Just as Valentina, the last Phoenix, revealed her presence that instant, Erwin suddenly felt a chill behind him. Without thinking, he knew the curse had already reached his back.
He instinctively tried to dodge the attack from the curse behind him, but even without intellect, a Mythical Rank was still a Mythical Rank, possessing a speed countless tis faster than Erwin, and within the instant uncatchable to the naked eye, Erwin’s entire body was swallowed whole by that curse.

But the next second, a crack suddenly exploded where Fisher stood on the base’s body, and Erwin, calm and adorned with so black feathers, drilled out from within the curse. Mid-air, the Death Rune spun wildly, and both saw the rotating Short Sword and moved at the sa ti.
However, Erwin moved towards the Death Rune, while Fisher moved towards Valentina.
