After a period of chaos, two hours had passed. Bai Jingqing walked out, looking at An Xiaonuan, who was asleep, and pondered over the question Huangfu Ye had just asked him.
"Second brother."
"It’s okay." Bai Jingqing only said these two words, unable to say it’s good, only that the situation was okay.
"What’s wrong with Xiao Nuan? Is she like this because of her disfigurent?" Huangfu Ye was heartbroken to the point of wanting to dig his heart out and throw it away.

"Ming Yang died too easily!" Huangfu Ye said through gritted teeth.

"An Xiaonuan shouldn’t know Ming Yang, and from the ti An Xiaonuan was kidnapped until we found her, judging by her severe burns, she should have no understanding of Ming Yang." Bai Jingqing thought, since that’s the case, An Xiaonuan’s first reaction upon waking shouldn’t be this.
Regarding soone she doesn’t know who kidnapped her, her first reaction upon waking shouldn’t be to rush out recklessly, right?

"Do you rember that when Xiao Nuan was kidnapped, there was a detail where Ming Yang switched cars with her? Do you think at that ti, he had parked the car there in advance, or did soone et up with him? If so, would that person be soone Xiao Nuan knows?"
Huangfu Ye looked at him; since An Xiaonuan had been rescued, his whole heart was tied to her injuries, just hoping she would wake up and recover quickly. He couldn’t calm himself to think about those issues anymore.
To him, nothing was more important than An Xiaonuan’s life.
"Who is it really? If I find out who wants to harm Xiao Nuan, I’ll definitely skin that person!" Huangfu Ye said through gritted teeth.
"I’m just speculating right now; this matter needs further investigation. The most important thing now is to treat Xiao Nuan’s injuries." Bai Jingqing patted his shoulder, advising him not to dwell on it.
Huangfu Ye nodded, stood up, and went to look after An Xiaonuan.
Bai Jingqing’s phone rang, and he took a look at it; it was a call from the laboratory. He imdiately answered the call.
"Dean Bai, the results of the test you requested are ready."
Bai Jingqing’s breath hitched, and he didn’t imdiately ask about the results but quickly said, "I’ll be right there."
He hung up the phone, and surprisingly, he felt almost too nervous to move.
"Second brother, what’s wrong?" Huangfu Ye turned to look at him.
"Take good care of Xiao Nuan. I’ll... I’ll be back soon." Bai Jingqing took a deep breath and quickly left the ICU.
Huangfu Ye frowned, watching him leave, and then turned back to continue guarding An Xiaonuan.
When Bai Jingqing arrived at the laboratory, the results were already laid out. The physician in charge of the test stood up, calling out, "Dean Bai."
"You go out first." Bai Jingqing instructed.
"Yes!" The physician imdiately stood up and left.
