With that faint fragrance, Fisher’s consciousness continually sank, and in the boundless darkness, he seed to be having a familiar dream again.
In the dream, wrapped and torn by darkness, he endured excruciatingly, when a stream of clear, water-like moonlight suddenly filled his vision, dispelling all the darkness around him that dragged him down.
"Buzz buzz buzz!"
Gasping for breath, Fisher squinted his eyes, lifting his head slowly in unwarranted exhaustion. The first thing he saw was an extrely pure starry sky, countless stars twinkling with their unique brilliance. But the one thing he couldn’t look away from, as though a black hole with an irresistible gravitational pull, was the large white disk in the center of the starry sky...
It was the infinitely bright yet utterly cold Moon.
The instant he laid eyes on the Moon, an extre fear instantly seized his heart, as if even Fisher’s soul was about to be crushed. Yet, despite this, the lingering obsession from before he fell asleep lingered, and before losing his will, he shouted desperately,
"Renie!"
The next second, propelled by his forceful shout, Fisher sat up straight, his eyes wide open and panting. But before his eyes, there was no sign of the Moon, only the salty sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the ship. He stared blankly at the sunlit scene before him, not understanding how he had instantly gone from the cold of the Northern Realm to the Ocean.
At this mont, white sand baked by the Sun surrounded Fisher, lying shirtless on a vast beach. Beside him lay an unconscious Emhardt, and most importantly, looking down, he suddenly found his body returned to its robust form, as it was before being chased by Death, and his life rank was back to around the Thirteen Rank. Yet, the chill from being pursued by Death hadn’t been dispelled.
How did I...
He looked at his robust body with surprise, trying to find a reason, but only saw an "infinity" purple marking on his chest. The tattoo-like symbol seed alive, continually pulsating on his skin, but when Fisher reached out to touch it, he felt nothing.
"You’re awake, how do you feel? Want to eat sothing? There seem to be a lot of coconuts here..."
As Fisher furrowed his brow in thought, a deep fragrance suddenly filled his nostrils, accompanied by a lodious female voice reaching his ears. Looking up, he realized that at so point Renie had changed into light, white attire, standing barefoot on the white sand, looking eagerly at the towering coconut trees.
Fisher glanced at the strange symbol on his body, then narrowed his eyes as he asked Renie,
"Yesterday we were being hunted by the Witch Research Association, did you help us escape? Was it you who took care of my body? Why did you suddenly appear in the Northern Realm? What are you really..."
Seeing Fisher awake, Renie, as enticing as a big sister, skipped back to his side, inspecting him from head to toe before nodding and saying,
"Not bad, not bad, to ask so many questions right after waking up. In fact, I wanted to say before, even when you were that weakened, your reproductive capability didn’t diminish one bit, seems like you’re in better shape than you thought~"
"..."
Gazing at the smiling yet enigmatic woman before him, Fisher guessed that she wouldn’t answer any of his questions like before; asking her was pointless. So, he sighed, shook his head, and said,
"Forget it, as long as you’re safe, for now..."
"It was . I’m the one who took care of those pursuing us yesterday, I also assisted with your body’s recovery. Now we’re taking a break on a small island in the East Ocean. As for why I appeared suddenly in the Northern Realm... You were always searching for the Undead Witch, weren’t you? Though I don’t know your true intentions, probably the Undead Witch you’re looking for is , and my previous disappearance and sudden appearance in the Northern Realm are related to this."
Fisher blinked, incredulously looking at the grinning Renie squatting in front of him. Surprised, he raised an eyebrow, hardly believing she would admit sothing so openly. Given her extrely mischievous personality, it was rare she didn’t lie to deceive him. No response would be normal, let alone admitting it so honestly...
Thus, after a mont’s pause, the first thing he said was,
"You... Where did you hide the real Renie?"
"...Go to hell!"
Renie snapped, hitting Fisher. Now that Fisher’s body was back to being strong, she didn’t have to hold back her strength. Though, it wasn’t really heavy to begin with,
"I’m the fake Renie, I’m the fake Renie, then go find the real Renie to confess, you idiot, idiot, idiot!"
Renie floated up, like usual, pounding Fisher’s body wildly. After a pause, Fisher suddenly reached out and pulled Renie into a solid embrace. She seed caught off guard, her beautiful face turning red as she breathlessly lay on the sand with him.
