After finishing off the true form of the God of Earth and Life, Orsaga took a little extra ti to give him the sa treatnt he had given Helion, tracking down his divine kingdom and completely obliterating it, leaving no trace behind.

When the god died, his expression was anything but peaceful. He struggled desperately throughout the entire process. But no matter how much effort he put in, a twisted arm can't overpower a thigh and in the end, he still couldn't outmatch Orsaga.

He was forcefully sent to the afterlife.

---

Faced with the consecutive downfall of their comrades,

the remaining gods wore increasingly grim expressions.

One by one, they started thinking about retreat, hoping to pick a more auspicious day and fight another ti.

But the Abyssal demons clearly had no intention of letting them walk away that easily.

"You think you can just pack up and leave now that we've gained the upper hand?, Dream on!"

And so, the battle was forcibly dragged on. Whether they wanted to or not, both sides had no choice but to fight it out to the bitter end.

---

Two days later.

On an island littered with corpses, inside a palace still lavishly decorated despite the carnage, Orsaga, now in his human form, sat lazily on a throne-like chair, yawning with boredom.

He had one leg crossed over the other and asked the nearby Guild staff mber:

"Is it ready yet?"

Seeing Orsaga's increasingly impatient expression,

the man imdiately forced a smile and bowed:

"Just a mont more, my lord! I beg your patience!"

Then, he snapped angrily at a nearby maid:

"What are you standing around for? Massage the lord!"

The trembling young woman, clearly terrified—hurriedly obeyed:

"Y-Yes!"

She cautiously placed her hands on Orsaga's shoulders,

massaging as gently as she could, as if she were stroking a man-eating beast.

Which, frankly, wasn't all that inaccurate.

After all, across the entire multiverse, 99% of "beasts" couldn't match Orsaga in raw power.

Orsaga spared her a single glance, then lost interest.

As far as he knew, this woman had been the princess of this island not long ago.

But that ant nothing to him.

To Orsaga, the status of a mortal princess held no more weight than that of a commoner. And now that her country was gone, that identity was even more aningless.

Besides, he wasn't even the one who destroyed it.

That honor belonged to another Greater-Rank Demon,

who had needed a fresh supply of blood to recover from a skirmish with a god.

Thus, the island's population had beco that demon's buffet.

Only a few survivors were kept alive to act as temporary servants.

From this woman, Orsaga could sense fear and hatred.

Even without reading her mind, he knew full well she probably wanted to stab him right then and there.

But she simply didn't have the power.

Even if Orsaga stood there doing nothing, a mortal couldn't harm him, a gap of lifeform ranks far too vast to bridge.

---

So ti later.

The Chloroya Guild technician finally completed his adjustnts.

He turned to Orsaga with visible excitent:

"Lord Orsaga, everything is ready! Would you like to say a few words to the world?"

Orsaga waved him off:

"Nah. I just want to watch the show."

"Very well."

The man straightened his robe, took a deep breath, and activated the device they'd spent hours calibrating.

At once, a column of light shot into the sky, piercing the clouds.

Lightning and storms crackled overhead.

Then, a gigantic light screen unfolded across the sky—

blanketing the entire material plane of the Seven Seas realm.

Anyone standing anywhere under the open sky could see it just by looking up.

---

All across the world, countless people looked to the Sky in confusion.

"Click."

With a sound like a monitor powering on, the light screen flickered to life.

On it appeared the figure of the Chloroya representative, holding a microphone-like artifact, addressing the masses:

"People of the Seven Seas, greetings. We are the Chloroya rchant Guild. You may not know us. You may be confused as to why we're here. You may not understand what has happened. So, let clarify everything—on behalf of our Guild and the Greater-Rank Demons currently in command."

"Two days ago, according to your local calendar, we successfully purged this world of its gods, including, but not limited to, the God of the Sun and the God of Earth and Life.

Therefore, in accordance with the laws of the multiverse, this realm now belongs to us. We are granting you one month to consider voluntary surrender. We hope you will submit sooner rather than later…"

---

That "one-month grace period" obviously wasn't out of rcy.

Its real purpose was to fulfill the bargain struck with the summoned Abyssal demons.

When those mid- and low-Rank demons were summoned from the Abyss, Orsaga and the other Greater-Rank Demons had promised them one month of free rein in this realm as paynt. Basically, a month-long all-you-can-eat buffet.

That's what convinced so many demons to co.

During this period, so long as the demons didn't cause catastrophic environntal damage, Orsaga and the others wouldn't interfere.

Not because they were generous, but because they'd intentionally thinned out the lower-rank demon numbers beforehand.

With only a few hundred thousand left, even a month of unrestricted activity wouldn't cause irreversible damage to the plane.

---

As the representative's speech continued, the entire Seven Seas realm fell into collective shock.

Due to the realm's scattered geography and lack of major landmasses, information spread slowly.

Until that mont, only a few factions even knew the Abyss had invaded.

Now suddenly, their gods were dead, and new rulers had claid dominion over the world?

Countless minds reeled with confusion.

Even believers in the Three Great Churches were completely blindsided.

Tens of thousands of devout followers rushed to their churches in a frenzy, desperate to find out whether the announcent was true.

Any rational person could tell, a projection large enough to cover the whole sky, unhindered, clearly ant business.

But when one's faith collapses, logic goes out the window.

In denial, they ignored every warning sign.

They needed to hear it from their gods themselves.

And so, chaos spread rapidly across the realm.
