As long as Aria stayed alive, Ray had no chance; even if he succeeded in killing the weaker one, Aria could easily get rid of him.
"First, I need a way to defend against her novas." Ray, instead of Aria, flew toward the horseman; its body stood the sa as before.
"Going sowhere?" Aria, with a longbow at hand, shot a crystal arrow toward him, which duplicated itself into smaller pieces. On the other side, the horseman did the sa as before; he drew the string of his bow, summoning destruction and fusion arrows at the sa ti.
Ray called for his equipnt from his soul, a red crystal much like any other magical crystal. From the ground a blood rose, shaping a big tower until it reached their height.
"Passage to Babylon." The tower’s structure changed from blood to red crystals, and with a boom, it exploded into air and ground; anywhere the fragnts touched, portals of blood ca to beings. From the red portals, figures like Ray ca out, each with his power at level 3.
Clones rushed toward the projectiles of Aria, sacrificing their bodies to stop them from reaching Ray’s main body, but in front of him, the horseman was still making preparations; he observed the pink stars. Ti left was less than a minute.
"Give so of your magic." Ray told with rush to the other person inside of him.
The parasite laughed. "Why should I do that?"
"I will make the greatest show you have ever witnessed." From the ti he had known the parasite, the only tis that the parasite tried to communicate with him were the tis that he did sothing impossible or very stupid.
He received no answer, but a pure type of magic started to run through his veins. Using it as a shield around his body, Ray launched himself toward the arrows of horsen.
Taking in a deep breath, Ray focused on his tasks; the smallest mistake could lead to his death. A rain of arrows rushed down on him, blood lances filled the sky behind him as the two forces clashed, and his blood spears hit the fusion arrows while he took the destruction ones head on.
Now with his new body, his durability has grown by miles; still, the shield stopped most of the magic, or he would die on the spot. With no skin, blood started to flood from his body, yet he continued to dance between the arrows.
anwhile Aria took her ti with the clones; there was no way for that boy to survive this, and Scarlet and the rest of the squad had so many practices on their defense against her usual attack.
With a snap of her finger, three stars exploded; even her own eyes went blind. Her own magic couldn’t hurt her body, but so side effects were still there: the impact of the nova and all the arrows collided, giving the burning wave more force, and in between all of them was the blood angel.
As the light and smoke faded away, the only thing left in her eyesight was the monster from before, "This new generation is too coc..."
"Slayer’s door."
The world around her transford into a world made out of bones; the sky and land as long as she could see were made out of human bones. For a second only she was too surprised to act, and that was the only ti window that Ray needed.
From thin air, Ray launched an attack to cut off Aria’s head, yet Aria dodged most of the blade. Still, the tip of Orcus entered her eye, cutting her head with it. Before he could launch another attack, Aria’s body shook, with stronger waves of nova coming out of her body.
The domain tore out easily, but Ray still launched attacks nonstop on the injured woman. Taking advantage of the blinded eye, he constantly attacked from the left. After a few dodges, Ray took one of her fingers. Before he could push more, a blade blocked her scythe.
The horseman joined them too with two claymores, one in each hand; its target was obviously Ray, but with the speed that Ray and Scarlet were fighting, it didn’t mind killing which one first.
Aria put her hand on her blinded eye; burning the injury, the healing could remain for another ti. She tried to observe the blood angel instead; a weak shield of destruction magic was active around his body.
"He changed the pure magic into destruction magic..." Aria didn’t rember the last ti that soone had injured her to this extent; even her own blood seed so unfamiliar.
"You good?" Scarlet asked with a worried tone, "If Aria lost control, that would an her death too."
The sky constantly changed color from silver to red, from red to flas, and ongoing; all three had chosen to fight with their weapons for the ti to regain so of their magic.
"Don’t worry, change of plan, you take care of the blood angel while I take care of the other one." Aria’s voice turned calm once more; there was no point in making a big deal out of her injury.
"I have seen children with more fighting spirit than you. Are you really an immortal? Do you sit on the cuck chair while your squad mbers take your revenge?" Usually Ray didn’t enjoy provoking his opponents like this, but his biggest advantage was chaos on the battlefield. Because of one another, both of them couldn’t use most of their heavy attacks.
"Such cheap tricks won’t work on us." Scarlet answered him while most of her focus was on Aria.
Ray continued with no sha, "Even better, I don’t like fighting pussies."
With the intention to shut Ray’s mouth, Scarlet increased her attacks on him, but that didn’t work either. "I guess there must be a reason why she is not the leader of the goddess squad."
Taking a deep breath, Aria closed her eyes. "I should stay calm... Calm... Calm."
The pink magic around her changed color into purple, with a tail coming out of her waist; her black dress turned into a white dress. From afar, it seed like a wedding dress, yet her deadly aura remained the sa.
"Aria!"
"I don’t mind what happens; protect yourself." With a sharp tone, she faced Ray. "You really wish to die?"
"You can try."
