A mont later, Buseray ca in and spoke to Kyarat.
"Your Highness."
Kyarat handed the report to Buseray and said, "Take a look."
After reading it carefully, Buseray frowned and said, "Your Highness, isn’t this a bit risky?"
"We must take the risk. Our exploration plan has had no progress for too long; consider this a small test."
Kyarat explained.
"Alright, I understand. When is the timing chosen? I should have people start preparing to be on high alert, just in case!"
Buseray nodded in response.
"Set it for 2 AM, go ahead."
Kyarat waved casually.
Just as Buseray was about to leave, he suddenly stopped and turned to Kyarat and asked, "Your Highness, but what about Su Mo?"
"You don’t need to worry about that; I’ll have soone give him more alcohol so he sleeps soundly tonight."
Kyarat chose the dead of night with a calculated intention.
"Understood."
Buseray respectfully retreated.
After Buseray left, Kyarat pondered for a mont, then with a wave of his hand, pulled up a virtual interface and input a ssage to send out.
It wasn’t long before the door of the office sounded with a knock.
Knock Knock!
"Co in."
Kyarat said nonchalantly.
Krisia walked in and spoke lightly to Kyarat.
"Brother, you were looking for ."
Kyarat turned to gaze at Krisia, no longer with the gentle expression from before, coldly said to her.
"Bringing back Su Mo for us is a variable, you should know how foolish your actions were. But considering he likes you, and he does have so value, I won’t hold it against you. We’ve decided to comnce the first round of experints at 2 AM, find a way to give him more alcohol so he sleeps well, and doesn’t interfere with our matters, otherwise you know the consequences."
"I understand."
Krisia replied lightly.
"Go."
Kyarat replied solemnly.
...
In the evening, Su Mo was once again led to the dining room by a maid.
The dinner was still very lavish.
And seated at the table were only Krisia and Su Mo.
Krisia personally opened a bottle of high-proof brandy, poured a full glass for Su Mo, and said lightly to him.
"Commander Su Mo, you must have a lot to take care of, staying here for too long isn’t very appropriate, is it?"
Su Mo’s smile stiffened slightly; it was clear Krisia was once again issuing an eviction notice.
It seed like the incident this morning had irritated her sowhat.
However, Su Mo thought for a mont, then smiled and said, "It’s indeed not very appropriate; I was actually thinking that it might be ti to leave."
At this ti, the creator Swallower spoke in a deep voice.
"Oh, willing to leave now?"
Su Mo replied to the creator Swallower poised, "Haven’t we already figured out their progress isn’t smooth? That’s enough! We should probably go back and get the cha ready to start."
Unexpectedly, Krisia found Su Mo agreeable this ti and said to him.
"Alright, then tonight I will have a good drink with you as a farewell."
"Sure!"
Su Mo responded readily.
The two then raised their glasses and drank the strong liquor in one gulp.
After a drink, Su Mo felt like his whole stomach was on fire. He looked at the glass in surprise.
"This liquor is strong."
"It’s okay."
Krisia replied calmly and then poured another full glass for Su Mo.
"Uh, let’s drink slowly."
Su Mo looked at the large glass of brandy, feeling a bit intimidated, was this girl this fierce?
"I’ll finish mine first as a sign of respect."
Krisia said just before lifting the glass and downing it in one go.
Su Mo felt even more uneasy; he couldn’t help but take a deep breath. Was she deliberately using alcohol to deal with him?
"Commander Su Mo, aren’t you going to drink?"
Krisia looked at Su Mo and urged.
"Drink."
Su Mo gritted his teeth and drank it down.
...
In the early morning.
The western side, 100 kiloters from the camp base.
Here stands a giant observation base.
At the center of this base stands a high-advanced observation tower over 200 ters tall, the top of the observation tower is shaped like a disc.
At this mont, the base center has entered a state of martial law.
One can see advanced chas poised in defense positions, while a large number of fixed weapons are being set up.
On top of the observation tower, the commanding center has been temporarily set up.
Kyarat stood on the lookout with his hands behind his back.
At this ti, the elevator door opened, and Krisia walked in and said to Kyarat.
"Brother."
"Is it resolved?"
"Resolved."
Krisia responded simply.
"Good, then you go ahead and prepare."
Kyarat instructed calmly.
"Okay."
Krisia said, then turned and left.
At this mont, a voluptuous woman with green hair, red lips, and light purple eyes walked up to Kyarat and said.
"Your Highness, the deploynts on both sides have been completed. All experts are ready, weapons are in semi-activated states, and Lord Reoter is personally overseeing the range."
"Well done, Malina."
Kyarat replied calmly.
"But Lord Kyarat, I’m a bit puzzled, is it really okay for us to carry out the explosion? Will it truly draw that Monster out? Won’t this damage the existing passages?"
"Do you think I want to do this? The underground tunnel is complex and unfathomable below. Moreover, the entrance is only 100 ters wide. Ordinary chas can go down, but with IV or V generation chas, it would be inconvenient; it’s tough to turn around in narrow passages. If we continue searching with conventional thods, who knows how long it’ll take. This explosion is just a trial; if it lures the Monster out, great, if not, it might help expose the surface and expand the entrance area."
Kyarat said with flickering eyes.
"Understood."
Malina replied with a smile.
Ti ticked away, and as Kyarat looked at the tir, less than five minutes remained until the explosion.
By now, the soldiers of the Immortal Empire were all on high alert.
It’s not just the ground weapons and chas in a state of alert, but even the hovering ships and patrolling Interstellar Fighters were on high notice.
Kyarat used the optical device to gaze at the explosion site 500 kiloters away,
the dark mass of troops also prepared.
In front of their defensive area, one by one, giant drill machines created massive openings.
Those dark entrances led straight downward.
...
Finally, the tir hit zero.
Kyarat waved his hand and issued the order.
"Detonate!"
"Yes!"
The subordinates promptly conveyed the order.
A few seconds later, at the explosion site, Reoter received the detonation command and shouted loudly.
"Detonate!"
