389: Chapter 389: A Hamr Strike Down 389: Chapter 389: A Hamr Strike Down Lund dragged the teor Hamr step by step toward Iyas, the spiked ball of the hamr scraping the ground.

The hissing sound, accompanied by the clinking of the iron chains, disquieted Iyas’s mind.

Lund Amilod was the chief trainer at the Xidelaistra Slave Auction’s branch, most adept at dealing with disobedient slaves.

It was said that the slaves trained by him all beca as submissive as little dogs, daring not to defy their master’s commands.

Unfortunately, Lund’s harsh training seed to leave so aftereffects on the slaves, causing them to startle and overreact during their service to their masters, which led to more than half of the slaves being returned.

Unless it was so particularly stubborn slaves, the auction house would rather have others handle the training.

Undoubtedly, Lund Amilod was the most vicious presence in this auction house.

Iyas also sensed the dangerous aura emanating from Lund and instantly tensed up, her gaze tightly focused on every move he made.

This man could easily catch arrows flying through the air; his strength was not to be underestimated.

Iyas had thought about escaping through the vents, but she guessed that the other rooms were probably just like this one, filled with formidable opponents.

Entering the vents would rely take her from one hell to another.

As Lund drew closer, Iyas’s tightly drawn hand began to tremble, and the wavering of her heart started to manifest in her body.

“I’ve heard all about you.

You really are sothing, to have finally escaped only to travel all the way here, hoping to rescue your own brother.

Such courage deserves comndation.”

From within the silver Knight Helt, a voice erged, mixed with a deep nasal tone.

Iyas tried to stop the trembling in her hands to aim at Lund, but the sweat seeping from her palms reminded her of the tumult inside her.

The more she tried to suppress the trembling, the more intense it beca.

“Where exactly has my brother been sold?

You’re from here, you should know!”

Lund, his face obscured by the Knight Helt, showed no emotion as he continued to approach with the teor Hamr,

“I’m sorry, I’m only in charge of the training of the slaves.

I don’t know where your brother has been sold.”

As the words fell, Lund swung the teor Hamr towards Iyas.

Iyas leaped backward, released the bowstring, and the arrow flashed with golden light, streaking through the air like a golden teor.

“Deadly Shot” combined with “Hunter Mark,” this was Iyas’s most powerful combo.

As the bow and arrow neared Lund, Lund did not show any intent to dodge.

Instead, he released his right hand from the handle of the teor Hamr and once again intercepted the blade with his bare hand, grabbing and crushing Iyas’s arrows.

“Not bad on the strength.”

Indifferent to the blood flowing from his palm, Lund picked up the teor Hamr that had smashed into the ground and swung it at Iyas once again.

Iyas rolled to the right and dodged Lund’s attack again, but the shattered stones raised by the teor Hamr hit her like bullets, causing a splash of red on her clothes.

It was indeed a dire situation.

Iyas’s attacks couldn’t seem to inflict any effective damage on Lund, while the stones he raised easily hit her body.

Iyas dared not even imagine what it would be like to be hit by that enormous teor Hamr.

Probably one hit would an she could no longer escape from here.

Ironically, the pain spreading through her body actually helped to stop the trembling.

The thought that she would die if she didn’t fight back filled Iyas’s mind, overcoming her fear.

The elf warrior’s instincts once again summoned her courage.

Dragging her injured body, Iyas searched for an opportunity to attack among the desks.

Unfortunately, it seed as though God was playing a joke on her, as the rejuvenated Iyas couldn’t find any flaws in Lund’s defenses.

She could only watch helplessly as Lund vented his frustrations from work by smashing the neat desks into pieces.

He was too strong, Lund’s Strength was simply overwhelming.

Iyas couldn’t help but wonder, could she really defeat an enemy like Lund?

Suddenly, the image of that man flashed through Iyas’s mind again.

Would the situation be completely different if it were Yang Yu here instead of her?

No sooner had this thought occurred than Lund swung his hamr again, forcing Iyas to hurriedly dodge and hide in the back row, where there were a multitude of seats.

Unknown to her, the teor Hamr smashed the row of desks and chairs, creating a large pit on the floor, sending wood chips flying like sharp little knives that sliced open Iyas’s thigh, causing a massive outpouring of blood.

Pulling the iron chain, Lund swung his teor Hamr, feeling no need to exert full strength against this Slave in front of him.

Now, Lund appeared like a cat that had fed and then caught a mouse, wanting to toy thoroughly with his prey.

Of course, he wouldn’t let his prey escape; if Iyas tried to flee through the passage, he would throw his teor Hamr imdiately to completely shatter her hope.

Drawing the bowstring, Iyas shot a Light Arrow, only to be effortlessly dissolved by Lund.

Ignoring the stabbing pain from her wound, Iyas dragged her battered body and ran, continuing to use desks and torture devices for cover, attempting to attack.

But the disparity in strength between them was too great, and no matter how many tis she tried, Iyas’s attacks were always entirely blocked by Lund, not causing him any harm at all.

Despair spread through Iyas’s heart.

It felt as though no matter what she did, she couldn’t escape the fate of being captured and made a Slave.

Was there really no way out?

As she moved, the pain from her wounds increased.

If she didn’t stop to tend to her wounds, they could completely debilitate her.

But Iyas couldn’t find even a mont to catch her breath; every ti she showed signs of stopping, Lund’s teor Hamr would follow swiftly.

“If it were that guy, what would he do in this dire situation?

Even with a huge disparity in strength, he would surely find a strategy to safely escape…

Would it really be so?”

mories from the past surfaced in Iyas’s mind; faced with strong opponents, Yang Yu never intended to fight them.

When facing the Red Blood Rose, Yang Yu calmly made decisions, and seeing soone completely unbeatable, he simply raised his hands, showing no intention of helping her at all.

As Bai Jin said, up until now, the reason Yang Yu seed invincible was simply because he only chose opponents within his range of capabilities.

The secret to constant victory wasn’t about fighting bravely but about how to stay unbeaten.

Such a simple principle, Yang Yu had once taught her, yet she had so easily forgotten it.
