The daily routine for Fanqia was nearly always the sa without her lord-husband around--Without Edrick around to demonstrate what her body was made for.

Things felt a bit odd. She had grown accustod to being used nearly daily, and even on the rare days on which he would not pound her aty body, he still wouldn’t miss the chance to fondle her a bit.

In fact, it was a rarity for him to pass by any of his wives without copping a feel.

The last few days without him being around had forced everyone to find sothing else to occupy themselves with. In that regard, the maids were doing very well. They were already used to not receiving attention on the regular and always having tasks to perform.

Thankfully, although they did not have strict obligations, the wives still had hobbies to partake in, as a way to take their minds elsewhere.

Linmin had his sword training, along with practising new dishes every day, so that he would have so novel things to show Edrick.

Hui was buried in books, learning about languages of all kinds. She also spent an ungodly amount of ti trying to do translations.

Luxuli spent her ti trying to learn magic, and she was starting to see so success. Apparently, the sexual frustration of a Docilis Succubus was quite the driving factor. She was by far the one who felt the worst about Edrick’s absence, since she fed on his seed.

Anoteros had fed her a good bit before leaving for the secret realm. With the potency of his white elixir, any Docilis Succubus would be well-fed for a long while. In fact, even an actual succubus might have her fill for several days. That was how nourishing their husband’s lovely secretion was.

Even without the ability to absorb it like Luxuli, everyone greatly benefited from it.

As for Fanqia herself, she was naturally still trying to manifest the powers of her Velvet Pixie bloodline. She had done so light reading on that specific species, trying to familiarise herself with their specificities and how they were as individuals.

She had also looked into which craftsmanship domains they tended to learn first.

Tool refinent, alchemy, array drawing, and talisman crafting were far from the only things they could perform. Any type of art or craft one could think of had its variation that was useful to cultivators.

But as it turns out, the four most well-known crafts were also the four main ones.

The typical Velvet Pixie would begin his or her journey with alchemy, as it was apparently the simplest of the four to get started with.

It was supposed to co naturally to these pixies. Fanqia was not one of them, however. Her innate bloodline had been dormant for a long ti. She had only learned of its existence and nature thanks to Edrick.

What would she do without her husband? She owed him everything. He had pulled her out of poverty, taught her love, taught her pleasure, given her everything a woman could need… And despite her status as a re commoner, he had made her into a proper wife and even allowed her to be the residence’s matriarch.

She would have been satisfied with anything as long as she was allowed to remain near him…

So truly, Fanqia did not believe that she could ever repay him enough for what he had done for her. She knew that the others felt the sa way.

Others might believe that Anoteros was a bad person because of a few ‘questionable’ things he might get down to, but all within the residence knew that there was no one as kind and gentle as him!

“Oh…” Fanqia suddenly felt like sothing had been drained from her. She stumbled forward and against the workbench in front of her. Luckily, there was no harm as her bountiful chest cushioned everything.

Though she was focused on sothing else entirely at the mont, she had been experinting with common healing herbs, the sort of stuff that was typically ground down via a mortar and pestle by re commoners to treat their everyday injuries... Not quite the sort a cultivator would bother to gather.

Still, their healing capabilities were undeniable. Therefore, Fanqia had made an order for several boxes of it to practise with. Unexpectedly, instead of a handful of herbs, a batch of three round pills lay on the workbench.

“By the gods” she walked around the pills as though trying to make sure it wasn’t just an optical illusion or hallucination... But no, she really had just done it! She had perford alchemy like a Velvet Pixie!

No need for a furnace or brewing equipnt, her will had been enough to condense the healing herbs into pills.

‘That’s incredible!’ she wanted to tell everyone, and also get Luxuli to appraise these pills to see if they were truly of perfect quality, as they were supposed to be. After all, Velvet Pixies were renowned for producing alchemical products that bore no adverse effects. As in, one could consu whatever they wanted as long as it ca from a Velvet Pixie. They wouldn’t build up any resistance, nor accumulate any hidden toxins like one would with the products from any other alchemist.

Before she could start running out and jiggle all over the place, she felt sothing within her. It was as though her blood was boiling--Moving much faster than it should.

Fanqia held onto the wall, keeping herself up as she felt sothing rise. There was no doubt about it, she was going to-

Fanqia puked out so sort of black, tar-like substance, leaving an awful taste in her mouth. Monts after ejecting it all, she suddenly felt much better... Much lighter even.

In the glass of a nearby cabinet, she saw her velvet eyes glowing faintly for a few monts, and soon enough, she began to emit so sort of velvet dust from all over her body. It took her several minutes to figure out how to stop it.

‘Is that pixie dust?’

For so reason, she felt as though she had suddenly gained a much deeper understanding of the ways of a Velvet Pixie. It was like her abilities had revealed themselves to her.

Unquestionably, she had fully awakened her innate bloodline.

“Yes! Lord Anoteros will be so proud!”

Then, she looked at the ss she had just made.

That was a bit embarrassing.

Fanqia retrieved a small bell she had placed on the workbench and softly rang it.

“Jingyi! I need so help over here… And a broom… And a mop as well…”

She always made sure to keep everything clean and tidy. This was actually her first ti calling on a maid for help, and despite it being natural for soone of her current status, it felt like an indescribably odd thing to do…

But still! She had awakened her bloodline! She would finally be able to be of great help to her lord-husband! She would be like a real matriarch, not just useful to warm the bed and help release her husband’s stress, but also create things for him!

The future was looking bright.
