They didn't take long, once eting on the plains, to return to the palace gifted to them in the capital. Thanks to the events of the other day, Empress Aurelia quickly replaced the guardsn and fired those who the church bought out.

"I see... are you going to make us create groups before you choose?" Alice asked, her mouth covered in cake as she chewed another cream tart.

"What?!" Yuina's face looked shocked as she stood up, her tail swelling with erect fur.

"Why?" Liana's seductive voice echoed as she clung to his neck.

Many of the other won also complained and looked wronged. But Asmodeus didn't fall for it this ti and instead narrowed his eyes.

"The enemy's goal this ti is to weaken the empire and . They will seek my body, so if we keep everyone near , the enemy can prepare and be ready for it."

Slowly, he explained his reasoning.

"If you are all split up, they will need to divide their forces and won't be able to surround and crush us easily."

"I understand that, but what if they..." Vinea's deep voice interrupted as he was about to continue.

Asmodeus reached out and stroked her soft hair, his lips curled into a smile. "Are you worried I will get hurt?" His voice caused not only Vinea but most of the won to nod. The only ones who seed convinced were Sariel and Lumina, who trusted his words.

- Group one: Alice, Vinea, Ciela and Sariel with six demon knights.

- Group two: Liana, Velvet, Levia and seven demon knights

- Group three: Yuina, Aki, Lumina, Fuuka and six demon knights

- Group four: A mixed group of Fredricka and the demon knights.

Asmodeus then looked at the won—so of them seed upset with this arrangent. Then he smiled at Yuina, who noticed he had selected none of her troops for the groups.

"As for the shrine maidens of the Inukami, their duty will be to protect our escape route and remain on the events grounds, not as hunters but hidden as guests."

"May I ask why?" Yuina felt curious, but Asmodeus smiled and nodded.

"Because Erika and Yumiko will not be part of this plan, they are who we will dedicate our hunting gains to."

He then turned to Alice, Velvet and the other won one by one, who seed to understand his reasoning. "If the minions of phisto attack. We will have the remaining shrine maidens and demon knights protecting Yumiko and Erika."

Yuina and Aki could only beco stunned at Asmodeus leaving with Liana so easily.
