"What’s up?"
"I want to make a sweater for Baobao with my own hands. I’ve been injured lately and can’t go to school, so I can only stay ho." Gu Qingxin said a bit gloomily as she scrolled the mouse.
"You could knit it for next winter." Beiming Han suggested.
Gu Qingxin quickly turned to look at him. Oh right, why hadn’t she thought of that?
"Hubby, you’re so smart! Thank you!" Gu Qingxin hugged him and gave him a kiss, then turned around to start checking Baobao’s height and weight chart.
Beiming Han’s gaze beca even softer. He held her, and they picked out yarn colors, textures, and which pattern would look nice together.
Xiao Yi ran out of the room excitedly and asked, "Qingxin sis, are you having a baby again? Like mom, are you having a baby?"
Gu Qingxin put down the computer, stood up, and walked over to hug him and said, "Yeah."
"That’s great! Then I’ll have two little brothers to play with , and I’ll be the big brother!" Xiao Yi jumped for joy.
"How do you know they’re two little brothers?" Gu Qingxin looked at him puzzled.
"Uncle Xiao Huo said that mom’s belly must have a brother, so I guessed that sis’s belly must have a brother too." Xiao Yi felt his reasoning was spot on.
"Maybe it’s a little sister?" Gu Qingxin listened to his logic and found it a bit amusing.
"A sister? How could it be a sister? It must be a brother! Qingxin sis, I believe you!" Xiao Yi patted Gu Qingxin’s shoulder earnestly.
Gu Qingxin turned her head to look at Beiming Han, waiting for him to criticize and educate this little rascal who favored boys over girls. But Beiming Han just smiled and packed up the computer.
"I’m going to do so work in the study. Xiao Yi, don’t bother your sister. Baobao is very delicate; since you’re the big brother, you have to take good care of him, okay?" Beiming Han reached out and pinched his nose.
"Okay, Uncle Han, go do your work. I’ll take care of Qingxin sis and brother." Xiao Yi said seriously, as if bearing a heavy responsibility.
"Ugh..." Gu Qingxin looked dejectedly at Beiming Han’s back. What did he an? Could it be he also favors boys over girls!
That’s too much, way too much!
Gu Qingxin sulkily returned to the sofa and sat down. Xiao Yi ca over and asked, "Qingxin sis, what’s wrong? Who upset you?"
"Whoever was just here, it was that person!" Gu Qingxin glared at him. So young, yet being taught to favor boys over girls by that Lan Liehuo guy? Unacceptable.
"Oh, Uncle Han, then I’ll help you teach him a lesson!" Xiao Yi said and turned to run.
Gu Qingxin, "..."
Ye Yingsu walked out, seeing Gu Qingxin sitting there sulking, and asked, "What’s wrong? Who made you angry?"
"Your son, he just insisted that the baby in my belly is a boy."
"You’ll get used to it. He’s already been bought over by Lan Liehuo. Now, whatever Lan Liehuo says goes. That scoundrel insists that the baby in my belly is a boy, and Xiao Yi is mimicking him." Ye Yingsu sat down.
"Where’s Lan Liehuo then? Isn’t he always around? Where did he go these days?" Gu Qingxin asked.
"Said he had so urgent business and went back ho! After he left, there’s been no news at all!" Ye Yingsu took a plum from the table and took a bite.
"Why? Do you miss him?" Gu Qingxin blinked at her.
"Miss him? ! Hmph~~~" Ye Yingsu continued to bite the plum.
"It’s no big deal if you miss him. He is a pretty good guy after all."
