At the mont, although the city was still maintaining a semblance of order and "recreational activities" like looting, vandalism, and arson had been forcibly suppressed, a surge of dissatisfaction was already brewing beneath the surface.

If Orsaga wanted to stir things up and make a headline-worthy scene, his best option would be to try a bit of missionary work, corrupt the city from within, or simply replicate the tactics he'd used when breaching that front line before—sa trick, new location.

But to him, that sort of thing was only good for one round of "harvesting leeks" at most.

And racking up that much aggro was bound to draw out quite a few wild Boss-class enemies. If any of them got suspicious and disrupted his ongoing Multi-World Plague Inc Plan, it would be a huge loss.

After all, that plan wasn't just about long-term benefits; it was tied to his future layout across worlds. Its value far exceeded what a single city's worth of leeks could offer.

So, for once, he suppressed his self-destructive impulses and went back to casually wandering the city.

It wasn't long before he made a new discovery.

A faint, yet oddly familiar scent was picked up by his sharp sense of sll.

The owner of that scent hadn't crossed paths with him in quite so ti, but Orsaga, who had once taken note of her, still clearly rembered it.

Following the trail through several winding alleyways, he finally caught sight of a figure.

It was a tall, slender female elf, around 2.1 ters in height.

She wore a white, gold-trimd robe and seed to be eyeing so street food.

Nurous male passersby were clearly enchanted by her beauty. Though they maintained serious expressions, they were secretly sneaking glances at her—lecherous but lacking the courage to act on it.

The classic "all lust, no guts" type.

'What was her na again…?'

Orsaga should've recalled her na instantly, but his mind was sluggish lately, overwheld by a torrent of newly absorbed knowledge. His ntal processing was overloaded, and his mory access had slowed considerably.

'Alison? Yeah, that should be it!'

After a few seconds of sifting through the mories he'd taken from various souls, he located information on her.

Back during that front line operation, aside from a joint ntal attack by the enemy, she had been the only one to actually injure him.

She had nearly blown his head off.

Fortunately, his skull was particularly tough, so only his face had exploded—plus a bit of brain matter had leaked out.

Though the main reason she'd succeeded was because her bow was unusually high-grade, capable of piercing even his exoskeleton.

But in terms of raw power, this female elf ranked among the stronger demigods in this world.

Far superior to that dark elf demigod who had been present at the ti.

From Orsaga's perspective, the dark elf was just a bonus—if Alison hadn't been dragging him down, he would've taken care of that guy easily.

Now that he'd recalled the general details, Orsaga rummaged through more stolen mories and uncovered quite a bit of background on Alison.

One of the mory fragnts ca from a devoted admirer of hers, so the info was pretty comprehensive.

A direct descendant of the Sun God worshipped by the elves, the most outstanding high elf in the past three millennia of the Elsella Elven Kingdom, and current bearer of the honorary title "The Flower of Light."

Recalling her dozens of titles, Orsaga felt a little bitter.

Even just hearing them sounded cool.

He was ridiculously powerful, and yet no one had bothered to give him a single nickna. It made him feel like a polished gem buried in dirt.

But after wallowing for about 0.1 seconds, he forgave those fools—they were mostly dead now anyway, and he had personally killed most of them.

'Hmm?'

As Orsaga approached, Alison began to notice the shift in attention from the nearby pedestrians—especially the female ones—as their gazes slowly turned toward sothing else.

Following their line of sight, she turned to look at Orsaga.

After studying his features for a mont, she imdiately rembered seeing him during the crisis at the front line. Though the Abyssal creatures had already breached the line by then, so they'd never interacted.

His face also matched the description her relative had given her not long ago.

She parted her lips and asked softly, "Are you Orsaga?"

"You know ?"

Hearing her call him by na, Orsaga tilted his head curiously, expression unchanged.

"I don't recall us ever speaking before?"

He was a bit puzzled that she knew his na.

After all, the only reason he knew her background was because he'd dug through other people's mories.

"I'm acquainted with Golarial. She seems to like you quite a bit. When I visited her recently, she ntioned you. Your appearance is quite distinctive, so it stuck in my mory."

What she didn't ntion was that the main reason she'd rembered Orsaga was due to a strong sense of déjà vu when Golarial had described his features.

Additionally, Golarial had once warned her that despite Orsaga's aloof and composed deanor—and the fact that he usually kept a low profile—he was, in truth, extrely ruthless and explosive. He could be shockingly patient about so things, and utterly impatient about others. And once soone crossed the line and earned his disgust, he wouldn't hesitate to kill without rcy.

A man of deep contradictions.

His heart had no room for others. This was why, even though Golarial clearly liked Orsaga, she had always hesitated.

She had once told Alison that Orsaga's "affection" was less like romantic interest and more like the way one cherishes a favorite toy…

Alison still vividly recalled Golarial describing how she'd once seen Orsaga casually snap the neck of a legendary-ranked powerhouse who'd offended him—as if breaking a chicken's neck.

Quietly gauging the faint, lingering danger in Orsaga's aura, Alison—who couldn't quite see through him—combined Golarial's intel with her own impression and reached a conclusion:

'He's harmless most of the ti, but extrely dangerous in certain monts. A very dangerous individual.'

Orsaga, unaware that Golarial had psychoanalyzed him so thoroughly, or that she had shared those insights with Alison, simply noted the caution in Alison's eyes. But after verifying that she wasn't lying, he didn't think too deeply about it.

Instead, he chuckled casually and said, "Ah, I see. I thought I'd beco famous without realizing it."

He then gave her a formal elven greeting gesture.

Alison paused for a mont but then returned the gesture politely.

'Very well-mannered… Doesn't look like the impulsive, violent type at all…'

Her expression softened slightly as she replied, "I don't know if you rember, but this isn't actually our first eting. A few years ago, we had a brief encounter at the front Line."

"Of course I rember. But the situation was urgent back then, so we didn't get a chance to talk."

Orsaga smiled as he replied.

He'd just finished spreading the disease in the place and was ready to flee. It really had been urgent.

Alison nodded in agreent, then asked a question that had been on her mind: "Where are you from, if I may ask? A powerful individual like you—I feel like I should've at least heard of you."

As a brutally honest kind of demon, Orsaga didn't even try to lie. He simply stated the plain truth:

"I'm an orphan, no living relatives. My birthplace is a red riverbank where no plants grow. My childhood was spent in a Forest."

"As an adult, aside from the occasional hunting trip, I mostly stayed in a city built by powerful beings. It's a pretty nice place—good scenery, friendly residents—but way too remote. I doubt you've heard of it. It wasn't until recently that I used a teleportation array to co to this region. Figured I'd try my luck and see if there was anything worth my while."

After confirming through a certain technique that Orsaga was telling the truth, Alison nodded. "I see… It's very far away, then. No wonder I hadn't heard of it."

Orsaga shrugged nonchalantly and offered, "This isn't exactly the best place for a chat. Since you're a friend of Golarial's, let buy you a drink."

"Then I'll gladly accept your hospitality."

After a brief mont of hesitation, Alison gave a slight nod.
