"Screech!"
The sharp long halberd struck Chu Xiu’s abdon, carving out a terrifying wound, but after penetrating five or six centiters, it was firmly stopped by sothing far more resilient than steel.
The attacker was montarily stunned, seemingly not expecting such a scene. In his expectation, this halberd strike should have been able to sever Chu Xiu clean in half.
But before he could react, he was t with a pair of furious yet still calm eyes.
"Bang!"
Chu Xiu deflected the long halberd and countered with a backhand punch. The enormous force of his punch landed squarely on the attacker’s chest, instantly shattering ribs, and causing the entire chest cavity to cave in as if a tal basin had been smashed flat in the middle! Under the force of Chu Xiu’s giant strength, the attacker was sent flying backward, crashing heavily against the rock.
"Boom!"
A large crater was punched into the wall, and countless rubble fell with a soft rustling sound.
However, a strange event unfolded as the attacker rely stretched his neck and stood up from the rubble, seemingly unhard. Astonishingly, his chest injury had already partially healed!
Chu Xiu’s gaze sharpened as he instantly realized sothing.
Turning his head, he saw that in the brief delay, Moloch and Kinnara had already regained distance from him, assuming defensive stances.
Despite so frustration, Chu Xiu refrained from further entanglent and, with the Flying Corpse, retreated back to the sky, maintaining a safe distance from the enormous serpent to avoid being swallowed again.
Then, he looked down at the attacker from before.
The opponent’s chest wound had now completely healed, and he sneered at Chu Xiu, saying, "As expected of a Civilization Envoy daring to challenge the Apocalypse Difficulty, you do have so skills."
Chu Xiu did not respond and rely sized up the opponent silently.
The individual stood three ters tall, entirely covered in crimson, with spines protruding from his skin. Although he had a humanoid form, it was clear he was not of the human race, with eyes shining with beastly bloodlust and savagery.
If he’s correct, this should be that Alien Civilization Envoy.
"Trouble has congregated, it seems," Chu Xiu squinted.
Moreover, he noticed that Moloch and Kinnara seed well aware of the Civilization Envoy’s existence, showing no surprise at his appearance and even converging towards him.
"I wondered why the greatest obstacle of this Apocalypse Difficulty hadn’t shown up yet. Turns out he prioritized contacting the Abyssal Monster. A wise choice," Chu Xiu thought to himself.
At this mont, noticing Chu Xiu looking at him, the Alien Civilization Envoy grinned without any extra words. With a leap from his muscular legs akin to a tiger or leopard, the rock beneath him shattered outward like a bomb had exploded, launching him like a cannonball towards Chu Xiu!
Chu Xiu let out a cold snort, raising a fist to strike. The punch landed on the scapula, instantly shattering the shoulder bone!
This Civilization Envoy wasn’t particularly strong; he seed to be of the type that engages in close combat with physical prowess. The only troubleso aspect was his previous concealnt through so Divine Techniques, likely a form of Talent, conservatively estimated to be at least S-Class. Otherwise, Chu Xiu wouldn’t have failed to detect him all along.
The combination enabled him to possess a potent stealth assassination capability, and even in direct combat, he wielded an Advanced King Tier battle power, surpassing the average strength of Civilization Envoys from Blue Star.
Although considered a top-tier talent, he was nothing in Chu Xiu’s eyes.
Nonetheless, Chu Xiu’s expression turned serious, as the feeling from his fist indicated an alarming reality. Compared to the previous punch, the strength of this person’s bones had increased by at least thirty percent within seconds!
Following the punch, not only did the man not retreat, but he also unleashed a deranged laughter and charged at Chu Xiu again. Simultaneously, wielding the long halberd with his uninjured right hand, aiming straight at Chu Xiu’s neck!
Just as Chu Xiu was about to counterattack, a piercing scream broke through his eardrums. It was the Song God Kinnara launching a tily assault, causing Chu Xiu’s body to jolt, and he narrowly evaded, only moving half a body length away. The halberd’s edge sliced a narrow wound across his chest, spraying out fresh blood.
At this mont, Chu Xiu’s skin and abdon wounds had not healed yet, and he sustained further injury. While the Golden Flesh and Nether Bone had elevated his body strength to an extraordinary level, it also necessitated more energy for him to heal!
As the second strike from the Alien Civilization Envoy approached, Chu Xiu reluctantly slapped the Spirit and Flesh Storage Pouch, unleashing a grotesque creature to block the path, extending its Sharp Claws towards the Alien Civilization Envoy. It was none other than the Poison Claw Corpse!
Unexpectedly, faced with the Poison Claw Corpse’s assault, the Civilization Envoy neither dodged nor evaded, taking the hit directly! His chest bore five deep claw marks reaching bone.
Instantly, pitch-black venom began spreading through the wounds, dissolving any flesh it touched as if soaked in a powerful acid. The bones were even lted away!
This was the terror of the Poison Claw Corpse! Harboring a King Tier organism as its body, it was refined with massive amounts of blood and flesh through the Demon Sect’s millennia of research, pushing the venom’s power to the extre!
Getting scratched with even the slightest abrasion required imdiate excision of the surrounding area for survival; otherwise, even a trace of the venom could kill a King Tier!
In less than half a second, the venom infiltrated the Alien Civilization Envoy’s five viscera, turning the usually vibrant red heart into a rotting dark hue, with at least half corroding away, pus-like fluid dripping incessantly from the remaining edges.
