As I finally adjourned our eting, I was actually surprised that no one spoke up in a way to justify their behavior and that was just a huge plus in my book.
If sohow they thought of getting slick with or blaming us for their actions, I would've taken more than their privileged items and made them literally start from scratch because I'd rather spend more ti doing anything else, ANYTHING else than solving dostic issues.
While it's true that I had other people to do this job for —which should've been done in the first place—these people we took in fear and respected at the sa ti, more than anyone else in this place, so doing this in front of everyone was more effective than dealing with it within closed doors and/or handled either by Marisha or Oscar.
So yeah, the ones involved decided to stay back with the ones aggrieved to say their piece and apologize but they should know pretty well that words were just words and their actions starting tomorrow would make the biggest impact.
Other than that, Mikhail and Alexei, who were shot by Alexander last ti were already able to attend the eting, except for Alexander, of course, so while they were chatting amongst their comrades, I decided to drop in for a quick chat:
"Yo."
Mikhail was the first one to acknowledge :
"'Sup, weeb."
"'Sup, normie."
"Heh, I'm sad. I thought you'd visit us the mont you get here."
I joked, "What? You're not that important, the fuck would I visit you?"
Alexei cackled but grimaced once he felt his gunshot wound ache, "F-Fuck, that caught off-guard—" then he turned to Mikhail, "I really gotta have what you're eating, you're barely feeling it, you should've been discharged a few days ago!" then he turned to again, "Shouldn't this guy be on the list of the lazy bums you—"
Mikhail cut him off, "Eat so shit, bro! I'm just doing a good job of enduring it."
Alexei rolled his eyes, "A good job of hiding it from his other girl!"
"Shut up, dude! Mimi's just nice, we're friends and I don't want her to take the trouble visiting again and again. Besides, I wouldn't want to step on so toes." then he turned to Alexei, "At least you and Vera are back again. I thought she'd leave you for him, only a few people could resist his charms."
I waved him off as I turned to Alexie, "About that—"
Alexei shook his head, "No harm, no foul. We're still working things out but my girl in Cuervo Heights is fucking pissed. She thought I'd marry her, she forgot I was just you know… looking for a fling."
I chuckled, "Alrighty, then…" then I turned to Mikhail, "Jesicca's been asking about you though. You guys talked?"
Mikhail was pleasantly surprised, "She did? Fuck, I got her contact info but never bothered— But before that, have you— you know? I don't care either way because my dick's bigger than yours but… I have to fucking know, alright?"
I put my hands up as I chuckled at that other remark, "Fair, we did have so interaction but it's not serious. She was just looking for sothing to feel."
Mikhail sighed, "Fair, fair."
Alexei rolled his eyes, "You still bumd about that giantess? Quinn was it? She's the De Leon Family's vice president, right?"
Mikhail let out a bigger sigh, "That ship sailed the mont I fumbled when we t. *points at * He did try to help but she chose him instead. Would've been perfect but I guess I'll try with Jessica again, if not, I'm just going back to Gina once we sail back to Batangas."
I nodded, "Alright, I hate to ask but don't take it as in a hurry but what's the ETA on you recovering? *looks at Alexei* You as well?"
"? I didn't get hit in the torso like Alexei so I'm good in a few days— Will be fucking glad to be in training as well."
Alexei followed, "Doctor said maybe a week or two for , why'd you ask?"
"Well, we're a solid group together but you notice bringing the younger ones with us, right? All of them are following the training regin we gave them every step of the way but I think there should be a ti when we make them leave their comfort zones and push them to their limit—maybe even close… no, past their breaking points.
They're doing great as is but… I don't wanna compare my experiences to all of you but we have sothing that they don't…"
"Uh-huh… Don't kid yourself, you've been through shit too and you're— no, that's prolly why you're kinda psycho."
Alexei nodded so fucking hard, "True. Rember when I got you that ti and you fucking moaned? You must've been through hell and back to think of that shit—"
Mikhail facepald, "Don't remind of that shit, dude… He completely wiped the floor with us…"
I waved them off, "I appreciate the vote of confidence, I do, but there's still a difference, alright? And no, you haven't got , you almost got , there's a difference there too."
"Fine, fine…"
"So, what are you saying again?"
"Hell Week. I've already teased it with them but I haven't thought it through or have the exact date. I'll need all your help if you could, even your inputs are okay."
Mikhail nodded, "If you want them to have an experience against a bigger guy, I'm in."
Alexei was a little unsure, "To be honest, sniping's more math but sotis instinct cos into play. It also involves ntal fortitude if we decide to put them out there for several days without moving but it should be a different thing from Hell Week altogether."
"Hmm~ I guess that's true. It's maybe specialization training too."
"Yeah, that. And do understand not everyone could do what you're doing."
"But that doesn't an they can't improve on their weaknesses, right?"
"Uh, sure, yeah."
"Alright then, everyone's waiting for . Get well soon, alright?"
On that note, everyone else living with made our way back to the compound and then to my house to check off our daily workout and perform needed checks and maintenance for our gear.
Hell Week was a thing to consider more thoroughly and I needed to plan it with Oscar, Tatiana, Johnny, and a few others I thought from the top of my head.
'Maybe Artem, Kuzma, and Katya too— maybe even Mikhail and Bogdan if we want to have a broader system… If Alexei can't do it, Jared or Lawrence are viable options…'
