After a quick breakfast—and a few more "interactions" with everyone else after that, I discovered that aside from Lucy joining us for a quick detour on my Unc's ranch, everyone else who was thinking of staying in Cuervo Heights for a few days simply decided to drop it and just co with us for the mont.
"Even you, JP?" Kaley asked.
JP nodded, "Yeah, the troops will stay here but he'll leave in a couple of hours as well."
I then turned to Joe, "You too, right?"

Sheepy chuckled, "Heh, bro can't take a complint but *looks back at Quinn* now that you're here, Dax is great with logistics and shit— We'd love to shoot our shot with you as well so we have a leg up among everyone else trying to make it here."

At that point, even I listened in to their conversation once Dax asked for more specifics because every info I could get in regards to the Garcia family was fucking gold. Well, I hoped Lucy would tell more about it in the coming days we'd spend with her.
However, there was always that brief mont when one's real feelings and intentions would get revealed before they put their layer of masks back on.
It was already a miracle that I saw it bu Kaley definitely saw that small crack on Lucy's face.
While it was true that we heard all sorts of fucked up things from her mouth, it was still night and day compared to seeing it with her own two eyes. And we haven't even talked about the "unspeakable" things she ntioned.
In any case, we ended breakfast on an okay-ish tone, and funnily enough, Dax and Sheepy also decided to co with us for one last ti before they attempted to put down roots in Cuervo Heights or any other place they'd set their sights on.
After a while, everyone had already boarded our vessel for our original goal.
"Leaving already, Hermano?" Mr. Cuervo jokingly asked as he waved us off by the pier.
"We'll write you a letter or sothing, heh. We won't be long."
"Don't fucking jinx it."
"I'm not— Well, fuck it. We'll be back as soon as we can."
"Just make sure of that."

With that said, it was still a few hours before noon when we sailed to Quezon Province— but aside from everything being uneventful while we were safe from the safety of our water vehicle, we did fly our drones for as much as they could to gather so information from the shore.
Obviously, the sa scene appeared over and over again, looted houses, walking dead, empty streets, dismbered body parts with chewed-up bits strewn all over, a congestion of vehicles in our particular street or intersection, and the rare occurrence of survivors spotting us either waving to get help or scurrying sowhere to hide.
We were about a third of the way to our destination where we reached Tayabas Bay, and instead of driving close to the shore like usual, we decided to sail straight ahead—not only to save ti but also to avoid Lucena City, from where we had this incident with one of Artem's subordinates, Alexander.
Looking from afar, it seed like they also made use of the boats available and the space allotted to them by breeding fish in enclosures made of nets floating on the water.
I couldn't say much about their security if they were to receive an attack from the water but let's just say that with the number of people manning the area, they have a lot of space to cover.
'Well… Which fucking zombie swims and who would have the resources to attack from this side? Heh. I know a few but they're making it way~ easier for everyone else above them…'
It's just that this weird stand-off between us where we were just checking each other through a telescope ended when one of their people in charge decided to try and contact us via radio:
