"Alright, what’s the plan?"
"Once Archangel Michael returns from the Wisdom Vortex on the Sixth Day with the World Tree Tear, I will inform him of the birthday celebration. He cares more about the World Tree Tear than I do and certainly won’t miss this rare opportunity. Choosing you all to go will be his inevitable decision. The only consideration is the angel who will lead the team..."
This person must gain Michael’s trust and finish Pandora’s mission in secrecy. Fisher could already roughly guess who this person might be without the need for angels to deliberate.
He looked back speechlessly at Helair, who was smiling and seed quite eager about the future trip to the Tree Continent, and an ominous feeling spread from his heart.
Sure enough, Pandora’s next words confird Fisher’s suspicion,
"Helair, having been coordinating various celestial realms in the Holy Land for many years, has good relations with all the realms. Broadly speaking, she doesn’t take orders from ; we just agree on this matter... Plus, she’s smooth in her ways, making her the most suitable candidate for this role. She, along with you three, plus Remiel, will suffice. Although Remiel cannot enter the Tree Continent, he will wait for you outside the continent."
"Should things change, you can seek his help; no matter what, you can at least secure a life. Besides, if there’s any other help you need, you can tell . I interact with the living creatures of the mortal world often, unlike Michael, who is so stingy..."
Seeing the opportunity, Fisher imdiately spoke to Pandora,
"I have two requests... The first is for so magic materials that the Pandora Angel uses to forge the Gospel Relics; the second is, could you tell the thod to forge these Gospel Relics."
"You want to forge a Holy Object?"
"It might be helpful for this journey, huh?"
Pandora pondered for a mont and then casually waved her hand. Two large bags of magic materials placed at the tower’s corner flew directly into Fisher’s arms. He hurriedly reached out to catch them, feeling the heavy weight of the materials,
"Very well. Helair, I’ll leave the rest to you. Thank you."
"No problem, Lord Sariel."
The previously unnoticed Helair finally made an obvious move and pointed to the exterior of the tower, addressing the three,
"Follow , you three... and by the way, you need a change of clothes; you’re almost like slaves fleeing from below."
"Farewell, Pandora Angel."
Fisher took one last look at Pandora, who stood with her back to them, blindfolded. Hooked kiss greeted the Pandora Angel, then followed Helair down the tower and towards the distance.
The sound of angels forging was endless, and the high-temperature casting caused the ether of the Fifth Day to beco restless. As the three moved farther away, Pandora quietly placed her hand atop the furnace before her.
"Gurgle~"
With a surge of strange power emanating from her hand, a pair of round shadows abruptly shot out from the eerie furnace, scorched by the sun’s heat...
On closer inspection, they seed to be a pair of eye-shaped Holy Objects, though apparently, the forging had failed.
The eyeballs were covered with rugged, uneven surfaces, seemingly unable to withstand the terrifying high temperature of the furnace, turning as black as charcoal. Yet, the floating eyeballs in mid-air kept twitching, like madn constantly trying to capture the surrounding scenery. But in just a few seconds, the fragile objects completely lost their function and beca dead artifacts...
Noticing the disappearance of what she grabbed, Pandora’s expression remained calm, showing no sign of disappointnt.
She rely murmured softly,
"Failed again..."
...
...
"So scary... It was so hot and itchy just now, but after staying long in front of that angel, it felt so cold, so cold..."
"I thought you’d be thrilled having found a clue to return ho, Little Tang Ze... But this is quite normal; the Pandora Angel is of the Nineteenth Rank, although there’s a gap to the Twentieth Rank demigod, she’s already an apex existence. Even though she’s restrained it to the extre, given the proximity, feeling the pressure is understandable."
On the way back, Hooked kiss explained with a smile to the side, where Tangze Asuka was sweating coldly, but Tangze Asuka shook his head and said,
"It’s not that kind of pressure... Unlike the pure physical pressure from Michael Angel, I just felt psychologically uncomfortable, like... my heart and brain were dissected, yet my consciousness remained clear, that sort of feeling..."
Upon hearing this, Fisher glanced at Tangze Asuka; evidently, he had just experienced the sa feeling.
Furthermore, it wasn’t the first ti he had this feeling. Previously, in front of Elizabeth’s all-out Prosthetic Eye, he had felt the sa way. That Prosthetic Eye was called [Pandora’s Artificial Eye], obviously closely related to the angel leader before them. He had always thought that the ability to see through desires ca from the Holy Object, but now it seed to be the other way around; the Holy Object’s ability ca from this angel leader.
Even though Emhardt ntioned he thought Pandora’s Artificial Eye was sentient, since that eye never paid him much attention, Fisher couldn’t be 100% sure the eye, like Emhardt, possessed clear intelligence. He could only consider it as an option.
