Demonic Po*nstar System Chapter 159: Aria Has Had Enough

Kaiden’s eyes narrowed. His mouth opened, ready to tell Sasha exactly where she could shove her suggestion. But before he could utter a word, Aria’s voice cut through the tension like a razor blade dipped in frost. Her usual serenity was nowhere to be seen.

"Enough."

Everyone turned toward the Moon Valkyrie, whose silver-blue eyes now glead with a steely light.

"I’m so glad to hear your opinions," Aria said in a polite, composed, but very chilling tone. "But let’s remind ourselves of one thing. You’re rookies."

Sasha blinked, confused. "Excuse ?"

"You’re rookie mbers of Nova Circuit," Aria explained. "The agreent made wasn’t between you, Sasha. Nor you, Vaelira. Certainly not you, Jack."

Her gaze passed over each of them slowly, staring into their eyes.

"The deal was struck between Valhalla’s Sinners and Tessa, the leader of your guild."

She tilted her head to the side as a hostile edge seeped into her expression. "Unless one of you has suddenly beco guild master or been granted the right to negotiate on behalf of Nova Circuit, your opinions are aningless. You are owed nothing."

Once done with her statent, Aria smiled, but the friendly gesture didn’t reach her eyes.

There was a heavy silence that descended as a result of the Moon Valkyrie’s cold declaration. Jack’s jaw clenched, Vaelira’s brows twitched in irritation, and Sasha looked like she had sothing more to say.

Nyx clapped her hands together with a giant grin adorning her delicate lips. "What my icy sis said~."

Luna just cracked her knuckles, fully agreeing with her silver-haired friend.

"Let’s leave before your fellow guild mbers succumb to their wounds," Kaiden suggested, happy his girls had grown such a backbone in this short amount of ti. They were bravely standing up to strong combatants who would’ve easily killed them re days ago.

"You’re one to say..." Leon growled with spite before gesturing toward both of his ruined arms with his chin. "I would’ve long been in the hand of the professionals awaiting our exit outside if you hadn’t decided to dick down that monster chick and just killed her."

Kaiden eyed the heavily bleeding man whose features contorted with overwhelming pain. He knew the accusation had quite a lot of rit to it, but he just shrugged his shoulders. "A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do."

A heavy cursing spree was the answer he received from the wounded swordsman, but the Paragon of Sin turned on his heels and began walking toward the swirling portal, accompanied by the three rrily giggling lady companions of his who were very amused with his shaless audacity.

Bastet also walked after her new master with worried steps, visibly concerned with both the portal and just what was going on in general.

Sensing her overwheld state of mind, Nyx stopped before reaching the portal and extended a hand toward her. She smiled encouragingly while saying, "Co, Bastet. We’ll show you your new ho."

The pink-haired Valkyrie watched with a deadpan expression as their man left without checking on this slightly panicked girl. However, she quickly recovered. "Your new master/lover might seem to be a bit... sharp around the edges at tis, but trust , Kaiden is the most considerate man when it cos to his girls... I believe you will love your ti with our family."

The tanned woman observed Nyx for a bit before shaking her head. "I feel like I’m being treated like a little baby... I’m not concerned about his love for , I just don’t like this strange door. I don’t want to step into it."

"Oh!" Nyx gasped. She knew it already, but it was rather hard to tell her brain that she was indeed conversing with a monster. Or, well, an ex-monster, perhaps. It was only natural Bastet wouldn’t want to step into the gate as she hadn’t seen it before.

"We don’t really know what this is either, but you should think of it as an interdinsional portal capable of traversing through realities in the blink of an eye—or sothing like that."

"What language are you speaking?" Bastet deadpanned.

"Co, let’s go," Nyx said with a rather fake smile, knowing this explanation would take a very long ti.

*Hiss!* Bastet hissed and growled at the portal the closer she ca. But when Kaiden returned and pulled her up into a bridal carry, her consent was no longer asked. Cutely closing her eyes and gripping onto her master with all her strength, the Ra-Blessed Felinid found herself on Earth.

She was the first ever monster that wasn’t attacked on sight upon stepping out of the portal, save for the monsters that were restrained and brought out to be killed outside the dungeons so as to eat their at. Inside the dungeon, they would’ve dematerialized upon their deaths, but the sa wasn’t true for when their slaughter happened on Earth.

"Welco back..." Tessa’s greetings heralded Valhalla’s Sinners’ official return to Earth. The black-haired woman sounded troubled. Not only was she shocked by what she’d seen both on his stream and in his arms right now, but her already struggling guild lost nine awakened during the undertaking.

Her life wasn’t an easy one.

"It’s good to see you again, Tessa," Kaiden replied amicably.

The rest of the survivors followed after them, bringing the injured to the awaiting dical staff, who imdiately began tending to them.

"Mind if I accompany you guys on the way back?" Tessa asked. It seed she had so business to discuss, as she instructed her subordinates, the instructors, to remain with the others. She then gestured to one of the awaiting minivans.

Kaiden and the squad didn’t have a ride, so they were more than happy to accept her offer.

"Will you co with us?" Kaiden asked after turning toward Elara, the teenage dungeon aide who accompanied them on this trying adventure.

"M-? Why?" Her ek attitude returned now that she was out of the dungeon. Back during the critical monts of the dungeon descent, she was incredibly reliable. But it seed she was a rather awkward girl during tis of peace—or at least when it ca to interacting with others—she seed awkward and withdrawn.

"I would like to discuss sothing with you."

Instead of replying, the girl looked at Tessa. The woman nodded, permitting it. "Put down your bags. The others will take care of everything."

"Yes, Leader!"

And just like that, it was ti to go ho, where, once they got nice and comfy, it would be ti to check their latest video’s numbers!
