266: Chapter 266 X-9999 266: Chapter 266 X-9999 After sleeping for a very long ti, a man suddenly burst into the research institute.

Not knowing what his purpose was, he rescued her from the pitch-black laboratory.

Thanks to that man, Iyas learned much about the Human World and gradually realized that humans, as a species, were not as simple as she had imagined.

But it was precisely because of this complexity that humans were able to construct such a colorful and diverse world.

Iyas truly enjoyed her days living in the Human World, and over ti, she even forgot her original purpose, until one day, she saw a pair of inseparable siblings, which in a daze, reminded her of everything.

Urging her team on, after many setbacks and continuous efforts, they finally found Hake in a mansion.

However, after so many years, her brother had completely lost hope and had beco a soulless body.

Upon seeing his sister, Hake coldly questioned her, “Why didn’t you co to find sooner, why did it take you so long to co!”

“Hake, listen to , there are deep reasons for this.”

“There’s no need for explanations, I know everything.

It’s all your fault.

If you hadn’t been enticed by the Human World, you could have found sooner, and I wouldn’t have turned out like this.

Just go!

Get away from , I never want to see you again.”

Biting her lip and holding back the regret and unwillingness in her heart, facing her brother whom she hadn’t seen for a long ti, Iyas had no choice but to retreat temporarily, hoping that her brother would forgive her after a few days.

However, a few days later, Iyas heard the news that her brother and the people who had bought him had been buried together in a fire.

Iyas clutched her head as tears uncontrollably slid down her cheeks.

She began to regret why she had gone to find her brother and why she had forgotten the truly important matters while being imrsed in the Human World.

Everything was her fault.

Yang Yu’s dream was a small room.

There wasn’t much furniture inside, and various gas filled this small space.

Sitting alone in front of the computer, Yang Yu held a ga controller, tackling one level after another.

As a Dragon Descendant, he set out on a journey to fight the giant dragon, but along the way, he encountered a rooster carrying a basketball, dancing in mid-air.

He carelessly clicked on it with his mouse, and as a result, the rooster died, and everyone in the village, the city, and even the entire world turned against him, chasing him down to kill him.

As a square man, he dug down to build his own holand but accidentally broke through the Core of the world, causing magma to spew out.

Above the exit, he found a group of green-skinned monsters completely blocking the path.

As a scientist, he was transported to an Otherworld by a Demon, and he had to find food and water to survive in the desolate world.

Even a slight change in his Status could snatch his life away at any mont.

As a One-Ard Ninja, seeking revenge on the Samurai who had cut off his arm, he used his katana to disrupt the enemy’s attack balance over and over.

But the enemy’s assaults were extrely fierce, and in no ti, he was bearing a big “Danger” sign on his head.

One ga after another flowed through Yang Yu’s hands.

Each ga started hellishly, proceeded hellishly, and ended hellishly.

Faced with one scene of Despair after another, Yang Yu didn’t flee but chose to fight bravely until the end, fully imrsing himself in the role, struggling and persisting, not giving in until he saw the coffin; not giving up until he was beaten to the very end.

He improved his skills ti and ti again, tackled the levels he had failed at ti and ti again, putting forth all his focus, not missing any detail, not making any mistakes, and one by one, he cleared the gas.

In the end, the only ga left in his hands was the last one.

It was a white Catman standing on two legs, with level designs similar to the classic Super Mario, except in this world, every step was full of chanisms and traps, and a single careless move could cause sudden death.

This ga didn’t record Death by giving you a fixed number of lives to use up, but instead, with every death, it decreased a number.

Manipulating the ga controller, and to avoid a collapsing path beneath him, Yang Yu moved the white Catman to jump high.

Suddenly, a black bullet shot out from the sky, shattering the character he was controlling into pieces.

The ga screen went black, and on the ga interface the display read[owo X-9999].

This number ant he had died 9999 tis in this ga.

Yang Yu had died more than the display showed; he couldn’t rember how many tis he had failed, as the highest number the ga could show was just 9999.

He had been at the last level for a very long ti.

Every single step in the last level was heart-stopping; one small step forward, and countless traps awaited him, as if the ga’s creator deliberately made it difficult for him, not wanting him to pass.

Yang Yu just made a mark on the paper, noting down the positions of all the chanisms.

The last level was indeed nauseating, but he should be able to find a way through the multitude of traps.

If he exhausted all ans and couldn’t find a way through, Yang Yu planned to pack up his things, stuff the ga into the creator’s crotch, and give it a fierce kick, to let him experience the most unforgettable pain in life, sever all sentintal ties, and make gas seriously.

But if the creator developed so special fetish, wore won’s clothes, and found happiness as a woman, Yang Yu would have nothing to say.

Operating the character, Yang Yu made attempt after attempt, monotonously repeating each action until it was painfully perfect.

However, just before entering the victory point, Yang Yu hit a wall again as his character got blown to pieces.

If it were an ordinary person, they might have given up long ago.

Yang Yu just put down the controller, lay down on the bed, closed his eyes for a good sleep, and then opened his eyes to the mory of every attempt he had made.

He picked up the controller again and maneuvered the white Catman, dodging skillfully.

The traps and chanisms, as if they saw their god, dared only to brush past, not daring to harm the white Catman, who finally reached the finish line safely.

There were no flowers, no applause, only the electronic sound declaring victory.

The curtain had fallen on everything.

So might say that spending so much ti on one level isn’t worth it.

But Yang Yu just wanted to clear the level and did so, and that was all.

Yang Yu felt that as long as he deed it worthwhile, without regretting the ti spent, there’s no need to pay too much attention to the gazes of others.

“Everything is going smoothly; the rest is to dismantle this colossal structure from the inside.”

Raising his head, and Yang Yu made a swipe gesture into the void, seeing the familiar panel appear before him.

A smile spread across his face.
