Fisher clearly recognized the Energy Moonstone used for making Cardinals in the future. This ans Mikhail has not yet officially started building his signature Cardinal. Fisher didn’t know how similar Mikhail’s creations in his original world were to the future Cardinals, so he could only start with the machine tool Mikhail was currently building.
Mikhail didn’t hide much and laid out the whole purpose of the machine tool and the weapons it could produce. However, not only did Hooked Kiss, being a doctor, listen in confusion, but Fisher also could not understand at all.
Fortunately, Mikhail seed to realize the limited comprehension of the two in front of him and did not explain too much. He only wondered why Asuka Tangze hadn’t finished checking the external lines,
"Hasn’t she finished checking yet? The lines are posted on the outer wall; they should be very clear..."
"Help! Help! Waaaah! Help, could soone co and save !"
Just as Mikhail ntioned Asuka Tangze’s na, her screams imdiately echoed from downstairs. Fisher and Hooked Kiss’s faces changed at once; they hurriedly got up and went to the tightly closed window. Who would’ve thought that as soon as they opened it, a huge, house-sized, transparent, viscous mass slamd into their view.
"Gurgle!"
"What is that thing?"
Frowning, Fisher scrutinized the massive writhing monster before him, while Hooked Kiss leaned on the windowsill, patted Fisher’s shoulder, and pointed forward,
"Look, Little Tangze is ahead, and that thing is chasing her."
Instinctively, Fisher reached for the Fluid Sword at his chest, only to find it missing, as if it was still with them and hadn’t been returned. Speechless but still attentive, he carefully observed the enormous bizarre Holy Object ahead. He roughly gauged its rank wasn’t low, likely around the Fourteenth Rank, and he promptly said,
"I’ll go save Tangze; who’ll call Helair over?"
"I’ll go; that way, it’ll be faster. Be careful. This thing is high level, but its offensive capabilities don’t seem too strong. It seems to enjoy chasing Little Tangze..."
Indeed, Fisher noticed it too. While Tangze Asuka, pursued by it, was physically weak and running slower, the monster behind was maliciously slowing down as well. Yet, its terrifying gurgling noises grew louder, frightening Tangze Asuka into running wildly around the house without daring to look back,
"Ha... Waaa, help... help..."
Watching the pitiful sight of Tangze Asuka crying while running, Fisher let out a sigh, leaped from the second floor, and ran towards her. anwhile, Hooked Kiss sprinted off in another direction, preparing to find Helair for help. In contrast, Mikhail, a re human, wisely did not rashly rush out to assist.
He was one-eyed and one-handed; going out would only hinder rather than help, better to sit here.
"Gurgle~"
The semi-transparent giant monster constantly bubbled in its belly. Its extending tentacles lashed the ground, making the almost exhausted Tangze Asuka pale with fright and close her eyes to speed up again. Fisher seriously doubted if she kept running like this, she might actually drop dead from exhaustion.
As she struggled to accelerate, the massive entity behind her seed unsatisfied, suddenly extending a tentacle to touch her back. In an instant, the black uniform blazer had been corroded with raindrop-like holes, revealing her fair back and the strap of her pink cute-patterned underwear imprinted with little bears,
"Uwaaah!"
"Gurgle~"
Seeing Tangze Asuka clutching her back and crying in embarrassnt as she ran away, countless semi-transparent tentacles sprouted from the giant’s body, excitedly wrapping around her left calf and ankle, instantly corroding parts of her black knee-high socks and shoes, then yanking her to the ground face-first.
"Wuuu..."
She sniffled in grievance and paled upon seeing countless twisted semi-transparent tentacles closing in on her, scaring her into closing her eyes, waiting for death to arrive...
Just at this critical mont, Fisher rushed from behind, suddenly extending a hand to grab one of hers, and yanked her from the tentacles’ clutches,
"Mr. Fisher..."
"Are you alright?"
Fisher dragged her far back, picking up on her faint, almost fainting voice. Raising an eyebrow, he glanced at her back, fearing she’d been hurt when touched by that thing monts ago. However, upon looking, there wasn’t a scratch, just smooth unblemished skin...
Tangze Asuka, feeling woozy yet aware of Fisher’s scrutinizing gaze, imdiately blushed and covered her back. The chilly sensation made her dizzy with embarrassnt, her eyes wandering all over the place,
