The plan hadn’t even started before it was over.
Because of the unexpected fire wall, Yang Yu and the team were completely separated.
“This floor is much trickier than I’d imagined.”
Yang Yu scratched his head; he hadn’t anticipated that the Underground Maze wouldn’t even give him the chance to conduct a carpet-style search to map it out.
However, Yang Yu could understand such a design.
If it were as easy as before, where just having enough people would allow them to try out every possibility and easily find the exit, then what would be the test of courage?
Every ti soone left the team, a Fla would follow and beco a fire wall, and Yang Yu had co to understand this.
Looking at Yang Yu, who was now alone on the other side of the flas, Bai Jin was anxious, wanting to summon Magic Power to clear the fire wall, but still unable to summon even a bit of magic.

“?” Iyas pointed at herself in disbelief, and quickly tried to refuse, “No, I can’t. Like I said, my luck isn’t nearly as good as you think it is.
I’m only a bit better than the average person at most. If I choose, we might end up in a dead end.”
Iyas hurriedly waved her hands in refusal, but after Yang Yu’s continued persuasion, she eventually had to accept his proposal, making decisions in place of the less fortunate him.
The heavy pressure of leading the team into a dead end and to their doom weighed on the delicate shoulders of Iyas; she kept breathing in and out on the spot, trying to calm herself.

Sohow, the nervousness in Iyas’s heart dissipated completely, as she lifted her hand to guide the entire team. After half an hour of navigating, Yang Yu and his team finally… were led by Iyas into a dead end.
Iyas clasped her hands together with tears in her eyes, frantically apologizing to everyone around her, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I didn’t know it would turn out like this.”
On the other side of the flas, Yang Yu sighed, “Iyas, I told you to choose based on your intuition.”
“I did choose based on my intuition, and that’s how we ended up in this dead end. What now?”
Iyas anxiously looked at the flas in front and behind her. The blazing fire burned intensely, and rely looking at it was unbearably hot. It wasn’t hard to imagine being roasted like a suckling pig if they tried to go through the fire wall.

Bai Jin watched Yang Yu nervously, but no matter how many tis she tried, she couldn’t summon a trace of Magic Power and could only watch helplessly as Yang Yu placed his hand into the scorching blaze.
After a while, Yang Yu nonchalantly pulled his hand out of the fire, and blew on it by his mouth,
“It’s real fla. Wait for a mont. I’ll think of a solution.”
Yang Yu had barely turned around before he brought his hand to his mouth and started to blow on it frantically.
Damn, it hurts so much, if I don’t hurry up, my hand will be ready to dip in sauce.
Although not much blood was lost, it was still damn painful.
I should have known better than to try to act tough.
Pulling out burn dicine from the System, Yang Yu discreetly gulped it down.
After the burns on his hand had healed, Yang Yu took out a dry powder fire extinguisher from the System, tore off the lead seal, pulled out the safety pin, pressed down on the handle with one hand, lifted the extinguisher, and grabbed the nozzle with the other hand. A cloud of white powder shot out from the extinguisher, instantly snuffing out the flas before him.
Everyone was stunned. Could it really be done like this?
But before the others could react, Yang Yu had also extinguished the wall of flas behind them.
The purpose of this floor was to test one’s courage.

Behind them, a small fla reignited, forming a new wall of fire.
Choosing a new path, Yang Yu and his team extinguished the fire behind them several more tis.
Finally, another wall of fire, identical to the one at the entrance, appeared in their sight.
Yang Yu rcilessly used the fire extinguisher to put out the flas, and behind that wall of fire was the staircase leading to the Fifth Floor.
The voice of the Maze Guardian rang out again by Yang Yu’s ear,
“Congratulations on passing this test. The designer of this test probably didn’t expect you to pass this floor in such a way.”
Covering his slightly stinging hands, Yang Yu said with a smile, “It was easier than I expected.”
“With that thing in your hands, of course, you’d say that. This era really has co up with so interesting things.”
“Tell , is the design here ant for one to pass through the fire wall several tis to beco immune to the flas, or does one need to possess true courage to pass?”
“As you can see, the flas here are not fake, but real flas that can sear soone’s skin. Every single fla here is real. Passing through it would result in injury.”
