Chapter 976: Chapter 51: Pseudo-Chaotic Scene

Outside the Phoenix Station on the Tree Continent, as Fisher and Necolia were descending together, the entire ground began to shake uncontrollably again, as if trying to overturn the entire continent. The surrounding trees also swayed, and fine cracks suddenly spread from where they connected to the ground.

“Another earthquake?!”

On the ground, the Qilin Species who had his clothes blown away by Fisher’s leaf looked up at his surroundings in a daze. As the ground shook violently, flocks of naless birds rose densely from the distant mountains and forests, screeching and fleeing in all directions.

At the sa ti, that extre fear and palpitations engulfed Fisher’s heart again, making the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.

“Buzz buzz buzz!”

A sharp ringing sound suddenly pierced Fisher’s ears, covering all other noises completely. Simultaneously, his vision gradually darkened, as if death surrounding him was about to beco tangible.

“Watch out!!”

At that mont, Necolia’s brother, who Fisher was riding, suddenly trembled his wings. A giant tree beside them was falling in their direction, as if proving just how unlucky Fisher was. Wherever he flew, trees collapsed towards him, along with the highly chaotic rule of death. Fisher realized staying on this Phoenix Species would only bring disaster to him.

“Let down, go help the others!”

“Huh?”

He turned his head, his voice muffled, and saw only Fisher’s stern face. The next second, before he could react, Fisher patted his shoulder, leapt off with the Fluid Sword in hand, and rushed toward the other side of the forest.

He wanted to verify if the target of this deathly shift was indeed himself.

“Those slaves!”

The entire front of the Phoenix Station descended into chaos due to the violent earthquake. Hooked Kiss also took Mikhail with him to evade the collapsing ground and trees around them. But just as Mikhail was preparing to leave, he sharply noticed the slaves behind the Royal Capital Envoys, tied up and unable to move freely.

The Royal Capital Envoys scattered in all directions, plainly abandoning those slaves who were like ants to them.

Watching the slaves, chained, unable to escape the aftershocks of the earthquake no matter how they scread or writhed, Mikhail suddenly turned and dashed towards them.

“Mikhail!”

Hooked Kiss called out, noticing the crisis-ingulfed group of slaves. Originally about to flee, he bit his lip and turned to follow Mikhail’s steps in that direction.

“Boom boom boom!”

As a human, Mikhail appeared so insignificant in the face of such natural disasters, swaying involuntarily to the side even as he ran forward. His eyes chilled, his chanical right arm already fully charged, as the spiritual threshold ter rose, the energy accumulated on that right hand grew increasingly dangerous.

In the era he lived, New Siberian Wind, New Russia’s largest arms company, was fad for producing such high-energy particle weapons. As a forr engineer of New Siberian Wind, Mikhail was thoroughly familiar with how to use such weapons, but he needed the aid of a microcomputer.

Watching the screaming slaves, Mikhail finally hesitated no more. Reaching into his bosom, he took out a prosthetic eye, imdiately inserting it into his empty eye socket.

“Zzz zzz zzz!”

[New Siberian Wind Bionic Microcomputer has been connected to the system, not linked to the internet or city LAN, initiating offline mode]

[Warning, your spiritual threshold is nearing the danger line. Please use a blocking agent imdiately to avoid the onset of ntal disorders]

As the microcomputer fully connected to his brain, Mikhail’s vision flickered with a snowy disturbance akin to a poor signal, while the buzzing in his ears persisted, yet his computer-linked right arm finally could fully deploy its functionality.

“Ha…”

Mikhail stopped running forward, abruptly raising his right arm, aiming at the group of slaves under the imminent collapse of trees. Various computational processes beyond human imagination exploded in his brain, akin to a steel awl twisting into his mind.

But in the next second, his right arm grew brighter, the dangerously glowing light seed imbued with intelligence, suddenly dispersing, accurately targeting countless already danger-detected trees and the chains that restricted their activity.

“Zzz zzz zzz!”

“We can move! We can move!”

In midair, Necolia glanced at Mikhail in surprise, then promptly instructed her brother beside her,

“Brother, go help those slaves.”

“Alright.”

She had seen enough unexpected things today…

What are these envoys from the Holy Land really here for?

“Amazing, Mr. Mikhail! Why didn’t you show such an amazing thing before…”

Watching the extrely spectacular scene, Hooked Kiss marveled, patting Mikhail’s shoulder, but suddenly upon contact, he realized Mikhail’s whole body was uncontrollably trembling.
