Even worse, the High Tier Blood Demon and the Civilization Envoy have yet to make an appearance, which shows that the opponent is very cautious. Before taking action, he must first contact the base leadership.
Just then, two Guards approached Chu Xiu.
"Sir Awakened, our Saintess wishes to see you." One of them spoke.
Chu Xiu nodded, knowing that it was his previous display of strength that caught the lady’s attention. A stranger with powerful abilities is necessary to either recruit or be cautious of.
Following the Guards, he arrived at the highest point of the kiloter-high mountain, where there’s a man-made open area that serves as the command center.
As Chu Xiu approached, he imdiately saw the Saintess standing in the main position. In front of her was a long table, with over a dozen people seated on either side, most of whom were Awakened of General Tier or higher, including four of King Tier.
Besides the Saintess and the man who can raise a rocky city wall, there was a Giant Axe Warrior in Heavy Armor and a man in a black cloak with his face covered, carrying Dual Blades on his waist, who seed to be of the Assassin Profession.
As Chu Xiu entered, the room suddenly fell silent, and everyone turned to look at him.
"Hello, my na is Aurora." The blonde-haired girl from the main position broke the silence first, "Are you the Awakened who recently arrived at our base? I’ve never seen such a combat style before."
Chu Xiu glanced around, not answering Aurora’s question, and without wasting words, directly said: "I am an Awakened from another world, here to save you."
"The attack you faced today was not a coincidence but rely the beginning—just a trivial probing."
"Within the next thirty days, you will face unprecedented attacks, with the number of Blood Demon minions reaching millions, tens of millions, even hundreds of millions! There will be hundreds or thousands of King Tier monsters appearing too!"
Chu Xiu’s words left everyone present in shock.
No, how could just a casual greeting lead to receiving such an exaggerated ssage head-on?
Almost everyone instantly assud he was an Awakened who had gone insane in the apocalypse, possibly encountering sothing bizarre during a Trial which drove him mad; such cases are not uncommon among Awakened.
"Do you..." Aurora carefully chose her words, taking quite so ti before saying: "Do you have any evidence for what you’re saying?"
"The evidence is that I have no need to lie."
Chu Xiu said, suddenly clenching his left hand forward, and in the next mont, a torrent of Demonic Qi surged forward!
Everyone’s expressions changed dramatically, never expecting Chu Xiu to attack so suddenly. But in this command center, there were the strongest forces in the base, all of them seasoned Awakened. In a flash, they responded in the best possible ways: dodging, blocking, or facing the attack head-on.
However, everyone quickly realized their once-proud Strength was insignificant in front of the pitch-black mist, even King Tier Skills couldn’t stop it in the slightest!
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
A dozen black hands directly seized all the Awakened present, their bodies flushing red as they tried to break free from the black hands’ grip. But they quickly felt the terrifying Power contained within those hands, capable of crushing them like ants in an instant!
