“Bai Jingqing, you’ve gone too far! Open the door, I want to get out!” Bai Qianqian yelled.
“I haven’t locked the door yet.”

Bai Qianqian imdiately reached to open the car door, but Bai Jingqing quickly locked it, saying, “Don’t get mad, let finish what I have to say.”

“Qianqian, I want you to co with ; this bouquet is just a courtesy! She gave the ticket, I can’t just show up empty-handed. Don’t be jealous, we’ll go there together. Isn’t that a clear ssage to her that she has no chance?” Bai Jingqing realized just then, a jealous woman could indeed be very terrifying.

His words had stunned her. So he had planned to bring her along to attend his ex-girlfriend’s concert.

Bai Jingqing drove Bai Qianqian to dinner before heading to Mi Qingwei’s concert. The concert wasn’t very big; after all, Mi Qingwei wasn’t that well-known.
When Bai Jingqing showed up backstage, flowers in hand, Mi Qingwei was getting ready. Seeing him, she stood up excitedly. Looking at the bouquet in Bai Jingqing’s hand, her smile grew even brighter.
Just as she was about to approach him, a slim figure entered from outside.
The mont Mi Qingwei saw Bai Qianqian, her face froze. Qianqian noticed her reaction and felt awkward and uneasy.
Actually, Mi Qingwei’s reaction made it clear that she still had feelings for Bai Jingqing.
If she truly thought of Bai Jingqing as just an ordinary friend, there wouldn’t have been such a drastic change in her behavior.
“Miss Mi, congratulations. You’ve finally fulfilled your dream.” Bai Jingqing approached her and handed her the flowers.
“Tha… thank you.” It took a long ti for Mi Qingwei to find her voice, but everything now seed ironically bitter to her.
“Qianqian and I will go in now, not to disturb your preparations.” Bai Jingqing gave her a nod, walked over to Bai Qianqian, and took her hand.
“I also invited Rui Qing over today.” Mi Qingwei looked at the intertwined hands of the two, not sure why she said that.
Bai Qianqian stiffened, while Bai Jingqing didn’t react much. He just nodded at her, and pulled Bai Qianqian away.
“We should leave, we can’t let senior Rui Qing see us together.” Bai Qianqian nervously tried to pull her hand away.
“Bai Qianqian!” Bai Jingqing suddenly called her na, startling her. She looked at him nervously, “Stop avoiding it. I’ve made up my mind. We’ll face it together, whatever the difficulties are!”
Bai Qianqian, “…”
“Rui Qing has attempted suicide once, I believe he won’t try it again! Constantly accommodating him isn’t good for him either, it only hinders him from facing reality! It’s ti for him to face reality.” Bai Jingqing firmly held her hand.
