Emperor Marcus took out an anonymous Star Ring City bank card and slapped it onto the table with a smile.
Arcav looked at the bank card on the table, his mouth twitching continuously, but he didn’t touch it.
Although he liked money, this money was too hot to handle; Galmotos Empire’s money wasn’t so easy to take.
“Emperor Marcus, what do you an by this? I can’t accept rewards without reason. I’m just an insignificant official with little courage, and it seems there’s nothing I can do for you?”

Emperor Marcus declared boldly.

After listening, Arcav’s face lit up with a radiant smile.
Delroco smiled as he spoke to Emperor Marcus.
“Rest assured, Arcav is quite reliable in his work.”
“Haha, Lord Delroco’s judgnt cannot be wrong; I naturally trust that.”
Emperor Marcus responded with a hearty laugh.
“Indeed, indeed….”
Arcav’s expression twitched a bit; he could obviously hear the warning implied, yet he still responded with a grin.
Shortly after, Emperor Marcus and Delroco left the office.
Delroco calmly spoke to Emperor Marcus: “Arcav is as slippery as an eel, but he has one great trait; he’s astute and submits to gentle pressure. Rest assured, as long as no major figures step in, he won’t budge.”
“Thank you, this gift is for you.”
Emperor Marcus suddenly stopped, taking up a gift box and handing it to Delroco.
Delroco was slightly surprised, taking the box and opening it just a bit, then peeking inside.
His composed face imdiately showed intense astonishnt.

Delroco didn’t argue further.
Their relationship was indeed such that there was no need for evasion.

He took up an envelope, handing it over to Delroco.
“No problem.”
Delroco listened and chuckled as he accepted it.

Su Mo dressed in a white leisure suit and Qian Chengxue in a white floral dress walked within the alley.
In his hand was a large plastic bag containing white paper money and other items.
At this mont, Qian Chengxue’s mood was terribly upset; all through the night, regardless of how she approached, Su Mo remained like a blockhead, refusing to wake up, nearly making her fu with anger.
“Should be about right.”
Su Mo checked and said.
Qian Chengxue imdiately snapped out of it, shaking her head with a smile: “Those items are pretty much ready, but we should buy so fruits, flowers, cakes, and wine.”
“Right, right…. Look at my mory, focused on buying these, forgot to buy other things, you’re more detail-oriented.”
Su Mo responded brightly. Whether it was because soone slept beside him, providing security, he slept soundly last night, and this morning felt quite refreshed.
“Let’s go, we’ll check out the front. Those things are easy to buy; we’ll have them on the street soon.”
Qian Chengxue said with a smile to Su Mo.
“Mm.”
Su Mo replied with a nod.
Soon, they arrived at a supermarket, picking out items.

Long after, Su Mo and Qian Chengxue drove towards the cetery area in Demon City outskirts.
The pair carried the items for worship and walked inside.
The cetery appeared desolate and quiet, with scarcely any people apart from so patrolling elderly guards.
Nearby trees occasionally hosted a few cawing crows.
Qian Chengxue observed the surroundings, sowhat surprised. She had expected Su Mo, being wealthy, would have his parents and grandfather buried in a private grave; yet, they were in a public cetery.
Before long, they reached the deepest part.
“This is it.”
Su Mo inhaled deeply and spoke.

The left gravestone inscribed with Li Longtian and Li Qiran’s nas, alongside a photograph of a young couple in the center. The right grave belonged to his grandfather.
Further right was an empty grave, although with a tombstone erected, indicating it was sealed with a cent slab, representing the unoccupied state of this burial plot.
