After glancing away from the system panel and its numbers, Orsaga turned his eyes toward Silas' not-yet-cold corpse.

With the man's system now dismantled, Orsaga had also gained access to a portion of his mories.

It gave him a full picture of this "fellow countryman's" background.

Stroking his chin thoughtfully, Orsaga muttered, "The last tiline, you got wiped out by collateral damage. This ti, I personally killed you. Gotta admit, that's a step up—at least you died for a worthy cause."

Then, he pulled out a cosplay prop from his personal storage.

A sliding coffin, covered in "Fortune" symbols.

He casually stuffed the body inside and gave a satisfied nod. "Considering how valuable you turned out to be, I've even arranged a private suite for you."

"You'd better learn to appreciate the blessings you're given!! Oli-give!!"

Shouting his signature catchphrase, he spat into the coffin as he shut the lid—helping Silas "cremate" in his own twisted way.

With that done, Orsaga's figure vanished into the depths of the mountain range.

Monts later, the massive peaks began to collapse inward.

Billions of tons of rock and soil buried the entire base beneath.

Thus, Orsaga had seen to Silas' "funeral arrangents"—granted, not exactly peaceful, but certainly thorough.

One could even say... shockingly considerate.

Murder, looting, cremation, burial—all in one seamless flow!

---

Hours Later...

Tens of thousands of light-years away, within the Stellar Empire—Strategic Intelligence Division.

A departnt head, who had just been zoning out and wondering what to eat for dinner, was jolted back to full alertness when a strange signal suddenly flashed across the screen.

One glance at the symbol was all it took—he knew exactly what kind of intel this was. Without hesitation, he barked,

"Quick! Pull it up!"

As the footage began to play, not only he, but all nearby staff gathered around, curious.

After all, chances like this were rare—miss it and there'd be no rerun.

The next mont, just like what happened to Gloux and his team, played out again.

Wails of agony echoed across the room as pure tornt flooded in.

However, as an official departnt of an interstellar empire, their protective systems were far more advanced than Gloux's setup.

In less than a second, the AI core had already identified the source of the anomaly and forcibly terminated the transmission.

"%@¥%¥!"

Weak-kneed and drenched in sweat, the departnt head slumped into his seat, gasping for air as fear gripped his chest.

Even though it had lasted just a mont, it felt endless—as if soone had been skinning him alive and gouging out his flesh.

For soone born into a noble lineage, it was a kind of tornt he simply couldn't fathom.

Had he not been decently powerful with a bit of ntal resistance, he might have outright passed out—or worse, lost control of his body entirely.

[dical team en route. Please stand by]

As the AI notified him, the head looked around at the room full of subordinates wailing and thrashing in agony. He could only sigh helplessly.

The cause? Orsaga's passive trait—[The Weak May Not Gaze Upon Him]—originally just induced ntal contamination. The pain wasn't even the worst part.

But paired with his innate talent [Agony Intensification], which enhances any pain suffered by those he harms...

It beca an unrivaled technique for slaughtering the weak.

As long as a target lacked sufficient power to resist, their physical body and soul would be simultaneously ravaged by unbearable pain—while being forced to remain fully conscious until death.

---

Far away on the planet Talandra, Orsaga sensed that soone across the cosmos had just caught sight of his true form.

Following the imprint of his own power, he sent a fragnt of his consciousness across the stars.

Using the mark as a locator, he arrived swiftly.

He didn't erge directly, instead staying within the imprint to observe the surrounding environnt.

Though the mark lacked visual input, his perception of the area gave him all the information he needed.

The strongest person nearby was only at the High-Rank Demon level.

As for the facility's defenses? Both the materials and engineering were decent...

But only decent.

Orsaga had accumulated knowledge across multiple worlds and tapped deeply into his inherited bloodline powers. His standards were already far beyond this.

Even if he didn't fully understand this universe's system, just one glance was enough to grasp the basics.

"One weaker than the next. No real powerhouses here at all…"

Satisfied that everyone nearby was trash, his will slipped out from the imprint, becoming untraceable to those around him.

As he floated through the room, watching dics frantically treat the screaming staff, Orsaga remained expressionless. With a wave of his hand, he amplified their pain, killing every last one of them.

He ignored the dics scrambling in panic at the sudden deaths and casually harvested the souls of the victims, digging into their mories.

Being part of a confidential governnt agency, they actually possessed a wealth of intel Orsaga found useful.

Soon, the pieces ca together in his mind:

"So that's how it is… Seems that guy's knowledge of this country was way too limited…"

That "guy" referred to Gloux.

From Gluox's perspective, the Stellar Empire was nothing special—just a diocre interstellar state spanning barely one-fifth of a star system, with territory about 20,000 light-years wide. In the vast universe, nations like this existed by the millions.

But the mories of the Strategic Intelligence Division agents painted a much clearer picture.

Though weak in power, their breadth of knowledge far exceeded that of soone like Gloux, who had crawled his way up from the wilds.

Combined with mories extracted from Raiyaglen, Orsaga quickly filled in most of the blanks about this world.

But that was only the beginning.

Stepping up to the AI terminal, Orsaga casually pointed at a screen. Instantly, one of the staff's access codes was inserted.

In that mont, the entire data vault of the Strategic Intelligence Division—and even other departnts—opened up to him.

Vast torrents of data were consud at terrifying speed.

Every screen in the room flickered wildly.

And thanks to the tweaks Orsaga made to the survivors' visual perception, no one noticed the abnormal activity—even if it happened right before their eyes.

They were too busy trying to save the wounded.

Minutes later, Orsaga withdrew his consciousness, calmly phased through the wall, and left the scene.

"Four level 6 combatants, huh… But based on this world's system, they're just regular species. They're probably weaker than Raiyaglen, that so-called 'Top-Class Hazardous Lifeform.'"

---

Not long after Orsaga departed, an urgent call ca through to the recovering departnt head.

The voice on the other end roared with fury:

"What the hell is going on over there?! Why are so many staff dead?! And why is there unauthorized mass access of internal data?!"

"…?"

He understood the first question—but the second?

Turning his head, he glanced at the workstation nearby. Everything looked completely normal.

So he asked, confused:

"What do you an, 'mass access of internal data'?"
