Ye Qi brought all the costics to the hospital. Bai Jingqing had them tested and indeed, a substance that could cause severe allergic reactions was detected in a foundation.
The makeup artist was questioned, but she repeatedly claid that she didn’t know. Huangfu Ye threatened her that she would be prosecuted if she didn’t tell the truth, but she still claid she didn’t know.
Because she genuinely didn’t know.
Huangfu Ye, unable to get any information, decided to report back to Beiming Han, who was watching from a monitor.
“This person isn’t lying. Continue to investigate discreetly on the island, and ensure that you find sothing. There should be a surveillance cara in the makeup room, right?”
Huangfu Ye took another trip to the island himself and inspected the makeup room. As it was a roadside room turned into a makeshift makeup room, there wasn’t any surveillance cara in there.
However, Huangfu Ye noticed that there was a surveillance cara installed in the shop across the street, which could capture the people who went in and out of the makeup room.
Huangfu Ye promptly ordered soone to break down the shop’s door and took away the computer.
So it was her!
Having watched the surveillance footage from yesterday just once, Huangfu Ye had identified the suspect.

When Beiming Han heard the results, a deadly smile crossed his face. But he didn’t imdiately decide the punishnt for Huang Jiaxin. Instead, he ordered people to, “Check how many scenes this woman still has left in this comrcial.”
If Huang Jiaxin dared to harm his beloved in such a cruel way, she was practically seeking death. But he was not in a hurry to deal with her. He would let her finish filming the comrcial!

When Beiming Han returned to the hospital room, he applied the dication to Gu Qingxin’s face again. Gu Qingxin woke up montarily, only to be cradled by Beiming Han who gently told her, “Sleep.”
Comforted by his scent, Gu Qingxin closed her eyes peaceably and drifted back to sleep.
When she woke up the next day, it was already bright outside. Beiming Han was not in the room. Even though she felt slightly disappointed, her first instinct was to jump off the bed to check her reflection in the mirror.
Looking at her face in the mirror, she finally sighed in relief. Although there were still patches of red, her face was no longer as swollen as the previous night which had terrified her!
The door to the hospital room pushed open and Gu Qingxin imdiately erged from the bathroom. She thought it would be Beiming Han who had returned, but instead it was Bai Jingqing who stepped in.
Bai Jingqing didn’t miss the disappointnt in her eyes and smiled, “Seems like I’m not welco.”
“No, weren’t you sick? Why are you walking around? You should be resting properly,” Gu Qingxin explained awkwardly.
“Nothing significant, I haven’t been sick for many years. Even when I am, I can’t lay down for long.” Bai Jingqing advised her to go back to her bed.
“How’s your head wound?”
Gu Qingxin knew Bai Jingqing must be heartbroken. He had risked his life for Qianqian and yet, Qianqian had secretly left the hospital.
“It needed a few stitches, but it should be fine.” Bai Jingqing examined her face and comnted, “Your recovery looks good, but you need to watch your diet and avoid seafood.”
“That’s fine, I can take it as an opportunity to lose weight.”
“Clean your face once more and apply this dication. This one is the last layer, guaranteeing that after the symptoms disappear, your skin will be even better.” Bai Jingqing handed her another bottle.
Gu Qingxin, following Bai Jingqing’s instructions, applied the dication and then went back to the bed. She planned to call Xiao Zirui and Ming Shang to inform them about her situation, fearing they might be worried.
When Beiming Han ca back with breakfast, he observed her sitting there looking troubled. Seeing him, Gu Qingxin imdiately broke into a smile.
