"Anyone can see it. Beiming Han probably knows too... he just doesn’t see the need to lay it out for you." Ye Yingsu smiled.
Gu Qingxin, however, felt like crying. "How could Ye Qi possibly like ?"
"Why not? You’re pretty, you’re gentle and cute, you’ve got a good temper. It’d be weird if n didn’t like you... it’s only that soone with Lan Liehuo’s freaky taste would go for ."
"I thought he only said that to deceive Beiming Jue." Gu Qingxin couldn’t even describe what she was feeling—just weird and very uncomfortable!
"If he didn’t co up with a real-sounding reason, do you think everyone else is stupid? That they’d just believe him that easily? Of course he had to find a reason that sounded real enough to be convincing." Ye Yingsu said.
Gu Qingxin was completely depressed now, her heart in even more painful turmoil. How could Ye Qi really like her?
When she first heard him say it, she’d been scared stiff. Then she thought about it the whole way back, and finally convinced herself he only said it on purpose for Beiming Jue to hear, to protect her.

Gu Qingxin’s right hand was injured, and she wasn’t as capable as Beiming Han, who could basically use both hands equally well. So eating, showering, getting dressed—pretty much everything—fell on Beiming Han.
