Terror flooded Sui Liushu’s heart, erasing any trace of the brave and resolute warrior who had once carved a bloody path through Dangyin Ridge.

That wisp of Ren Water Heavy Dull Qi could only be purged by consuming and refining a Bing Fire Spiritual Object, but that scoundrel Yang Xun would never give him the chance.

"Yang Xun, do you know my daughter has already joined the Innate Sect and is on the verge of securing a True Inheritance seat! Whatever benefits Liu Huan gave you, I can promise the sa! I’ll give you double!"

Seeing the normally high and mighty, pretentious Sui Liushu beco hysterical at the precipice of life and death, Yang Xun roared with delighted laughter.

"After I kill you, all those things will be mine anyway! To hell with the damn Innate Sect! You wanted to consu the Daoist Can, so I’ll be the one to take your life!"

The bald-browed, long-faced old man strode forward. Billowing Ding Fire coalesced into a massive Jiao-Mang that lunged forward, repeatedly slamming into the surface of the Bright Fla Mirror. The assault sent the mirror spinning wildly, all to drain more of Sui Liushu’s True Qi.

Before long, Jiang Yi returned to the main hall. His Black Shadow Magical Robe was spotless, but his calm features radiated a palpable killing intent.

"Elder Sui, your Subordinate Control Skill isn’t very effective. The mont I announced I was acting on the Sect Leader’s decree to execute Elder Sui Liushu of Observing Fate Peak, they all scattered like rats!

The few who did make a sound, I killed."

Sui Liushu backed into a corner, the light from the Bright Fla Mirror hovering above him growing dim, almost flickering out.

One of his hands was hidden in his sleeve, as if clutching an object. He gritted his teeth and said:

"Liu Huan is using the two of you as scapegoats! I’ve refined a Life Plate, and my daughter, Sui Yuzhu, has it!

If I die here today, she will certainly co for revenge!

And when that ti cos, Liu Huan will just throw you two out to face her wrath..."

Jiang Yi shook his head. What Sui Liushu said wasn’t wrong; this was likely the Sect Leader’s plan all along.

Zhou Fu of the Supre rit Institute on Observing Sun Peak was the pawn he had painstakingly cultivated for the sole purpose of eliminating Sui Liushu.

This was all information obtained from begging the Celestial Book.

"As for you and that daughter of yours, Elder Sui, it’s hard to say who will die first.

Go peacefully on your way. You might even have so company—a father-daughter reunion in the underworld."

Sui Liushu sneered, dismissing Jiang Yi’s words as a re psychological ploy. ’His daughter is a Disciple of the Innate Sect,’ he thought. ’Who in all of Beimang Ridge would dare to touch her?’

"You young villain! I won’t let either of you go, not even as a ghost!"

Sui Liushu bit the tip of his tongue, spitting out a mouthful of Essence Blood. The Bright Fla Mirror above his head flipped to its yin side, unleashing a blinding ray of fire!

The attack was as swift as lightning—impossible to defend against!

But Jiang Yi seed to have anticipated it. His Bing Ding Fire flared violently, weaving itself into a celestial net of crimson light.

Controlled by his Divine Thought, the net opened like a living creature and ensnared the fiery ray. Amidst a SIZZLING sound, the crimson light ground the ray of fire into nothing.

"Did you think I wouldn’t know? Elder Sui’s Bright Fla Mirror has two sides: the yang side for defense, and the yin side for offense. I held my tongue just now for the sole purpose of baiting you into exhausting your Cultivation on this one move."

Jiang Yi’s voice rang out as he finished speaking. He then strode forward and, shockingly, swung a fist down with brutal force. His terrifying physique was like that of a dragon-elephant.

DONG! DONG! Each blow landed like a strike upon a great bell, erupting with a deafening, rumbling crash.

Imdiately after, a sharp CRACK echoed through the hall.

The Bright Fla Mirror, as if struck by a devastating blow, fell powerlessly to the ground and tumbled aside.

Yang Xun snatched it up at once, pressing it firmly into his robes and suppressing it with his Ding Fire True Qi to prevent Sui Liushu from recalling it.

"How do you know all this?! You’re only at the Qi Cultivation Sixth Layer! There’s no way you could have mastered a Divine Technique like Ding Fire Illuminating Life!"

Sui Liushu’s eyes were wide with terror. He stared at Jiang Yi as if looking at an unnatural monster.

’My secrets, my thoughts... he’s anticipated my every move and calculated it all perfectly!’

"And I know one more thing."

Jiang Yi’s eyes glead like contained flas. Though he was only at the Qi Cultivation Sixth Layer, he struck genuine, bone-chilling fear into the heart of Sui Liushu, a master at the Qi Cultivation Ninth Layer.

"You didn’t bring your Divine Fire Circle with you today, Elder. Hiding your hand in your sleeve was just a bluff after you heard what I said, a deliberate attempt to intimidate and make more cautious."

At these words, every hair on Sui Liushu’s body stood on end. It was as if his nerve had completely shattered; his fear had reached its absolute peak.

"Who... who are you?! A True Monarch Reincarnation... a Fate Shuzi... No! You can’t possibly be so insignificant nobody!"

Jiang Yi gave a faint smile.

"You’ve had your last al, and we’re done with the idle chit-chat. Ti to send you on your way, Elder!"

His series of psychological blows had thrown Sui Liushu into complete disarray, utterly extinguishing any will to fight to the death.

With a sweep of his Black Shadow Magical Robe’s wide sleeve, the spreading Bing Ding Fire Qi suddenly erupted, enveloping Sui Liushu completely.

The fiery blaze spun like a millstone. With a single, soft grind, the physical body of the Qi Cultivation Ninth Layer master was incinerated into a pile of ash.

Jiang Yi urged his Divine Thought once more. The tendrils of fire, moving as deftly as his own fingers, seized the opportunity to obliterate the wisp of Spiritual Light that had been nurtured within the Primordial Brain God.
