So before we all had dinner, Kaley and everyone else had already returned from their duties and appointnts while Ella tailored a matching sun dress for my outdoor fit and also for everyone else's. And with that, we quickly wharfed down the nice spread for us before we had one of our etings in regards to this place's current status.
And since we grew larger in size, we'd switch up holding them in the pool area or in the multipurpose hall located in the DDR Camp's hospital—and this ti, we held it in the latter with a few more people present.
"Alright, while we're still digesting our food why don't we start this eting right away? First off, I'm gonna need at least a dozen more people to send to D. Jose Station because one of our people ntioned that she saw activity in the Bilibid Prison."
Sir Ferdinand, the CO of this DDR Camp, raised his hand, "So, you're not looking to send more of the kids you've been training yourself?"
I nodded, "I'm aiming to send them alternatingly—and don't worry, I'll do the sa for the soldiers we'd send over there but I'd prefer if there'd be volunteers for a more~ permanent position. In addition, Mayor Iskoh's troops would just be a few stations away and Sir Morales' outpost would be even closer.
You're not in imdiate danger but you should always keep an eye open since it's a newly established outpost."
At that point, I let Rin bring out a sign-up sheet, and surprisingly enough, we had more than a few dozen volunteers and that was a problem checked off the list.
Obviously, the people who signed up preferred more action compared to here because let's just say it, with the number of our clean-up crew driving outward and outward, the guards stationed here were taking care of more dostic problems than apocalyptic ones.
Still, I'd have to ask Ferdinand to vet the list because he was still in charge of his soldiers even though Oscar and I were given authority over them. I could easily wave my hand around but it was a matter of respect and Ferdinand was qualified for the job and he was doing a pretty good job of it.
And after that, while most of us were still present, I brought up the assault on Dax and Sheepy made by TJ, Tesla's cousin:
"Alright, I'd hate to bring this up because most of you wanted to act like vigilantes but if you haven't known yet, soone took 'vengeance' by going into these brothers' room and breaking so bones after they exchanged unsavory words. You know who you fucking are and I understand the sentint, I do, but you're not seeing the big picture here," I said as I glanced at TJ's general direction.
"..." TJ just shook his head as everyone else in his entourage were supporting him nonetheless.
I paused for a mont to chuckle before I continued, "It wouldn't have mattered if you got the bad guy but before we even get to that, you only picked sothing out of the things they did to your family and haven't considered that your family's also involved in the matter and just decided to bla it all on them.
They're junkies, yes, but your family mbers who were with them weren't junkies in a way but if those junkies weren't there to help soone, let's say soone with a na derived from a car manufacturer, for example, they would be in a worst place and I guarantee it—"
TJ then shouted as he stood up from his seat, "WHO ARE YOU TO SAY THAT?! THINGS COULD'VE BEEN VERY DIFFERENT IF THEY DIDN'T— IT WOULD'VE BEEN VERY DIFFERENT!"
"But it wasn't and your argunt is now just based on a hypothetical. While it's true that things could've gone differently, what happened… happened and you're— Before that, why are you so fucking mad about them, huh?"
"HAH?! THE DRUGS, OBVIOUSLY! T-THEY— T-THEY GAVE DRUGS TO EVERYONE IN THEIR GROUP A-AND HAD THEIR WAY WITH THEM! O-ONE OF THEM E-EVEN GOT PREGNANT, RIGHT?! RIGHT?!"
I acted like it was the first ti I heard of it, "Huh. So~ You an to say they were the reason your cousin had a great ti and you fucks below were basically starving to death?"
"YOU— WHY AM I THE BAD GUY HERE?! I FEEL LIKE I AM! I DID NOTHING WRONG—"
"That's where you're wrong, TJ."
"WHAT?!"
"I can't believe I'm saying this for the nth ti but fuck it, you're only seeing things from your perspective and your own fucking delusions, so here's a credible witness, Tesla, co on up and prove your cousin wrong, alright? Not totally but tell him everything that went down," I said as I turned back and had Tesla co in via wheelchair.
Like everyone else in Dax and Sheepy's group, they were all discharged and had been living in their assigned hos but most of them were still weak and needed more ti to recover.
And with Tesla's case, he was just lying in bed most of the ti and his cousin just made his own narrative of what went down despite the multiple tis they ntioned that they had to take drugs to stave off food.
Heck, even Casey could testify that she took those drugs willingly and while I can't say for sure if anyone else forced themselves on another person, we should— I an, TJ should hear from his own family.
Tesla just forced a smile as he spoke on the mic, "T, I'm telling you, all types of shit were blurred when we're all stuck up in there but all of us aren't blaming Dax or Sheepy one bit. I was trying to tell you many tis but you just kept stewing on your own and fuck— I'd hate to say this but all of us there had gotten closer in ways you couldn't imagine."
"SHUT UP! CAN'T YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
Tesla chuckled, "Dude. If *points back at * his group didn't co that ti, your group would've been dead first and we'd still be shooting shit in our arms and have food for a year. I'll admit I haven't hard drugs before but we just had to—"
"WHY DON'T YOU FUCKING SHUT UP?! GET DOWN THERE!"
"How about no? You're my elder cousin, you're not my mom. Still, I don't care either way because I'm still fucking alive and I'm going to wherever they are going after I fully recover. I'm not sure about everyone else though but again, we're not blaming them for what happened that ti. And yeah, I haven't had the chance to say this while I'm still in detox but fuck you, you piece of shit!"
"WHAT?!"
"THOSE FUCKING JUNKIES— NO, MY BROTHERS SAVED MY FUCKING LIFE AND YOU FUCKING DID THAT SHIT! AND FOR WHAT?! FOR ?! YOU DID NOTHING FOR BEFORE! WHAT'S THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE NOW?! JUST FUCKING ADMIT THE TRUTH THAT YOU GOT THE HOTS FOR CASEY'S SISTER, CAMILLE, AND YOU JUST SAW BEATING DAX AND SHEEPY AS AN OPPORTUNITY!"
'Oof.'
And as soon as Tesla dropped the mic—just kidding, he tried to but I fucking caught it—TJ never looked so distraught as he tried to wave his cousin over to stop while looking panicked at everyone else who was supporting him earlier.
"SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! THAT'S NOT TRUE, AND YOU FUCKING KNOW IT!"
And of course, the looks his posse was giving him completely turned a complete 180, and he had no fucking way to dig himself of the situation. His face had never been so fucking red—and I could only imagine how hot his face felt like—but before he could even try to rush the stage to do god knows what to my whistleblower, I threw him a fucking bone.
"TJ, TJ, TJ— Calm down though—"
"CALM DOWN?! I'M GETTING SLANDERED HERE! CALM DOWN?! DAX AND SHEEPY PROBABLY ORDERED HIM TO—"
Tesla cut in with a mocking glance, "No the fuck I did not! I'm doing this shit for free but I'd accept a blunt—"
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOU FUCKING RUNT!"

I tried to wave TJ down again, "Hey, calm down, I said—"
"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN IF MY NA'S GETTING DRAGGED DOWN THE—"
So I let out the tiniest bit of killing intent slip before I suddenly appeared before his eyes, "Look, you got out scot-free, those two aren't charging you for anything. However, I did promise them I'd let them have a crack at you— you know, one on one in a ring once they fully recover and shit."
"T-The fuck are you talking about?"
"I can't believe you're this fucking dumb for pussy. What I'm saying is—"
"But how about my na—"
"It's already dragged in the mud the mont you went inside their rooms and tried to fight two emaciated fucks who were in detox. How about you grow so fucking balls and accept an honest fight once they get out?"
