Nerim hugged Asmodeus one last ti before she climbed out of the seat.
Then fleetingly cast a glance back with a hand on her abdon before i ushered her away. Asmodeus drew a long breath, steadying his emotions. If he were like this, then he couldn’t help but believe this news must have been a great shock and delight for her, too.
"What are we doing next?"
The dragon asked with embers flashing from her nose.
He just looked at her with a vile smirk while rubbing his hands together like so kind of evil rchant about to do an illegal deal.
"What do you think? Go stand on that stage, and transform!"
Asmodeus’s heart stayed in countless places, Serena fighting at the entrance, and Nerim heading to the normal seating area.
Then his desire to fight the imnsely powerful Abyssal beneath them and win. After awakening Axiom, the slight tremors beneath the earth from its movents beca clearer, along with the puzzle of its powers revealed itself.
Vwoom!
Valena’s dragon form carried a mysterious and strange air, as if she weren’t a pure dragon but sothing else snuck into her gene pool.
Sharp, blood red scales. A delicate, well-shaped snout which complented her scaled maw perfectly, a plump, but not disproportionately fat body of pure muscle with four enormous but well-ford, sharp red wings.
The novels Asmodeus used to read always tried to complent the eastern style of dragon, but when faced with a true, western dragon, they were nothing but snakes with an inflated ego, barely dragons at all.
"You’re quite big!" He snickered, patting her scaled belly.
"ROAR!"
Valena raised her snout into the air, letting out a piercing roar which smashed the surrounding crystals, blocking off the various VIP custors. He couldn’t tell if she was excited or upset. He called her big and stroked her belly, and won could be quite irrational like that.
Asmodeus glanced at his hands in curiosity.
The mont she let out the roar, he could feel Valena’s presence grow within himself, as if her scent and taste suddenly spread in his mouth and nose... it was a strange experience that carried a rather erotic aftertaste.
He watched her face, noticing the dragon’s strange expression, assuming she felt sothing similar when she borrowed his powers.
"Oh, that’s quite powerful. I wonder if this is the power acquired from sharing our powers."
"Hmph!"
"I know you can talk in this form, why act shy?"
"Quiet, let’s go!"
"Ah, you’re right... But first, let’s take care of these idiots."
On the stage surrounding them, seven won in strange leather bondage gear descended from strange wires, each of them holding a spear. ’Funf ntioned the watchn created from unfortunate won who fell into debt.’ But Asmodeus didn’t care about these won; it was just that "unfortunate" at best.
"Do you need help, human?"
"Am I a human in your eyes?!" Asmodeus feigned shock before twirling Axiom. "Sit there and watch your master little dragon. Be in awe at my unmatched strength and handsoness."
Asmodeus placed a hand to his chest, feeling the abnormal palpitations of his multiple hearts.
’Focus, rember, adjust.’
He chanted in his mind, trying to adjust and feel the strange phenonon Valena just created. As if gently grasping strands of draconic energy and drawing them into his body, gathering them into a bundle.
Then he wrapped those threads around his body.
"Oh?!"
His throat sounded, as the untad, fiery threads carrying a unique heat that reminded him of Valena spread through his flesh, muscle and skin.
The peculiar feeling overwheld him again.
Softly stroking every inch of his body, caressing and massaging his muscles with her warm hands. Yet, that wasn’t the true shocking occurrence...
Crack!
The black hide covering his body cracked with thin slits, and a bizarre pain assaulted his flesh, as countless blood-red scales pushed through the broken hide, before affixing themselves to the hide itself, creating a unique red and black armour.
"Heh, it seems you’re not worthless. Valena."
"????"
Asmodeus ignored the dragon’s reaction; he walked towards the bondage sisters with Axiom over his shoulder. "Spear versus halberd, huh. What a good warm-up."
He sprang at the first woman with such explosive speed that her reaction was to thrust recklessly towards his abdon, and another followed up from behind with a deadly attack aid at his throat.
As the world decelerated, Asmodeus flicked his halberd off his shoulder with pure muscle, then, holding the shaft, brought it down across the woman’s body. From shoulder to left, his beautiful blade cleaved spear and person in one.
"Ngh..."
The mont his leading foot landed, he spun on the spot, rolling the halberd around his waist, cutting the second woman’s body from armpit to armpit.
"Argh?!"
Twirling the halberd with his fingers, displaying his imnse strength and dexterity, he held out another hand to the remaining won.
"Co on." Then beckoned them to fight.
His lips unconsciously curled into a wicked, villainous smile whenever fighting. So the image of him cleaving two won in half brought a rather evil atmosphere, rather than a hero fighting to save the day.
All five of the won rushed at once, nothing like those fights where they co one at a ti, five won, five spears. Their motions were like a series of mannequins in perfect synchronisation as their sharp tips aid at five different lethal spots.
’I see...’
Asmodeus watched them moving at half speed, his eyes scanned each woman’s posture, muscles and gaze. He took a step back, spreading his stance wide, while holding the halberd with both hands, pulling back in an arc.
He tried to force the draconic energy out, clenching his jaw as he tightened his muscles, as if to squeeze it out. The action created the tiniest of embers at the tip of his halberd, prompting Asmodeus to push harder.
A sharp pain followed from his organs wobbling with an uncomfortable tremor.
However, the tinge of fire grew more and more, flas amassing along the shaft of his halberd as if dancing, while the blade shone bright red. It took twelve seconds to form a ferocious dragon ford of flas, which enveloped Axiom.
Ten seconds, far too slow.
At least in a battle between equals.
But with these poor won who didn’t even realise they’d already died, it ant nothing.
"Rest in peace."
Asmodeus loosened his grip before swinging in a brutal arc.
The mont before his halberd hit the first woman, he tightened his grip and boosted the power. He tightened his abdominal muscles and grounded himself while throwing all his force into the attack.
Vwoosh!
An arc of fla exploded upon contact, the low roar of a dragon audible as if devouring the won’s pained screams as they died almost instantly.
The flas devoured the won in less than three seconds, all their powers absorbed into Axiom, then distributed to Asmodeus, Valena and i, with Asmodeus gaining the largest amount and i the lowest.
’I see...’
Asmodeus could sense it. The connection between himself and the two won was different from his connection to his wives. A little deeper and more profound, but the transfer of energy was clear to see.
"Phew, Valena, shall we head to the real target now?"
"Mm, I hope you’ll allow to kill that little dwarf in the end... after all."
"I know." Asmodeus hopped onto Valena’s neck. The mont he landed, his feet glued to her scales like a magnet. "What he did to your mother."
"Hmph."
Valena’s wings flapped once, creating a sonic boom as they took flight. Most of the normal visitors now began their panic. The three won on the stage also glanced at the flying beast with a panicked expression.
"Strange."
"What?" The dragon asked.
"Where did the VIP clients go? Quite a few of those guys were really strong."
The dragon didn’t answer, likely not knowing, she flapped her wings as the pair shot through the underground cavern, flying away from the crowd and towards the twisted green crystal at the centre of the cave.
The flight was aweso.
Asmodeus stood with his hair blowing behind his back, his arms crossed like so kind of epic warlord. He focused on a single spot with golden eyes; this was the place he believed the abyssal’s lair truly opened up.
There wasn’t any sign of Grundig, no matter how much he scanned the area, and although rushing out to help Serena might be what his heart desired.
However, letting them storm into this cavern with the master still alive was foolish.
"Valena, don’t let your guard down for a second."
His warning bounced off the shrinking walls covered in stalactites and stalagmites as if the jaws of a beast were closing around them.
In turn, his golden brilliance wrapped their bodies, slowing their sense of ti, inside the domain of space. Asmodeus believed that his Ti domain would be of great use. The only issue was that the cowardly abyssal wouldn’t show itself.
"Master, you seem troubled."
Suddenly, Valena’s soft human voice resounded inside his mind.
’Ah... I can’t get him to co out and face us.’
"Keke, have you forgotten who I am?! I will drag him out for you."
The dragon’s confident voice followed, before the huge dragon at his feet suddenly took a deep breath and cocked its head back.
Valena’s thod of dragging him out beca clear almost instantly!
"W-Wait!"
BOOOOM!
A massive wave of flas spewed from her maw as she perford a dragon’s breath. The flas shimred with a familiar aura. A mont later, Asmodeus gripped his stomach, his face scrunched up as he vomited blood.
"Y...You woman..." He breathlessly spoke.
"What? You needed to find him and look. There he is!"
"Tsk, you were just lucky. Next ti you use my Death Energy to the limit..."
"Kekekekeke!"
The gleeful dragon burped flas as she giggled.
Ahead of them, the source of corruption and the true master of the auction appeared.
