Asmodeus didn’t like to stretch things out.
The mont he felt the vibration of Axiom in his hands, his soul scread for violence, indulgence and lust. This was it! This was him and everything he stood for. With a sudden boom, his body shot towards the ground like a falling teor while flapping his wings rapidly, boosting his speed.
"Hahahaha!"
His laughter spread the mont he reached ten tres of the slis; their bodies jiggled and sprayed countless magic spears at him.
"Useless!"
Asmodeus slowed.
Then swung his halberd.
Deng!
With an eruption of sheer force, his halberd destroyed the spells, leaving a puff of smoke! The black and white letters across the edge and shaft shimred, devouring all mana and portions of divine and abyssal energies.
He glanced at the three slis and then smiled.
The upper body of the leading Sli vanished with a C-shaped hole.
Not only that, but the entire surroundings appeared to have shifted slightly, a huge wave of force cutting dozens of trees and the makeshift towers in half. ’I got too excited. Maybe I should have controlled my force a little.’
Asmodeus landed a few tres from the slis, curious about what would happen. He twirled his spear while approaching with slow, casual steps.
Under his scrutinising gaze, dozens of black tentacles spread from the wounded Sli with small mouths at the end, pierced towards the other slis and impaled them.
"Wow!"
A disgustingly loud slurping noise echoed, as the leading Sli devoured the others, without rcy and even when the other two slis let out a strange screech as if begging the leading Sli to stop.
Its destroyed abdon slowly plumped up with the black Sli growing once again, reaching the sa height as Asmodeus, while the other two withered. Two small black orbs covered in cracks hovered in the air for a second before they both shattered.
’Those resemble the Divine core.’
’Did soone try to create an artificial core?’
Asmodeus rembered that he’d also tried this kind of experint, but ultimately failed until he gained the power of mana, divinity, the abyss and death. Only with all forms of power could he create a makeshift core, or help his wives reinforce theirs.
’Not everyone’s cores are without damage after living a mortal life after all...’
The large black Sli didn’t seem to care; it created a black lance of Sli and twirled it, mimicking Asmodeus.
"...."
The Sli watched Asmodeus.
Despite having no face, sohow, he could feel its gaze burning into him as if he had done sothing unforgivable to it.
’Creepy.’
Since ti wasn’t on his side, Asmodeus closed his eyes for a mont. This was the activation thod for his domain. His skin flickered with a golden light for a brief mont before he stepped forward.
Step!
Step!
He gathered montum with each step.
His speed increased into a full charge as he rushed at the Sli.
With the flick of his wrist, he cut across the air, from lower left to upper right, cleaving through the air, with a howling blow.
Vwoom!
Asmodeus watched the Sli’s movent with eyes like a hawk.
The mont he attacked, the Sli hastily thrust its spear with a killing blow aid at penetrating his throat. But. His halberd easily tore through the rubbery black Sli with its clean, white arc of light, hissing.
"!?"
After the first attack, Asmodeus hopped back, looking at the faintly glowing runes along the edge of his halberd.
There was a strange but familiar feeling.
’This is just like when I sleep with my wives, sohow a part of my divinity seeps into them and theirs into ...’
’No! It’s like slowly absorbing the divine energies from the world.’
’Or when you devour Abyssal energy from the dead.’
His three thoughts ca up with unique examples, from the lust-filled dual cultivation with his wives, to the violent slaughter of Abyssal fiends or the natural thod of gathering divine aura from the surrounding world.
’Shh, let focus on the fight. Let’s deal with the theory later.’
Asmodeus lifted his left hand before making hand signs.
An ember of fire sparked around him, then the ground shook, and soon, a giant magic circle appeared. Thanks to his enhanced speed and the slowing effect on the Sli, he could take his ti.
’I’m counting on you, Magic Role!’
With the spell ready, he tightly gripped his halberd in both hands.
Soon, a beautiful black, red and golden fla spread across the surface of his halberd, the mixture of three energies to create a weapon enchantnt that could resist all types of defence.
If the enemy could absorb or reflect holy, it used demonic or abyssal.
If the enemy could resist abyssal, it used holy or demonic.
If the enemy could resist multiple types, it used a unique elent.
Divine Death.
A mixture of Death, Demon, Divine and Abyssal.
This was an elent and magic usable only by the Demon God, Asmodeus. But even he struggled to adjust the power and switch the elents on the fly. Thanks to his parallel thought, the Asmodeus in charge of magic dealt with that stuff.
’Wouldn’t it be good to use this with your Domain?’
A fleeting voice muttered, but Asmodeus had already launched himself at the Sli while laughing like a maniac.
Deng!
Swish!
Bubble!
Without care for his body, Asmodeus cleaved, stabbed and slamd the Sli with relative ease, the beautiful fla alternating between white, black and purple.
He tore through the black Sli like tofu.
The Sli tried to resist, but with each blow, Asmodeus devoured a bit more of the monster’s abyssal energy. As a creature created from nothing but this energy, it could be called its life force.
Asmodeus lifted his halberd, the surface flickering with purple embers.
"Die!"
Before he could strike, the Sli suddenly wobbled, and while it transford form, Asmodeus couldn’t help but gasp.
Asmodea, Vinea, Velvet, Serena, Lumina... This beast took the form of his wives, one by one, which gave a vital clue and told Asmodeus that the creator of this monster knew him and his family and important people.
However, the mont his anger reached boiling point was when the smile shrank and took the form of soone it never should have.
His daughters!
The first was Seris, the Sli’s deford mouth sickeningly calling him "daddy."
Asmodeus clenched his jaw, watching the monstrosity taking the form of his daughters, Selphira, Aranya, Ophelia, Luthiel and Miris.
The mont he saw the fluffy tails of Aurelia and Velmina, his anger grew further, but he couldn’t kill it yet, because the more it transford, the more realistic the Sli beca.
No longer black sludge, it could copy the skin tone, the voice and even the characteristics of the people it copied.
Then it mimicked Nyxielle and held both arms up at him.
"Papa, I miss you."
’Ah...’
He never planned to have a favourite child, because he was an only child, he enjoyed the unlimited love of his mother and knowing that feeling, Asmodeus wanted all his children to enjoy that feeling.
This was why all children shared mothers.
No one could fight in front of the children or suffer consequences.
Friendly competition was ok, of course.
But this Sli took the form of Nyxielle, tugging at his heartstrings.
Asmodeus stepped forward, his spear lowered as he approached the Sli. The cute little smile, her dark violet curls and the black eyes like Velvet... in reality of his wives, Velvet held a deep impression on him.
Despite becoming a demon, through her sheer devotion to the mont they beca one, she manifested the dragon blood in her veins from that one night in the mana enrichnt pool and evolved into one.
So he adored and admired her deeply.
Maybe he just had a thing for dark hair, pale skin and scales, though.
’And she can squat six tis in a second...’
He thought about how amazing Velvet was when he let her sit on top of him.
’Do you want to take over?’ The Asmodeus with zero emotional intelligence and emotions, who usually just did research in silence, spoke out in his mind.
However, he ignored the interference and stepped closer.
Step!
Step!
There was a subtle hiss as Asmodeus approached. It seed the Sli’s ability to copy Nyxielle gradually failed. Her lips drooped, and the skin of her eyes slipped, creating a distorted face.
Yet Asmodeus reached closer, his eyes slowly closing.
"!!"
The Sli’s distorted lips twisted into an eerie smirk as both its arms split apart, transforming into sharp blades.
But Asmodeus just placed his hand in front of its face. He looked down at the fake Nyxielle, his eyes empty and cold, and a magic circle drawn with blood dripped down the surface of his palm.
"Obliterate." The activation spell normally cast by the Magic Charge sent a euphoric wave through his body, creating vibrations through the air as a small black and red fla appeared.
VWOOM!
After the two flas touched.
The flas collapsed inward, black and red spiralling into a soundless point.
Then a massive explosion detonated from his palm.
BOOM!
The shockwave erased everything in front of him. Light warped with the distorted scream of the world. This magic wasn’t sothing Asmodeus could use casually; it was the pinnacle of his current power.
Instantly, the false body was unmade down to its borrowed flesh, scattered as incandescent ash and the dying motes of abyssal dregs.
When the radiance faded, there was nothing left.
No sli, no sound, only him.
Asmodeus stood amid the scorched earth, his hand still raised.
He exhaled slowly.
Despite knowing it wasn’t here, there was a heavy yet crushing pressure that lingered as he pictured her bright smile. The only benefit was that he discovered where and what the Sli was upon devouring its essence completely.
He looked up at the sky and shouted.
"So, it was you. Crystal Bastard!"
