Now reading: Chapter 382 382: The Civilization of Gaienser from Demon Prince: Eternal Sovereign Of The Multiverse, a Action novel by translatorsama72.

The Gaienser Civilization.

It had been 4,145 years since the war with the Wizarding Civilization began.

During that ti, as the conflict escalated, both sides had suffered considerable losses.

The highest governing body of the Wizards—The Council of Wizards—had seen two of its Eighth-tier wizards critically wounded.

anwhile, the Gaienser howorld had lost nearly one-thirtieth of its territory, and one mber of their ruling body—the Psionic Council—had been exiled to an unknown world. Whether they would ever return remained uncertain.

As for mid- and lower-tier wizards, magical beasts, battleships, war machines...

Countless had perished.

Eventually, both sides began looking for outside help—pulling other worlds into their war.

The result?

Though neither of the main civilizations suffered fatal damage, dozens of the worlds they dragged in were completely destroyed.

When titans wage war, even the bystanders are wiped out by the shockwaves.

You couldn't help but feel sorry for the innocent—caught in the crossfire of two juggernauts.

At this mont, in a bustling public square—

A strong, lizard-headed Gaienser citizen stood upright, his gaze fixed seriously on a nearby recruitnt poster.

As a civilian Psionic User, he had trained for over 200 years and finally reached tier four, placing him firmly in the category of elites across most sectors.

But now, he'd hit a ceiling.

The resources he could access through civilian channels had nearly dried up.

Many of the materials and knowledge he needed were simply out of reach for soone of his status.

At this point, if he wanted to continue progressing, his only options were:

Join an official organization.

Or pledge himself to one of the major powers.

And between shadowy factions and a fully recognized institution, the official route was obviously better.

Larger. Stronger. More resources. More fair.

So, he was preparing to enlist in the military.

Right now, he was scanning the recruitnt boards, trying to figure out which units were taking in new mbers—and which branches they belonged to.

The Gaienser military was made up of hundreds of divisions, each with its own duties and areas of responsibility.

He had no desire to end up on the frontlines of a high-intensity warzone.

Places like that...

Even a tier Four Psionic User wasn't safe.

One of his senior peers—a tier Five—had died in just such a campaign.

As for how he died?

Simple.

He got caught in a battle between a tier Seven wizard and a tier Seven Psionic warrior.

It took just one second.

The chaotic forces at the battlefield's core tore him to shreds.

It was this exact mory that made the Gaienser citizen extrely cautious about where he would serve.

Just then, he felt sothing strange—like soone had appeared beside him.

Turning his head in confusion, he spotted a figure standing next to him.

He didn't know when that person had gotten there.

But they were now stepping down from a flowerbed, walking atop a patch of vivid red Karmado flowers.

[Karmado Flower]

A species discovered several centuries ago—mildly poisonous, but highly valued for both its ornantal beauty and its unique properties.

Widely cultivated across many worlds for display and alchemical purposes.

The Gaienser citizen stared at the figure descending from the flowers.

After observing him for a mont, his expression twisted into confusion.

"A human... with horns?"

Based on what he'd read, so wizards displayed those features after undergoing bloodline transplantation...

But this was the Gaienser howorld.

There shouldn't be any wizards here.

'A different race, maybe?'

That was his guess.

After all, the Gaienser civilization was a powerful hub of nearby star systems. Foreigners from many races were common, and allies even more so.

Seeing soone with wizard-like features wasn't anything unusual.

Still...

Sothing about this stranger felt different.

Despite the vast gap in species and aesthetics, he found the figure oddly pleasing to look at.

Or maybe...

Awe-inspiring was the better term.

Deep down, he felt an urge—a desire—to be like him.

Before he could think too deeply on it, the man who had just stepped down—Orsaga—snapped his fingers.

He was in a foul mood.

An invisible ripple burst outward, rapidly spreading in all directions.

And everything nearby began to twist.

Matter and energy, life and death—

The lines between them blurred.

Buildings began to sprout cancerous flesh, pulsating beneath their polished exteriors.

Their outer materials—tal, plastic, alloy—peeled away like molting skin and reshaped into scales and carapaces.

Malford limbs—arms, legs, claws—erged from the towers like parasitic growths.

Windows, lights, ventilation pipes transford into eyeballs, tongues, and other warped organs, writhing in the open air.

Even the giant digital billboards hanging on the walls split open into gaping mouths.

Each mouth, filled with twisted, fibrous teeth, began chanting soul-warping praises in countless voices—each with a different tone and cadence.

In seconds, the whole area shook violently.

Towering skyscrapers beca crawling monstrosities—so sprouting wings, others digging into the ground like insects.

Plants, animals, even simple tools were altered instantly.

Under Orsaga's influence, many mundane lifeforms were awakened, unlocking space, ti, causality, fire, toxin, and countless other attributes—

Turning them into lethal beings of chaos.

In less than five seconds, before Gaienser's upper ranks could even react, a significant portion of their howorld was turned into a flesh-warped demonic zone.

If not for the combined suppression of both their holand's protective systems and the universe's innate resistance, the destruction would've spread across the entire planet.

Alarms blared.

Sirens howled across Gaienser's high-security control center.

Dozens of operatives stared in shock as the real-ti map showed entire zones changing color—turning red.

"Move! NOW!"

"Find out what's going on, imdiately!"

The departnt head's voice echoed across the room.

But the truth ca even faster than they expected.

Through orbiting surveillance equipnt, their high-level AI quickly captured a clear image of the figure at the center of the anomaly.

Orsaga.

His image was projected onto every monitor in the command center.

The mont his face appeared on the screen, everyone leaned forward—

Trying to see who had caused all this chaos.

And there he was.

Looking straight up, head tilted toward the sky—as if he could see the exact location of the orbiting satellite.

As if...

He was looking right through it.

Right at them.

Before anyone could react—

Orsaga's voice echoed directly into their souls:

"Go... destroy everything."

In the next instant, every lifeform watching him through those monitors—except for the strongest—began to mutate.

Space and distance ant nothing.

They twisted into grotesque monsters and began destroying everything around them.
