Hooked kiss touched his chin, Tangze Asuka was startled, and Fisher continued to ask Helair,
"A wish, what kind of wish did she make, could it be related to forbidden knowledge?"
Upon hearing Helair’s words, the first thing Fisher thought of was the forbidden knowledge contained in the Completion Manual. This knowledge granted its possessors considerable abilities but also brought madness. Could it be that Gabriel’s craving for forbidden knowledge from the Holy Grail drove her mad?
Upon hearing Fisher ntion "forbidden knowledge," a barely perceptible and ambiguous glance flickered in Helair’s beautiful eyes. Then, her smile deepened, and she shook her head, saying,
"Forbidden knowledge, though I’m not sure what you’re referring to, you must know that every living creature in this world is a Believer of Order, and Gabriel Angel is no exception. Of course, she wouldn’t do sothing so dangerous. We all pretty much know the details and the process of the wish she made to Sariel Angel Leader..."
Fisher couldn’t help but feel that Helair emphasized the term "Believer of Order" a bit heavily, but before he could delve deeper, Helair continued,
"She wished for a child from the Holy Grail."
"A child?"
"Yes, as I ntioned to you before, although angels are genderless, they tend to have a clear personality preference. Gabriel Angel is an angel with a natural inclination towards the feminine. It’s likely that she has wanted to be a mother for a long ti. No one can know for sure, but her wish to the Holy Grail was indeed like that."
Fisher opened his mouth, and even Tangze Asuka didn’t quite understand the connection between her wish and her madness, yet Hooked kiss raised his eyebrows, as if realizing sothing.
Fisher was a bit puzzled, asking,
"I don’t understand why she needed to make a wish for a child, or did she not want to partner with soone else?"
Helair smiled gently without answering, she gazed at the Hooked kiss behind Fisher, and said to him,
"Isn’t this Whale-man species a doctor? He should know more about this than I do. Why not have him explain it to you?"
Both Fisher and Tangze Asuka turned to look at Hooked kiss, who smiled wryly, shrugged, and said,
"Ah, no problem... Mr. Fisher, it’s like this. I don’t know if you’re aware of the concepts of Life Rank and Reproduction Rank proposed by humans."
"I’m aware."
Tangze Asuka tilted her head in bewildernt, not understanding any of the terms they were discussing, but she didn’t interrupt Hooked kiss’s explanation,
"That’s good, but what we’re about to discuss is likely unknown to humans, because the level gap between humans and Mythical Rank is far too vast, and there aren’t many existing mythical creatures, and rarely any opportunities for summary; thus, their concluded rules mostly apply but are not applicable to mythical creatures."
"When it cos to mythical creatures, their reproduction process becos extrely difficult, even if their Reproduction Rank is very similar and they are of the sa species. Mythical creatures tend to distort existing rules to so extent, but the real hurdle in their reproduction is actually the process where the Spirit Realm locks onto the mother and injects a soul."
"The birth of new life occurs in three stages. First is the formation of the ’base’ to hold the soul in reality, which is the fertilized egg in the mother’s womb; then the consciousness of the Spirit Realm locks onto this base and injects a soul; finally, the base and the soul are bound together to grow as part of the new life..."
"The problem with mythical creatures is that their body and soul are fused, which ans the Spirit Realm finds it difficult to lock onto the base and inject a soul into the fertilized egg, making the birth of life unfeasible... even if the parents cultivate that part as the base, what is ultimately born would just be a ’dead fetus’."
Fisher’s pupils contracted slightly after hearing this because he suddenly recalled sothing he had heard.

Luckily, at that ti, she t the contributor of the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual, and then the contributor brought back a Whale-man species doctor from the ocean, who then took care of the dead fetus...

As this thought crossed his mind, Fisher suddenly looked up incredulously at the Hooked kiss in front of him who wore a gentle smile.
It seems, this guy is also a Whale-man species, and a doctor at that.
Is it possible that the Whale-man species doctor who was sworn in by the contributor of the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual is Hooked kiss?
By the way, the contributor of the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual is female, given how henpecked Hooked kiss is, would his wife not have objections to the contributor?
"Mr. Fisher? What’s wrong with you?"
Fisher snapped back to reality, shook his head, and said,
"Nothing, I just suddenly recalled an experience related to this... I once heard an example of mythical creatures failing to give birth to a child. Based on what you’ve said, I finally understand the reason now."
