In response Annie showed them her right arm, this made the two even more confused, then in front of their eyes her hand started changing.
The skin was ripped apart and black fur grew, the hand turned into a claw and in a blink of an eye, her arm had turned into a werewolf claw.
This was a partial transformation. It was an ability all werewolves at Delta and above had.
Combining it with the second stage makes a werewolf much stronger while not needing to take their true werewolf form.
This change startled the twins so much Athanathi scread and grabbed her brother’s arm tightly.
Anathi pulled back his sister and glared at Annie vigilantly. " What are you, what did you do with my sister?"
He barked, his mother approached the two of them looking worried. " STAND BACK!" He shouted at her.
His mother looked hurt but she didn’t approach. Annie stood up, her eyes turned green and she growled.
This terrified the twins to the point their legs were shaking. Anathi was stronger and faster than his sister with his long legs.
He pulled her by the arm and tried to run but found his body floating in the air. He paddled with his feet to no avail.
Annie appeared in front of them like a blur and grabbed him by the scuffle. " Don’t you fucken raise your voice at mom.
Sit back down and let explain before you make slap you." He put both of them back on their chairs.
" As I was about to explain, you know Adrian right, my boyfriend?" The twins nodded. She continued.
" Adrian is sothing called a werewolf, let start from the beginning. In this world there are people called Fayera.
They are other races which aren’t humans, you’ve heard about so of them in stories like vampires.
There are also humans who awaken abilities, these are called Espara, besides those two.
There are spirits, different kinds of spirits as well as Gadra, Gadra are basically mindless monsters.
Anyways, among these Fayera there are those with the power to turn others into mbers of their race, again like vampires."
The twins listened without disturbing, everything she was saying made no sense to them but they didn’t dare say anything.
" Adrian is a werewolf, he is one of those Fayera. Eight years ago, he turned and I turned our parents."
Athanathi raised her hand, " Ah, if what you’re saying is true then why don’t we rember anything or have seen anything strange about mom and dad or you so far?"
" About that, back then you were too young, it’s why we’re here today. I had to remove your mories of all of that."
She touched them on their foreheads and used compulsion as well as her telepathy to restore their mories.
" Ahhhhh." They both cried from the sudden flood of mories. " Oh, I rember now, the vampires, being attacked and everything."
Athanathi whispered, " So everything you’ve been saying is true and you’re not monsters that replaced our family?" She asked.
Her mother clicked her tongue, " Do I look like a monster to you?" She folded her arms on her chest.
Athanathi looked terrified, trouble was always on the way when their mother took that stance.
" No, no I..I didn’t an." Her brother closed her mouth before she could dig the whole even deeper.
Then he looked at Annie, " So, what’s the point of this, just to reveal to us what you are, just to brag about your powers?"
Athanathi hit him on the shoulder, " No you idiot, she’s asking if we want to beco werewolves as well, isn’t that right big sis?"
Annie nodded," The choice is entirely yours, if you say no we’ll just remove your mories and you’ll continue with your lives."
" What are the downsides of becoming a werewolf?" Athanathi asked, it was obvious she was contemplating it.
" Does it matter, if big sis beca one then it’s good or she never would’ve asked us to beco one as well." Anathi responded.
" Well not exactly, on a full moon of each month you will kind of lose your sanity and beco a ravaging beast.
But you don’t have to worry, we have a way to deal with that, another downside I guess are emotions.
Your emotions are enhanced to an absurd level, especially love. When you’re really in love with sobody.
Sothing called a mate’s bond forms and binds you together. This makes it impossible for either of you to desire anybody else.
Let clarify though, the love must be mutual for a bond to form, I think. I’ll clarify on that later.
The other is irritation, werewolves are for better or worse very quick to anger, if you can’t control your anger you might end up killing soone for stepping on your toes.

" Language." His mother admonished him in a stern voice.
" Sorry." He apologised in a whisper. Annie looked at Athanathi and she just shrugged.
" If this doofus is turning, that would just leave alone so of course I’m turning too. I have a question though, what will happen to my friends?"
Athanathi had a lot of friends unlike Anathi who mostly preferred solitude. Annie just sighed.
" Well you’re still young, even after turning you can live with mom and dad for a while, you can continue seeing them.
Until you turn 20 you’re still going to age normally and don’t ask how that works, maybe Adrian knows but I don’t.
After 20 though, your aging will slow down significantly, you can still age if you desire to. All you need to do is prevent the moon light from rejuvenating your cells.
Even so, your aging will still be significantly slow, so slow in fact even doctors won’t be able to tell you’ve aged at all, that isn’t sothing you can control.
When that happens, your friends will notice, you can hide it for five years probably but what about 10, 15 or 20 years.
If you still looked the sa, they’ll grow suspicious and probably call you a witch or worse, a vampire."
Her face twisted with disgust when she spoke of vampires.
