Razel scrunched his face at Serena’s provocation, his beard lifting with a frown. He glared back at her without saying a word, then suddenly... he sighed and cald himself. The next mont, he offered her his hand.
"Look, Luna, no matter what kind of confidence you have to co out of hiding, after betraying us, but surely you rember, right?" He curled the corners of his lips, sneering at her. "You cannot defeat , no matter how hard you try."
Serena’s pupils trembled as she spread her arms to keep Nerim and the others safe.
"This isn’t the sa situation, Razel. I don’t know about you, but since we parted ways and I t Asmodeus, I can confidently say I’ve beco far stronger than ever before."
"Cut it, I can feel your limits."

Her lips curved, knowing that thanks to her husband’s unique traits and abilities, this balding dwarf couldn’t see her full power.
However, Razel didn’t lie; she hadn’t won once in the past.
His powers directly interfered with hers, and while inside Kroyst’s lair, she didn’t dare rush to her death. That left her in a difficult situation; she glanced back at the two dwarves and other people shivering in terror from the aura of her and Razel.
"Nerim."
"Y-Yes?!"
Nerim’s shoulders shook when Serena called out to her, the beautiful rmaid still nervous when it ca to Asmodeus’s wives. Especially his main wife and empress, whose body blasted out an aura more than triple hers constantly, like it was nothing.
"Can you take them and flee through the exit?"
"Eh?!"
Serena’s eyes narrowed like a playful fox who found a delightful toy, ’such a good girl, her emotions are so clear and honest.’ "Don’t worry, I will hold this damn fiend here until Asmodeus returns and helps ." She then glanced at the others, with Nerim following her gaze. "With these people here, how can I unleash my powers?"
The rmaid’s eyes widened as she nodded profusely. "Yes, Ma’am!"
"Big sister is fine, you little cutie pie."
The rmaid’s scales colour beca deeper as she quickly turned to face Lun and Logan, "Logan, Lun, although you might want to fight against your uncle. I don’t think that’s him anymore... do you understand? We have to leave, this isn’t our fight."
"Oh, did you think I’d let them just leave, Luna... don’t be foolish."
"Shut it!"
Luna’s body flickered before appearing above the dwarf’s head, her sharp claws creating black arcs of magic as she raked the air like a feral beast.
"Foolish girl."
Razel’s eyes flared brightly as he opened his mouth wide and spat a jet of golden flas at Serena’s face. Instantly, she crossed her face with both claws and teleported back, tapping the ground as she adjusted her posture.
Steam hissed from the exoskeletal armour protecting her arms.
’Damn it!’
"Oh, what an interesting new form you’ve taken. Where did you learn such an ability, Luna? Was it when you killed our sister, or maybe when you beca the dog of that filthy hypocrite above... or maybe... It’s that little lover of yours?"
"Peh!" She spat on the floor, lifting her ten tails in the air, and showing her fangs.
"Well... co to think of it, he uses a black exoskeleton, haha, a couple look?"
"Like I’d tell you, filthy coward!"
Until this point, he remained calm, without a sign of anger. However, suddenly intense flas exploded from his body as he slamd his arms down.
"But... how dare you... you... a filthy... inferior bitch from the slums dare to call a coward!"

Serena’s chest tightened; her past was sothing she’d sealed for millennia, a ti before she beca a goddess, before coming to this world. A mber of an inferior clan of Kitsune, in a world where only those with golden fur were worshipped... she couldn’t be like the Kogetsu bloodline, who ruled over their lands.
Forced to escape to the mainland, where she worked for the foul vampire and werewolf clans hunting other monsters in the Nexus before being drawn to this world.
"Heh, I’d rather be a dirty, inferior fox than a pathetic loser who lost to his brother and fled like a little boy."
The intense flas created a natural shroud for Nerim and the others to escape. Serena focused every sense on the footsteps and movents of the people running away.
She couldn’t beco emotional, nor let his goading affect her.
"I know you want to help those inferior things live, Luna."
Razel’s voice ca from behind her, yet she could have sworn he hadn’t moved.
’How did he move so fast?!’
Serena teleported several tis in succession, her body tearing through the flas, which licked and seared her exoskeleton, lting the surface rapidly.
She travelled fifty tres in the blink of an eye to find Razel sitting on a stone, overlooking the people who tried to escape, with Nerim lying on the floor, her beautiful face and arm smoking as if soone tossed scalding water on her face.
"What did you do?!"
Her figure launched at Razel, ripping his fals into small embers as she clawed at the air, and shot energy beams of black light from her tails.
Vwoom!
Razel’s eyes widened as he jumped off the stone that was instantly disintegrated. His jaw dropped the mont he landed, observing her attack with a strange sense of admiration.
"Another new trick, amazing."
"Razel, what did you do to her?!"
’Asmodeus, hurry... I cannot use my full power!’
The golden glow around Razel’s body flickered as he vanished from sight once again.
However, this ti, Serena’s body shifted, moving more slowly than usual, ’He’s coming!’ Then threw a roundhouse kick to her side with all her force.
Bang!
The mont her blow landed, Razel’s bewildered face reappeared within a flicker of flas, his arms blocking his throat. "Y-You?! How did you move?"
Serena’s heart pounded faster as her lips uncontrolably curved into a twisted smile. ’After all, my husband is the best!’ She could never have guessed his powers in the past. Yet, thanks to Asmodeus’s ssage earlier, she learned it was related to ti.
"Heh, do you think you’re the only one who can affect ti?!"
"Lies, you can only affect the darkness!"
Razel’s pupils shrank as he clenched his fists and pulled in his elbows. He appeared far angrier than she’d seen through his domain, than the insults she used earlier.
But this worked out for her.
The angrier he was, the less likely he’d notice the others escaping.
"Hurry, take her and go!"
Serena’s form twisted, her front arms deford, becoming larger and more animalistic as she leaned forward on all fours, her figure exploded. Her height and length expanded as she transford into a large black fox with blood-red eyes and ten fluffy black tails with golden bangles shaped like the moon tied to the tips.
Her black fur beca sharp, like blades, as sharp, twisted horns burst through her delicately shaped skull, while red runes, written in demonic language, covered her fur as her transformation ca to an end.
"So you’re serious about this, Luna!"
"Of course I am!"
Razel’s skin instantly lted. It dripped away, replaced by flas in the shape of Grundig. His figure grew several feet before reaching two tres tall, his thick limbs bulging as he smashed the cave ground with his hoofed feet.
The dwarf’s face deford, becoming sothing akin to a minotaur, with two large horns with a golden ring fastened to the tips.
His fur, body and existence made of pure fla.
"Ahhh~ so nostalgic, to take my true form, alas, how many years has it been?"
From the mont he transford, his anger and emotions appeared to vanish, masked by this false sense of calm and happiness. He looked down at Serena, who growled back, her posture low as if ready to attack.
"Don’t you think it’s rather uncool to suddenly fight, when we’ve not spoken in millennia?"
"Save it, you hypocrite!"
"? I am the one who stopped those filthy gods from wiping us out in their little gas! How dare you insult ?"
"Pussy."
BOOM!
A jet of flas shot towards Serena, the pillar of fla instantly engulfing where she stood, as Razel punched the air.
"Die!"
Serena stood on the rocky outcrop above, her shadowy aura half missing as it steadily regenerated. She teleported the instant the temperature spiked, but still couldn’t avoid taking heavy damage.

She curled her tails, forming a do, with ten tips placed together as she lowered her body, gathering energy. A low quake in the air grew as black beads expanded at the tips of her tails. This attack was sothing she created after watching Asmodeus.
"Where the hell are you?! LUNA!"
Flas exploded randomly, burning, lting the rocks into a molten hell scape. He didn’t hold back, his aura’s imnsity causing the air to tingle against Serena’s fur.
But as the raging minotaur turned towards her direction.
A glint of purple light flashed.
