Several days later.

Orsaga looked at the [Crimson Sin] in his hand, now filled to the brim with negative energy.

He knew—it was ti to return to another world.

So, he casually inford Golarial.

Although she knew that Orsaga's trips to so-called "other worlds" were unlikely to involve anything good, after a mont of hesitation, Golarial still said, "Be careful."

"Mm."

With a simple response, Orsaga vanished on the spot.

Drawn by the pull of the Abyssal contract, he headed toward the summoning space.

---

The space looked just as it did before—directionless and chaotic, with countless motes of light of various sizes floating everywhere.

Now that he had advanced to a Greater-Rank Demon, Orsaga had far more options than last ti.

Globes of light, each revealing offerings of varying rarity, appeared before his eyes.

So offerings were so precious that even he found them noteworthy. But he didn't pick them directly—high-value offerings usually ant high difficulty.

He wasn't interested in getting dragged into a ss or being soone's punching bag.

After searching for a while and failing to make a decision, he gave in to his usual fallback:

Random selection.

The offering might be a trap, sure—but his innate ability, [Void – Revelation], wasn't.

When it ca to chance, his gift gave him a supernatural sense of foresight—giving him a significant edge.

You could say it was a gamble.

But one where his luck was naturally stacked in his favor.

Eventually, he randomly drew a summoning ritual with a rather odd offering.

Orsaga didn't bother overthinking it and chose to respond to the summoning imdiately.

With the power of the Abyss, he crossed countless worlds at a speed beyond comprehension.

Just as he neared the destination, Orsaga stuck to his tried-and-true plan:

Send an avatar first to test the waters. If anything seed off, he'd retreat imdiately.

---

Planet Talandra, Ellre Republic, Aseria Continent, Baundale City.

In a remote cave on the outskirts.

A middle-aged man with a disheveled appearance stared wide-eyed at the summoning ritual before him.

Muttering incantations under his breath, he continued the ritual.

As Orsaga, far away in the Abyss, responded to the call, the summoning circle began to glow—causing the man's expression to grow increasingly manic.

Almost deranged.

Whoosh!

A pillar of fla, several ters high, suddenly erupted from the center of the circle.

And as the fla split down the middle, a fiery portal erged.

Orsaga stepped through it, floating in midair, gazing down at the man from above.

In just an instant, he judged that this was rely a normal human with a trace of supernatural power.

At best, his strength was pitiful.

If Orsaga hadn't deliberately restrained his own presence, the man would've gone insane just from facing him directly.

Even a powerless human, given numbers and desperation, could sotis take down a greater foe.

And the raw hatred radiating from this man was unmistakable.

Clearly, he was soone driven by vengeance.

To demons, such a summoner was ideal.

Those who craved revenge often let their hatred consu them—allowing demons to extract far more from the contract.

If there was a flaw here, it was that the summoning ritual itself was surprisingly solid.

No glaring loopholes for Orsaga to exploit. He wouldn't be able to rampage as freely as he did in the first world.

Also, the energy density of this world was low—and it had a strange, decayed scent, like sothing spoiled.

From Orsaga's analysis, destructive power was likely enhanced here, but energy recovery was weakened.

Having assessed the situation, Orsaga turned his gaze on the middle-aged man and asked calmly, "Mortal, what is your wish?"

His face showed neither savagery nor greed—only a businesslike detachnt.

Behind him, his wings gently unfurled, and the divine yet sinister aura of his cursed weapon added to the overwhelming pressure.

For a mont, the man was unsure whether he had summoned one of the fabled brutal demons, or so unknown, otherworldly god.

"…I want you to kill soone."

After a mont of silence, faced with Orsaga's increasingly impatient expression, the man nervously voiced his request.

In response, Orsaga's tail casually picked up the offering at the center of the summoning circle—

A special container.

He asked coldly, "So, is your target stronger than the being inside this thing?"

He could sense that the container held a strange lifeform. The energy signature was odd, but its strength was low—roughly at the level of a Juvenile Demon.

It wasn't anything to take seriously.

After all, the summoning was randomly selected. If the offering was weak, so be it. He could still earn a little on the side.

The man hesitated before answering, "…Much stronger. Probably strong enough to fight off a dozen of whatever's in that thing."

Orsaga shook his head and rejected the deal outright: "Then your offering is clearly insufficient. You're trading a weak target for a much stronger one—by a wide margin, at that."

His logic was airtight. The man couldn't refute it.

His face fell.

Already pale, he now looked even more ashen—like a stray dog in the rain.

He had no more bargaining chips…

Sensing the growing despair in him, Orsaga offered a friendly proposal at just the right mont: "If you have nothing else to offer… then how about I add a little additional condition?"

The man, who had been on the verge of giving up, suddenly perked up—eyes lighting up like he had just grabbed a lifeline. "What condition?"

Orsaga pointed at a section of runes in the summoning circle and said, "Just change this part of the inscription."

Then, he wrote out a new string of magical runes nearby, gesturing for the man to replace the original ones with them.

After carefully examining the new script, the man's expression darkened significantly.

Originally, the inscription would forcibly banish Orsaga from the world as soon as the contract was fulfilled.

But after the change—once the contract was completed, Orsaga would gain the right to move freely in this world.

The implication was crystal clear.

"You're hesitating?"

Watching the man's conflicted face and indecisiveness, a subtle smile curled across Orsaga's otherwise cold expression. "But I suppose… I'm already your last option, aren't I?"

The man shuddered and made his decision.

Gritting his teeth, he modified the summoning circle.

As soon as he was done, Orsaga's smile turned unrestrained.

"Excellent. The contract is sealed."

As his words fell, the portal behind him rippled faintly.

Silently and without warning, Orsaga's true body rged with the avatar—

And fully descended into this world.
