"That’s good, just a little interruption, I hope you don’t mind."

"Not at all, Lord Spade."

Qian Chengxue replied with a smile.

Standing behind Spade, Luo ng coughed and said, "Spade, let’s get straight to the point."

"Alright, where are Su Mo’s supplies?"

Seeing that Luo ng and the others couldn’t wait, Spade straightforwardly asked.

"Follow , I’ll take you to get them."

Su Mo replied with a smile and led everyone towards the Observer Base.

Soon after, they arrived at the second basent level of the Observer Base, where a large open area was filled with neatly packed supply crates.

Luo ng and the others were grinning from ear to ear at the sight, and their soldiers’ eyes were shining.

However, they restrained themselves, as this batch was ant for the Federation, and Spade hadn’t spoken yet.

Spade was generous; he waved to his subordinates behind him and said, "Go inventory and transport the goods, divide all the supplies evenly into five parts, each Allied Country gets one share."

"Lord Spade is truly magnanimous, we will rember this favor."

Beilo and others expressed their gratitude upon hearing Spade’s words.

Thus, soldiers from various countries stepped forward to begin moving the supplies.

Gazing at the batch of supplies, Spade remarked, "With these supplies, we can last at least another year without any issues. By then, new supplies should be on their way."

"Almost."

Su Mo agreed and nodded.

"We really have to thank Mr. Su Mo for this."

Luo ng and the others expressed thanks politely.

"You’re too kind, my lords."

Su Mo smiled warmly as he exchanged pleasantries.

At this mont, a few NCOs returned with peculiar expressions.

"Lord Spade....."

"What’s wrong? Is there a problem?"

Noticing the odd expressions on the NCOs, Spade and the others promptly asked.

"Uh, there’s no problem with the supplies, but when we unpacked them, most of them bore the Imperial Army’s markings."

The NCOs replied with puzzled looks.

Spade and the others looked at Su Mo in confusion.

"Su Mo, what’s going on?"

Su Mo scratched his head and replied with a grin, "It’s just that the supplies were insufficient, so I borrowed so from the Imperial Army."

Spade’s face twitched, and he smilingly replied, "Like the Imperial Army would lend them to you."

"Haha, if they don’t lend them, I’ll just help myself."

Su Mo replied with a chuckle.

With eyes wide open, Luo ng and the others asked in disbelief, "Did you really snatch these from the Imperial Army?"

"Yes, and that Blue Whale outside was also borrowed from them."

Su Mo admitted openly.

Upon hearing this, Spade burst out laughing and jokingly scolded Su Mo, "You rascal, you really have a knack for this. It’s a sha you’re not an interstellar pirate."

"Ahem, Lord Spade, listen to yourself. I’ve always been a law-abiding citizen."

Su Mo laughed and explained.

"Saying it like that, probably no one would believe it. But rest assured, I’m not here to criticize you. On the contrary, you’ve done exceptionally well; the Imperial Army must be having a hard ti."

Spade’s face was filled with laughter.

At this mont, several Allied Country NCOs hurriedly ran over and spoke to Beilo and the others.

"Commander, the ores we stored in the warehouse have disappeared."

At their report, Luo ng and others’ expressions changed dramatically.

"What did you say?"

"Uh, don’t worry, those ores have been loaded onto the ship by us. I’ll have them unloaded for you right away."

Su Mo awkwardly explained, finding this situation quite embarrassing.

"Ahem, so it was Mr. Su Mo who helped us load them onto the ship. That’s alright, no need to unload them now. Mr. Su Mo, you plan to return soon, right?"

Luo ng quickly adapted, his expression changing rapidly, going from panic to a broad smile.

"Yes, I’m about to return."

Su Mo nodded in agreent.

At this point, Spade spoke with unusual seriousness, "The sooner you return, the better. Transport the ores back to the Federation quickly. If I rember correctly, the Federation’s due date for repaynt is approaching, and the loan from Star Ring City must not be overdue."

"Alright, no problem."

Su Mo promptly agreed.

"Then we must trouble Mr. Su Mo to help transport our ores back with yours."

Luo ng and the others, all with ingratiating expressions, chid in. It’s not only the Federation that needs to repay loans; they do as well.

"This...."

For a mont, Su Mo was unsure how to respond. It wasn’t that he was unwilling to transport for them, but he certainly couldn’t do it for free, right?

Before Su Mo could co up with an answer, Spade spoke to Luo ng and the others with a smile, "The journey through the stars is long and perilous. Su Mo helping you transport the ores is no issue, but you should show so gratitude. We can’t let a good person feel unappreciated."

Gavor, catching on quickly, said with a sycophantic grin, "Lord Spade, don’t say that; we’re all part of the Alliance. Helping each other with cargo along the way and talking about benefits is just asking to be laughed at."

"Commander Gavor, that’s not right. Su Mo is no longer a Federation soldier; he has retired. He’s now delivering goods under the na of a private company. When a private company does work, even the Federation pays. How can you not pay?"

Spade deftly distanced Su Mo from the Federation System, smiling as he spoke.

"Lord Spade is right. Since it’s a private company, we should at least show so appreciation. How about 1% of the cargo value as a reward?"

Beilo replied with a beaming smile.

"Commander Beilo, what you said isn’t generous enough. After all, Su Mo took on life-threatening risks delivering supplies to rescue us from crisis. We shouldn’t let his spirits dampen. That 1% shipping fee doesn’t even cover the Star Coin remote transfer fee."

Spade shook his head with a smile, showing dissatisfaction.

Silvia, looking bewildered, said, "Lord Spade, we did take the supplies, but we paid for them as well."

"Commander Silvia, don’t think of it like that. I provided those supplies to you at cost price. We are on Ceres now; we should count ourselves lucky to have bought supplies at this price."

Spade said with a chuckle.

At this point, Luo ng spoke generously, "Spade, there’s no need to say more. We aren’t stingy. Ask Su Mo to help us transport the supplies back; we’ll offer 5% as a freight fee."

Hearing this, Su Mo’s eyes lit up. Wow, that’s easy money! He was overjoyed, feeling that Spade was indeed reliable.

But to everyone’s surprise, Spade shook his head and laughed, "That won’t do! That’s not quite enough!"

When he said this, Luo ng and the others were caught off guard, even Su Mo was stunned, as he was already quite satisfied.

"Spade, isn’t that enough?"

Luo ng frowned and said.

"You need to understand, long-distance transport cos with high risk. A 10% freight fee isn’t too much to ask, given the circumstances."

Spade was determined to help Su Mo rack up a substantial fee.
