Hearing the voice and seeing his injuries, Su Mo imdiately realized that this guy should be the Short Blade man from before.

He replied, a bit confused, "That’s sothing I should be asking you guys. What do you want to do?"

"Kid, you’ve got guts! And quite a mouth. If you ask , let’s break one of his arms before interrogating him."

Just then, a voice like a thunderclap echoed, and a burly man, standing four ters tall, covered in bruises, with muscles like steel, dressed in a black fur coat, and wearing steel gauntlets, walked over.

To be fair, it wasn’t surprising they were so angry at Su Mo, as they had found that Anti-Matter Bomb in the corner, which scared them senseless.

"Wait, aren’t you guys with that other guy?"

Su Mo realized and asked.

"What other guy?"

Bagley completely didn’t understand.

At this mont, a woman with pink hair, wearing a white lace robe, with a pure and gentle deanor, an impressively large chest, a tall fra, and clear eyes, walked over and said calmly, "We’ll give you one chance to explain everything clearly. Otherwise, you’ll face the consequences in Star Ring City, because the charges against you, such as terrorizing Kedora Fortress and attacking the Royal Order, all carry the death penalty."

"You guys are from Star Ring City?"

Su Mo looked up at the three in front of him.

"No kidding."

Bagley replied coldly.

Su Mo’s expression turned blank, he swallowed hard, and a thousand raging horses ran through his mind as he thought to himself.

"I’m screwed, hit my own people. No, wait, why panic? They attacked first."

So Su Mo calmly said, "Damn, this is a setup. You guys have got the wrong person. I’m not the bad guy; I’m the one catching bad guys."

Hearing Su Mo’s words, Loren and the others exchanged looks, with strange expressions in their eyes.

"Kid, do you think arguing will work? You’re trying to say you weren’t carrying that Anti-Matter Bomb, but soone else was, and you were trying to stop them, right?"

"Exactly, that’s it."

Su Mo replied quickly.

"Bullshit, you’re shaless. No surprise, people from the Fallen God Sect are all slippery."

Bagley cursed roughly.

"Hey, what do I need to say for you to believe ? I’m not from the Fallen God Sect. Really—it wasn’t . If you don’t believe it, check the surveillance footage, it’s clear."

Su Mo said with a mix of bitterness and humor.

"Are you referring to this surveillance footage?"

Xia Weiya said with interest, snapping her fingers as a virtual image popped up.

The footage showed Su Mo moving sneakily alone, hiding and dodging, with no one else in sight in the entire image.

Unfortunately, the area where the incident occurred wasn’t yet developed, so there was no footage there.

Su Mo’s expression grew increasingly awkward; he regretted ntioning the surveillance, as it made him look guilty.

"Kid, what else do you have to say?"

Bagley asked sternly.

"I’m really being wronged."

Su Mo was at a loss for words to defend himself.

Just then, the interrogation room door opened, and several doctors entered with equipnt, without a word, examining Su Mo’s body.

"What are you going to do?"

Su Mo asked, bewildered.

"To confirm if you’re one of the fallen, then we’ll see how you explain yourself."

Loren said coldly.

Not long after Loren finished speaking, the doctor in charge of the examination looked up and reported respectfully, "Sirs, he is not a fallen specin."

"How is that possible? Did you make a mistake?"

Loren was also sowhat incredulous; the guy had such heavy pollution on him.

"His body, although heavily polluted by negative energy, hasn’t mutated; everything is normal."

The diagnostic doctor explained further.

Xia Weiya was also sowhat surprised.

"See, I’m not lying. I’m really not from the Fallen God Sect, you have to believe ."

Su Mo said with ecstasy.

"However, his body is indeed quite strange. Normally, with this level of pollution, he should have fallen by now, but he hasn’t. If you’re going to execute him, why not let our lab research him first?"

The lead doctor said with a sowhat fervent look.

"Bullshit, I’ve already said I’m not a bad guy, you’ve got the wrong person."

Su Mo’s expression collapsed imdiately, anxious to defend himself.

"Just because you’re not a fallen specin doesn’t an you’re innocent."

Loren said cautiously.

"Listen to my explanation, that guy can turn invisible. Look closely at the surveillance footage, doesn’t it look like I’m following soone?"

Su Mo explained helplessly.

"You say it wasn’t you, then where’s the other person? Escaped? The place you went to was a dead end, do you take us for fools?"

Bagley glared angrily at Su Mo.

"I tell you, the other person disintegrated on the spot, do you believe it?"

Su Mo swallowed and said.

In response to Su Mo’s words, Loren’s eyes flickered with thought, then he spoke, "Everything you’re saying is baseless, and you sneaked into a restricted area late at night. Plus, they found an Anti-Matter Bomb on site. Do you think we’ll buy your story?"

"I’ve been frad, it was completely accidental. Actually, I was out on a date."

Su Mo genuinely felt exhausted.

"Complete nonsense."

Loren sneered.

"Well, not necessarily."

Suddenly Xia Weiya said calmly, as she was flipping through Su Mo’s SMS ssages.

"Hey, don’t go through soone’s private stuff randomly."

Seeing this, Su Mo was also anxious.

At this mont, Loren curiously asked.

"Hmm? Why do you say that?"

"Take a look; these are his SMS ssages."

Xia Weiya handed over the phone.

Loren and Bagley leaned in to see.

Su Mo really wanted to carp about their lack of respect for privacy, but decided to swallow the words instead.

"This just looks like normal chat ssages, doesn’t it?"

After looking, Loren said, puzzled.

"Not necessarily, see this ssage? Wow, it’s like thunder there, does your girl snore too? The term ’thunder’ here is definitely a code, surely referring to explosive action."

Bagley pointed to the ssage, declaring confidently.

Loren’s mouth twitched, unsure of what to say.

"Probably not, I think it was just regular snoring, as they’re staying in an eight-person dorm after all."

Xia Weiya said calmly.

"Then what do you an?"

Bagley asked, a bit embarrassed.

"It probably was just a date. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be this kind of ssage."

Xia Weiya said calmly.

"You an, we really made a mistake?"

Bagley asked, sowhat bewildered.

Xia Weiya didn’t waste words, instead, she simply grabbed Su Mo by the collar and said, "I’ll give you a chance to reconstruct for us everything that happened tonight."

"Alright."

Hearing this, Su Mo couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
