An Xiaonuan didn’t think of herself as particularly kind or noble. Although she did help the orphanage, at tis like now, when she was ’imprisoned’ by him, and had quit her job, she had little inco and naturally couldn’t give money to the orphanage.
Back then, when he had a broken leg, she took care of him the sa way, even wanting to contribute her own money to him.
At tis like this, when she couldn’t donate to the orphanage, she didn’t feel anxious.

Huangfu Ye looked at her, seemingly understanding her aning. Abandoned by family since childhood, used as a living organ bank by her biological mother, and always at risk of being sold.

"Enough about , what happened to Bai Qianqian? What’s going on?" An Xiaonuan felt there was nothing more to say about herself.
Huangfu Ye sighed heavily, recounting the events to her. Bringing up Bai Qianqian again affected his mood, to the point of losing his appetite.
"What? So now what? Just give up because you can’t find her? How can that be? You have to keep looking! Once you finish the soup, hurry and go!"
An Xiaonuan didn’t have friends. While she wasn’t particularly close to Bai Qianqian and Gu Qingxin, she considered them friends.
"Our people only withdrew early this morning. That place can’t be found... and my second brother said there’s no need to search anymore... I have a feeling Bai Qianqian is fine, that soone surely saved her." Huangfu Ye sat the agitated An Xiaonuan down.
"Really? She’s really okay?" An Xiaonuan still felt uneasy.
"We all trust my second brother. Don’t worry." Huangfu Ye comforted her.

An Xiaonuan knew in situations like this, worrying wouldn’t solve anything. All she could do now was pray for Bai Qianqian’s luck and safety.

When Gu Qingxin received Bai Qianqian’s call, her heart almost stopped. In her excitent, she fell out of bed, hitting hard, but she didn’t care. She sat there laughing and crying.
Bai Qianqian repeatedly instructed her not to tell Bai Jingqing about their contact.
Although Gu Qingxin didn’t understand her intentions, she respected her choice.
After exchanging a few words, they hung up. Gu Qingxin ran to the bathroom, jumping joyfully until soone knocked on the door, whereupon she quickly cald herself, turned on the faucet, and pretended to wash her face.
Beiming Han walked in, looking at her, "What happened just now?"
"What happened?" Gu Qingxin squeezed so facial foam and began to wash her face.
"Really nothing?" Beiming Han was worried she’d have so ntal issue, given her bad mood since Bai Qianqian’s incident.
"Hmm, I’m hungry. Is dinner ready?"
"I’ll go check downstairs. Wash your face and co down." With that, Beiming Han turned and left upon hearing she was hungry.
