Just after the moonlight enveloped all of Fisher’s consciousness, he wasn’t sure how much ti had passed around him. It felt as if he hadn’t been moved at all, yet it also seed like he had experienced an extrely long dream. In the dream, there was nothing except for the incredibly familiar, enormous, and chilling moon hanging silently in the sky, coldly gazing at him.
In this ancient and unchanging gaze that sent shivers down the spine, Fisher awoke, but not naturally. He was forced to wake up, and it was extrely painful.
He simply felt suffocated, more so than when he was breathing underwater, as if his lungs were being drained dry without a hint of air to nourish them. All he could hear was the extre ringing in his ears, as if his body had returned to an extrely fragile state. But clearly, this ti it was due to another cause that led to this sensation.
“Fisher! Fisher! How are you? It’s too high here, with no air to breathe, let pull you to…”
“Emm…hardt…”
Amidst his extrely painful and labored breathing, Emhardt’s distinctive raspy voice resonated like an echo along with the ringing in Fisher’s ears, but this feeling was unlike what he usually heard. It was as if the voice was echoing inside his own brain.
Emhardt appeared to have bitten into Fisher’s clothes, laboriously dragging him in another direction.
But before Fisher, who was on the brink of suffocation, could figure out the current situation, even unable to open his eyes properly, he suddenly heard Emhardt exclaiming, seemingly having seen sothing, appearing very flustered,
“Fisher! Fisher! Wake up! Soone’s coming! Wake up! Ah! Let go of ! Holy Descendant, I…”
“A human? Why are they here, and what is this…”
Emhardt’s voice abruptly stopped. Unable to breathe, Fisher quickly clutched his chest, laboriously opening his eyes. When he looked up at the scene before him, the extrely dazzling light nearly blinded him.
He painfully covered his eyes, but before that, he vaguely saw two tall figures standing before him. At the sa ti, a deep male voice echoed in his mind. Although Fisher had never heard the language they spoke, for so reason, he instantly understood the aning of their words at that mont.
“Did he run up from the [first day]… his physical attributes are strange, unlike any ordinary human. Capture him first, then put him into [the Cage]. Afterward, I will report to [Raphael]…”

Unable to breathe, Fisher’s consciousness grew increasingly heavy. He could only crawl on the ground, straining to breathe to no avail. Several seconds later, just before he once again completely lost consciousness, he felt himself being lifted by a force. The conversation between the two figures beca intermittent, while Emhardt’s shouting resud,
“Fisher!!”
“This thing…”
“I will also… take it together…”
Subsequently, Fisher’s consciousness was once more pulled into complete darkness through suffocation.

After an unknown amount of ti had passed, Fisher finally regained the refreshing sensation of breathing. His chest rose and fell continuously, and his muddled consciousness beca ever clearer with each breath. He soon realized he seed to be lying sowhere, and by his side, a strange male figure was crouching beside him, silently using his hand to slowly stroke him.
“Boom!”
Fisher’s pupils slightly contracted. He abruptly raised his right arm and smashed it towards the head of the person beside him. The sudden attack, carrying a massive whooshing sound, shot towards the figure’s head, frightening him so much that he fell to the ground, backing away frantically, dodging Fisher’s punch in a bizarre fashion,
“Calm down, calm down, I an you no harm, calm down.”
Taking advantage of the person’s retreat, Fisher quickly sat up. He first checked his body to ensure he wasn’t injured, then began to examine his belongings. With a touch, he realized that his Magic Minister Ring, Fluid Sword, and even Emhardt were all missing.
After being used once inside the Wutong Tree, the Magic Minister Ring had been completely rendered useless. Previously, he had been too busy running from death to investigate the effect it activated at that ti, so he wasn’t too perturbed that it had been taken. The Fluid Sword, however, was quite precious and convenient, and its loss was sowhat painful for Fisher.
But the most crucial missing item was Emhardt; Fisher couldn’t accept losing him. Moreover, it seed he had heard Emhardt’s calls while he was in a daze, suggesting that he had been captured by soone.
However, the three Completion Manuals were still on his person, not taken away. The items Renie had given him, as well as the items included with the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual, were all securely tucked within the Completion Manual and hadn’t been lost…
Taking another look around, he noticed he was now sitting in a relatively spacious enclosed space. The surroundings’ walls were pitch-black, made of so unknown material. When he checked his soul, he found his connection with the outside world had been severed. This sensation was one Fisher had experienced before, and observing the place’s decoration, he suddenly felt a peculiarly familiar sensation.
