The bandit reluctantly nodded, stood up, and then took off after hastily grabbing the clothes she had discarded to the side, not even bothering to put them on before beginning to leave.
“Urgh… What did I do…?” anwhile, Shu was leaning against a tree trunk.
“Stop with the lantations. You did what anyone else would have done, so stop moaning about it- You beca a man when Yaling took care of your purity, but today, you beca a true cultivator!” spoke Edrick with a smile, casually walking over to his stuff and picking sothing up.
Shu did not register what it was as he responded.
“Is… Is this really what a true, righteous cultivator would have done?” he asked, knowing very well what the answer truly was.
“Righteous? Oh, there seems to be a misunderstanding. I am not talking about that, I am not talking about soone who follows ideals or a moral code… I am showing you how to act- How to be if you want to survive! Today was the appetiser, an entry-level lesson in how to deal and benefit from those who want to steal from you” he said, not looking at the inner disciple as he spoke. This prompted Shu to pay attention to what the noble scion was doing. It was exactly then that Anoteros let go of his bowstring, sending one arrow soaring through the night, striking the retreating figure of Miss Bandit squarely in the back of the neck, the criminal scum falling forward like a bag full of stone.
