"Death God’s gamble?"
Chu Xiu raised an eyebrow slightly, "What is that?"
"It’s a special gamble that uses life as a stake," the voice of the masked man was hoarse, "If you win against , I will give you ten Destiny Chips. These chips co from the God of Gambling, they are worth a fortune. Outside, countless people would scramble for even one to no avail."
"And what if I lose?" Chu Xiu calmly asked.
"Is there any need to ask?" The masked man seed a bit impatient, "I already said, it’s the Death God’s gamble where life is the stake..."
"Death God?" Chu Xiu sneered dismissively, interrupting him, "How many divisions does the Death God have? I want to know the specifics. How do you plan to take my life?"
The masked man seed to have never encountered such an arrogant person, was montarily speechless, and only after a while, responded with dissatisfaction, "Why ask so many questions, anyway you can’t refuse the gamble, unless you want to stay here forever..."
But halfway through his words, his body suddenly froze as if electrocuted, and white smoke "sizzling" started to emanate from his body.
After a few seconds, he gathered himself, reluctantly saying, "According to the rules, I must answer your questions."
"If you lose, the retribution will be carried out by the Notary. If you can withstand it, that’s my bad luck, and you can still survive."
With his sowhat hoarse voice falling, four candles suddenly lit up around them, further illuminating the room, and Chu Xiu also saw the true face of the "furniture" around him.
To his sides were rows of shelves. To the left, they were filled with various torture devices stained with dried blood, saws, branding irons, pliers for pulling nails, wires connected to high voltage, and so on...
On the right side of the shelves, there were various calibers of firearms and ammunition, which looked rather aged, with dust covering the bodies of the guns.
On either side of the cabinet stood two slim, tall figures dressed in tuxedos, with no facial features, their body proportions extrely uncoordinated, evidently the Notaries the masked man spoke of.
Chu Xiu looked sowhat amusedly at the torture devices on the cabinets on either side, "You think these things can hurt ?"
The masked man did not answer, rely said, "If you’re prepared, press the button on the side of the chair."
Chu Xiu didn’t rush to act but was thinking whether to proceed with the rules of the gamble or simply break his way out.
These chains, although heavy, were not sothing that he with his nearly four hundred abnormal Constitution couldn’t break free from easily.
As for participating in the gamble... frankly, although Chu Xiu was sowhat morally corrupt, he was not one to indulge in all kinds of vices. At least he had lived nearly thirty years in his previous life without even stepping foot in a casino, and during New Year when playing poker, he was the one standing on the side rely watching.
Moreover, his luck in gambling was very poor, with the few tis he’d done it ending in miserable defeat.
And the guy opposite clearly was an old hand; who knows what kind of bad trick he’s holding back for Chu Xiu.
Compared to racking his brain in an area others excel, he preferred smashing everything with the Celestial Demon Hand.
And as he was contemplating this, the task panel tily appeared before his eyes.
[Trial Na: Iz Tal Ogos’s Ga]
[Trial Description: β-2345674 is a world ruled by Iz Tal Ogos, an Outer Realm Demon that worships the God of Gambling. He has turned his world into a giant casino, where everything including your body and soul can be used as stakes, and you can gamble them for anything.]

Looking at the panel before him, Chu Xiu had a pensive look on his face.
"Is it an intellect-based instance? That’s not really my forte."
Chu Xiu had precise self-awareness that while certainly not a fool, his intelligence was surely inferior to his ceiling-level Power.
But he didn’t dwell on it for long, raising his hand to press the button on the chair.
With a soft "beep" sound, unexpectedly to Chu Xiu, not only did nothing disadvantageous to him happen, but instead, the chains binding him fell off of their own accord.
Just as Chu Xiu was puzzled, a phantom chain suddenly linked to his left wrist.
At the sa ti, the masked person opposite suddenly burst out in surprising laughter, "Hahahaha! You fools! Every single one of you is the sa fool! Do you think just because I can’t hurt you, that you can readily accept the gamble?"
"Let tell you, neither these chains nor those torture tools are designed to harm you. They’re to delude you into thinking everything is under your control! That even losing would be inconsequential! The arrogance of your Awakened ones, I understand it all too well, hahahaha!"
"Now that you’ve been linked by the ’Bet Chain’, you’re compelled to proceed with the gamble! Any form of resistance or rule-breaking will be imdiately punished by the ’Bet Chain’!"
Saying that, the masked man clapped his hands, and at a further distance, several more oil lamps lit up.
Only then did Chu Xiu realize that in the furthest corner of the room, there were two nineteenth-century large-caliber Fire Cannons placed! At this mont, the dark barrel of the cannon was directly aid at him!
Beside each Fire Cannon stood a Notary holding a fuse, ready to ignite the Fire Cannons at any mont.
What was more bizarre was that the mont the oil lamps lit up, all of Chu Xiu’s Equipnt was forcibly stripped away, replaced by a thin burlap shirt!
