Nala’s head spun. Today had been too much, first the attack of the Leviathan, then being saved by a man who died and returned before her eyes, then blurting out in her panic that she wanted to bear his children, only for him to seize upon it and pursue her relentlessly.

Now, as if the gods themselves were playing tricks, he was down on one knee, holding out a ring of impossible beauty.

It was dizzying. It was overwhelming. Part of her wanted nothing more than to collapse into bed and forget the world for a few hours. But she couldn’t, not when Cassius was kneeling there, looking at her with such earnestness.

He wasn’t joking. She could see it in his eyes.

And from the bottom of her heart, she was happy, so happy she thought she might burst. No one had ever gone this far for her, no one had ever made her feel so wanted. That ring glead like a dream she thought she would never touch.

She wanted to say yes. Gods, she wanted to say yes so badly. She wanted to slide that ring on her finger and let herself believe she was worthy of it.

But then the doubts surged back, her cursed blood, her abandonnt, the thought of his won, all powerful and radiant, beside whom she felt like nothing.

The ache of insecurity pressed into her chest until she sighed, her tail curling tight as she whispered,

"Cassius...first, get up. Please. I need to say sothing."

Cassius’s confident expression faltered imdiately. His smile wavered, his crimson eyes dimming as he looked down. With a self-deprecating laugh, he shook his head.

"Ah...so it’s like that. I honestly didn’t expect I’d be rejected here. But if that’s how it is, there’s nothing I can do."

His voice was heavy, forced lightness failing to cover the disappointnt bleeding through and Nala’s heart lurched. She shook her head so quickly her veil nearly slipped.

"No! No, Cassius, it’s not like that. I’m not rejecting you, not at all!"

"What?" His gaze snapped up, surprised, almost disbelieving. "Then...what do you an?"

"First, get up." She urged, fiddling with her fingers nervously.

When he rose, towering above her once more, she bit her lip, gathering her courage. Her cheeks burned, her voice wavered, but she forced the words out.

"Honestly..." She began, her voice barely a whisper. "This is quite embarrassing to admit, since I’ve never said sothing like this to anyone else, but..."

"...I think I also like you too. I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my life with you."

His eyes widened, and a brilliant, hopeful light returned to them.

"You’re a really interesting individual." She continued, a faint smile on her lips. "Not to ntion very funny. We get along quite well, more than anyone else I’ve ever t. And it’s also so obvious that you love ."

"I don’t know where else I would find a man who loves as much as you do. I would be stupid to let this opportunity go, especially since I seem to like you as well."

He took a step forward, the ring still clutched in his hand. "Then why? Why can’t you just accept my proposal? Can’t you just let put this on your finger?"

"Calm down! Calm down for a second, let explain." She said, holding up a hand. "Even though I feel that way, there’s sothing I have to tell you."

She looked at him with an honest, vulnerable gaze.

"Ever since I was a little child, I’ve had a sense of abandonnt in . I knew from a very young age that my parents had left behind in this strange place. From that age, I thought I was sothing or soone that no one wanted."

"And that feeling only grew as I got older, with how people looked at , with how strange they looked at . It finally solidified completely when my own clan threw away. They didn’t even allow to speak. They just threw rocks at ."

A deep sadness settled in her eyes.

"All of those factors...they made always feel as if I would be left behind, no matter what. Like the world would just move on without one day."

"And even though I normally don’t let it bother and just live my life, this is sothing I can’t easily accept with that in mind."

She looked up at him, her gaze raw.

"I’m scared that one day you might hurt too. That you might not like anymore and leave behind."

Cassius was about to shake his head vehently, to promise he would never, ever do such a thing.

But Nala quickly put a finger on his lips, her expression a mix of gentle affection and lingering fear.

"I know. I know what you’re going to say. I can see it, you’re not the kind of man who would do that. I know you an it. But Cassius..." She sighed, her shoulders shaking slightly. "It’s not sothing I can just make vanish overnight. It’s a fear I’ve carried all my life."

She looked at him again, brighter now, her smile laced with shy determination.

"That’s why...I want you to wait. Just a little longer. Tomorrow...let’s go out. A real date. Let show you who I am, what I like, what I hate, what kind of person I am. Let bare myself to you properly. And then, if you still want at the end of that day...then I’ll give you my answer."

Cassius’s gaze softened as he processed her words.

"So..." He said, reaching out to gently touch her hair. "You basically want to go on a date so that we can get to know one another. Or more like...so that I can make sure that I truly like you and it’s not just a bunch of feelings that co along the way, is that it?"

"Sothing like that." She whispered, her eyes pleading. "Would...would you mind?"

Cassius smiled, shaking his head slowly as if her worries were the silliest thing in the world.

"No, not at all. I wouldn’t mind in the slightest. Honestly, most couples go on dates first, get to know each other properly before marriage. I was the one who jumped the gun."

"So, if a date with you is what it takes, I’ll gladly wait...because if it ans I get to marry a girl like you, then it’s worth everything."

Her cheeks flushed at his words, and she fiddled with her fingers, but his gaze never wavered. After a pause, he tilted his head, his lips curving into a playful smirk.

"Although, I’m curious about sothing. Even if our date goes perfectly, what are the chances you’ll still reject at the end of the day?"

Nala blinked, caught off guard. She tapped her chin as if seriously thinking it over before shooting him a cheeky smile.

"Honestly? Nil. Zero. Absolutely none. You see..." She pointed at the glittering ring in his hand. "Ever since I laid eyes on that, I’ve been in love with it."

"...So, even if the date goes horribly wrong, I might still say yes, just so I can wear it."

Cassius groaned, rolling his eyes as a chuckle slipped from his lips. "Cheeky little snake."

"You already knew that about , didn’t you?" Her pout deepened, but her eyes sparkled with amusent as she said, "And besides, you already saw naked. That ans you have to take responsibility. I’m a pure girl, you know. I don’t let just anyone see my body like that."

"Oh, right..." Cassius drawled, leaning back with mock thoughtfulness before his grin widened into a wolfish smirk. "Now that you ntion it, I did see your naked breasts, didn’t I? Not only saw them, but I had them pressed all over my face. Gosh, they were so soft. Felt like heaven itself."

Nala jolted when she heard this, and she instinctively crossed her arms under her chest, staring down at the damp silks clinging to her body.

"You’re such a—!"

Before she could finish, Cassius leaned forward, his tone turning mischievous.

"Actually, that reminds . There’s a favor I’ve been aning to ask ever since I saw your dance earlier."

Her heart skipped. The way his gaze flickered down made her stomach knot. "W-What is it?" She asked nervously.

Cassius’s smirk only widened. "Take off that top you’re wearing. The silks. And...give a little dance."

Her whole body stiffened, her jaw dropping.

"W-What?! Cassius!" She whispered sharply, whipping her head toward the tavern as if terrified soone might overhear. "Are you crazy? There are people still inside! What if soone cos out here?!"

He waved it off casually.

"Don’t worry. They’re busy drinking themselves half-dead in there. And I’ve got good ears. If any guy cos close, I’ll notice before they even step outside." His eyes glead with anticipation. "Co on, Nala. While you danced, I was srized by every part of you, your hips, your belly...but also your breasts."

"Even with clothes on, they swayed and bounced so much I couldn’t look away. And it made wonder..." He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "...if they moved like that with silks on, how would they move with nothing holding them back?"

Her heart thundered in her chest, her whole body overheating under his words. She should refuse. She wanted to refuse.

"I-I’m a pure girl." She stamred weakly. "I don’t...I don’t do things like this outside of marriage..."

But then, as her eyes fell on the beautiful golden ring in his hand, her resolve wavered. She bit her lip, torn, before finally whispering in a small voice,

"B-But...you’ve made so happy today, Cassius. Again and again. And...you even offered sothing as precious as that ring. I can’t say no, not completely. Soone like you deserves a reward."

Before Cassius could even reply, her hands reached behind her back. With one nervous gulp, she tugged the silken wrap loose. The cloth slipped down her arms and fell to the deck with a soft rustle.

Her breasts spilled free, large, heavy, and impossibly enticing, crowned with dusky purple nipples that stood out proudly against her pale skin. The night air kissed them, making her shiver. Cassius’s eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat.

"Gods..." He whispered. "They’re even more amazing than I rembered."

His hands reached out instinctively, cupping her breasts, his thumbs brushing over her stiffening nipples. Nala let out a shaky whimper, her knees weakening at the sensation.

But then, suddenly, she pushed him back, forcing him to sit down on a chair. Cassius blinked in surprise, only to see her grin down at him with a mischievous spark.

"No touching." She said firmly, though her tone was playful. "You get to watch. That’s all."

Cassius sat back, a crooked smile forming on his lips. "Heh. Fine. I’ll watch."

Nala gave him one last sultry look, before pulling back. Her body swayed as she stepped away, her eyes locked with his, and then, she began to dance.

Even without music, her movents flowed like water. Her hips rolled slowly, hypnotically, her belly rippling in perfect waves, her tail gliding along the deck in graceful arcs.

Her hands traced along her body as she moved, emphasizing every curve.

And her breasts, bare now, swayed and bounced freely with every motion, the soft flesh jiggling in ti with her hips, the sight utterly intoxicating.

Cassius could only sit there, transfixed, his mouth dry, his eyes wide with raw desire and seeing this, Nala’s lips curled into a sly, enchanting smile. Every sway of her hips, every bounce of her breasts, every ripple of her belly was for him and him alone.

Nala also knew she had him under her spell, every movent of her hips making Cassius sink deeper into hunger. He looked at her like a man bewitched, and the way his eyes followed her curves only fueled her confidence.

She pushed herself harder, swaying her breasts in a bold rhythm, tempted to lean in close and press them right against his face just to see him unravel completely—

—but the sharp creak of the tavern door cut through the night.

Nala froze mid-motion, her head snapping toward the sound, while Julie’s voice rang out.

"Cassius, we have a proble—"

She stopped dead, words strangled in her throat. Her eyes landed on the sight before her:

Cassius lounging comfortably in his seat, and Nala, standing in the open moonlight, breasts bare, her body poised in a sultry pose as if she’d been caught in the middle of pleasuring him with her dance.

The realization hit Nala like lightning. Her face turned pink as she whirled toward Cassius, clutching her chest in both arms.

"Cassius!" She hissed, mortified. "What in the world is this?! You told you could hear if anyone was coming and you would warn !"

"Mm, I said I wouldn’t allow any man to see us." Cassius chuckled, completely unbothered. "Never promised anything about my companions."

Nala’s mouth dropped.

"Y-You sly cheat!" She sputtered, glaring at him with fury and embarrassnt. Then she turned to Julie, her voice tumbling out in flustered apologies.

"S-Sorry! I’m so sorry you had to see that! Forget it ever happened!"

Without waiting for a reply, she scrambled to scoop up her clothes, fumbling as she covered herself while slithering off toward the lake like she was fleeing the scene of a cri.

anwhile, Cassius leaned back in his chair, utterly amused, his grin lazy as he watched her retreat. Then his gaze slid to Julie, who was still frozen in place.

"Co on, Julie." He said with a teasing drawl. "Did you really have to interrupt my lap dance? I was enjoying a damn fine show."

Julie blinked, her eyes snapping to him in disbelief, while he smirked wider, leaning forward.

"And you know, since you ruined it...you ought to take her place. Take off your top, give a dance."

That snapped her out of her daze and she glared at him like she wanted to take a bite out of him. "As if! As if I’d ever do sothing so shaless, you deviant!"

"Worth a try."

Julie shook her head vigorously, trying to push the image out of her mind, and muttered, "T-that’s not why I ca here."

"Oh?" His brow lifted, interest flickering.

Julie shifted on her feet, crossing her arms but unable to hide the faint flush still lingering on her face.

"We...we have a problem." She admitted. Her tone was quieter now, laced with frustration, and just a touch of unease. "And it’s...embarrassing. I honestly don’t know how to deal with it."

Cassius tilted his head, curiosity piqued. For once, he sobered, his smile thinning into sothing gentler.

"A problem, hm? And one that makes you blush...Now you’ve really got my attention, Julie."
