himself, and then, putting on each of the magic rings and jewelry he had previously engraved, one by one. If there had been a mage as sensitive as Fisher present, you’d notice that Fisher was wearing a layer like armor, shimring with strange fluctuations of High Ring Magic.
What Emhardt said did have so rit; such a level of magic was clearly ant for war, easily reminiscent of the terrifying scene of Schwali and Nali using magic to bombard each other from a distance on the battlefield, but for Erwin, Fisher felt that dealing with him would be more difficult than winning a war between kingdoms.
As Emhardt watched Fisher keep adding magic to his apparel, he stuffed so other lower ring magic into a sack to distribute to other companions. Emhardt, finding Fisher’s strange cautiousness amusing, frowned and then suddenly looked out the window as if sensing sothing.
The road below was covered in snow, with several carriages pulled by strange creatures resembling both deer and horses slowly approaching the hotel. The carriages halted before the hotel, and then, under the welco of the Turand Family maids, several demi-humans clad in thick garnts and rather short in stature disembarked from the carriages.
These demi-humans had inverted triangular-shaped short ears on their heads, and their fluffy white tails were long and hung straight down from beneath their clothing to the snowy ground. Their height ranged from about 1.4 to 1.6 ters, with the leader just over 1.5 ters, looking sowhat miniaturized.
The leading demi-human, under the welco of the Turand Family maids, was preparing to walk toward the interior of the hotel. Just as he was about to move his feet, his nose twitched, and suddenly he looked up toward the upper floor, seemingly seeing through the window that soone was sizing them up. However, surprisingly, he only saw a square-shaped book up there.
“Did I see it wrong…”
The leading demi-human took down his hat and mask, revealing a fox-like head of fluffy fur, which, however, looked sowhat rough and had several snow-like white spots at his forehead and where the ears t the face, adding a hint of eeriness to the Snow Fox Species’s fox-like visage.
“Father, what is it?”
Behind him, a slightly shorter female also removed her mask and hat, revealing a similarly white, fox-like face. Her large aquamarine eyes were flanked by originally snow-like white fur, now turned pink, making her look quite cute.
However, the slightly older Snow Fox Species just glanced at the female Snow Fox behind him and sternly admonished her,
“Juna, outside you must call Clan Leader.”
The white Snow Fox nad “Juna” stuck out her tongue and switched a small bamboo basket from one hand to the other. The basket was covered with a piece of cloth she held, but a closer look would reveal several curious eyes peering out from beneath the cloth… or rather, sizing up the wheelchair-bound young lady who appeared at the entrance of the hotel.
“Miss Valentina Turand, please convey my most sincere respects to the Turand Family.”
Valentina rubbed the ring in her hand, then smiled and said,
“Allow also to express our family’s welco. Due to special circumstances, the mbers of the Turand Family cannot leave Snowflake Castle. Please understand, Clan Chief Dal.”
The Snow Fox Species’s Clan Chief Dal nodded and was just about to enter the hotel with Valentina when he suddenly sensed sothing, turned his head, and looked at Heidlin, who was smiling in the background. In Dal’s eyes, a faint deep purple aura was swirling around Heidlin, which he captured.
Although faint, Dal could discern that it represented the scent of “unwelconess.”
However, the next second, as Heidlin noticed that she was being observed, her smile instantly grew brighter, and that faint unwelcoming scent disappeared.
Seeing this, Valentina, puzzled, turned to Dal and asked,
“Is there a problem, Clan Chief Dal?”
Dal turned away, looking at the thick green scent coming from Valentina, which represented “friendliness, sincerity, and welco.” He shook his head, then said,
“Nothing, let’s go inside and have a good talk about the matter of the Seal.”
