Capítulo 874: Chapter 18: Doctor
“Ah, of course, because the Angel Leader of the Seventh Heaven often intervenes in mortal matters, you can also call her by her other race’s na: [Pandora].”
The deeper Fisher listened, the more deeply his brows furrowed; the more he heard, the more his scalp tingled, especially as he leaned against the window, peering through the transparent material at the edge of the Sealing Cage to see the scene outside…
Only at this mont did he truly realize what exactly the [Mythical Species] he had never seen was like.
Outside the Sealing Cage, Fisher first saw a pale yet aesthetically pleasing architecture, most of which were slender, scattered and suspended within a certain range in the sky. There were few roads, mainly large and magnificent independent building groups.
But the surroundings of those building groups were not blue sky, but a pitch-black, profound darkness beyond the sky, because their current position was incredibly high. Looking down from here, one could imdiately see a gigantic blue planet that seed to fill Fisher’s entire view, quickly making him realize that below was where they had spent their entire lives relying on for survival.
Extending upward from the surface of that planet were imnse, milky white, floating cylindrical passages. Every so often, there appeared a large cluster of buildings with various styles but all so exquisitely beautiful that one could run out of words to praise them. It seed to be what the Whale-man Species called the [Sky].
And it was conceivable that there were several more layers of such strikingly beautiful building groups above them, deep and mysterious, leading to unknown places.
Unlike Fisher’s current tifra, looking south along the blue ocean below, there was a continent Fisher had never seen before. At the southern end of that continent, at the end of Fisher’s line of sight, was a colossal, indescribable, illusory golden tree. Stretching from the planet, its gigantic, twisted golden branches extended far into the dark reaches of space where Fisher could no longer see…
The size of that illusory golden tree was directly proportional to the planet in front of Fisher, its imnse, unreal form standing silently in the cosmos, making it hard for Fisher to distinguish whether the great tree before him was reality or illusion, only imagining how the living creatures under its canopy on that continent might gaze up at the tree that eclipsed the sky, majestic like a Divine.
That was… the World Tree of past Myths.
Fisher didn’t stay lost in the overwhelming sight before him for long; he quickly cald himself and realized there was a mishap in Renie’s arrangent.
According to the current Whale-man Species, only the First Heaven of the Holy Land had Favoured and Slaves, and these Favoured and Slaves couldn’t reach the other Heavens, let alone see Pandora, the Angel Leader of the Seventh Heaven, and her Holy Grail, so Renie evidently did not have a clear understanding of the Holy Land’s structure. Emhardt had no mory of the Holy Land to depend on either, since he seed to have been captured by the Angels by now.
So, it was unclear whether Renie’s accidental sending of him to the Second Heaven, only inhabited by Angels, was a good or bad thing, given that these Angel Species were bona fide Mythical Creatures, and now they had captured him…
The deeper Fisher’s brow furrowed, it suddenly relaxed after several seconds, as if he rembered sothing and looked at the gentle, jade-like Whale-man Species male before him, expressing his thanks,
“Thank you for your information, it’s been very helpful to . So, why have you co to the Holy Land, if I may ask? From what I know, the Whale-man Species dwell deep beneath the sea and rarely erge, right?”
“Ah, well, it’s a long story…”
The Whale-man Species in front of him gave a wry smile, scratching his chin before continuing Fisher’s conversation,
“To be honest, I’m actually a doctor. I’m very interested in various dical techniques in the world, and have already learned a lot about different races’ dical concepts and thodologies. I initially intended to visit the Angel Raphael, as I’ve heard he’s skilled in healing others, and I wished to discuss with him. However, he refused to engage in any way, so I had to co up myself to see how the Angels practice dicine. Unexpectedly, though I ca up without issue… going back is another matter…”
“…So, were you examining my body just now?”
How co every Whale-man Species he encountered, except for Xuan Can, seed like Moli?
Fisher looked speechlessly at the gentle, silly-smiling Whale-man Species in front of him, unsure what to say for a mont. Just as he was at a loss for words, the Whale-man suddenly clapped his hands, as though recalling sothing, and said,
“That’s right, since the Angels were quite rough when implanting the Holy Object, and you’ve been unconscious, I was sowhat concerned. By the way, speaking of which, we hadn’t introduced ourselves yet, had we? I guess we’re just calling each other ‘Human Sir’ and ‘Whale-man Species Sir’ by now?”
“Ah…”
Fisher sighed, then gazed out the window, his mind preoccupied with various thoughts making him sowhat absent-minded, yet he still addressed the person before him,
“My na is Fisher, a human scholar… though I’m not even sure if humans have scholars now.”
“There should be, I think.”
The Whale-man Species before him smiled slightly, unaffected by Fisher’s indifferent deanor. He simply shifted his sitting posture, also looking out the window, and introduced himself,
“My na is Hooked kiss, I’m an ordinary Whale-man Species doctor.”
