At the bottom of the Earth Cave, there were piles of monster bones, along with several soldiers wearing chanical armor.
It looked like this was a feeding ground for the monsters.
At this mont, Su Mo’s Bio-Armor·Heavenly Punishnt displayed several alerts.
"Warning: Exposed to intense radiation!"
"Warning: Bio-Armor protection operating!"
...
Su Mo clearly felt an uncomfortable sensation as the green fluorescent light shone on his body.
The bodies of the soldiers wearing chanical armor in the pit were clearly from the Immortal Empire, likely collapse survivors who escaped the cave-in but couldn’t withstand the radiation.
The Swallower, the creator, spoke in a low voice.
"Super Radiation Stone, don’t stay here too long, this thing will damage gene sequences, regular chanical armor can’t withstand it, choose an exit and leave."
"Hmm, it feels like this underground is more dangerous than expected."
Su Mo replied with so nervousness, then leaped down and headed toward a larger exit.
Since it was unclear which path was the correct one, Su Mo simply chose the relatively larger exits whenever he encountered a fork.
As he entered the new passage and walked not far in.
The V-type Bio-Armor·Heavenly Punishnt displayed another alert.
"Detected toxic gas, also corrosive."
...
Su Mo’s mouth twitched continuously, the passage below was dangerously over-exaggerated.
But what made Su Mo feel most uneasy wasn’t this; he kept his calm and spoke to the Swallower, the creator.
"Xiao Shi, have you noticed sothing?"
"What is it?"
The Swallower, the creator, replied.
"We haven’t encountered a single monster after walking for so many days."
"That’s right, is there a problem?"
"Don’t you think it’s strange? Normally running into multiple monsters is quite normal. But not encountering a single monster is an issue, don’t you think this situation is similar to what happened at the Watcher’s base?"
Su Mo asked the Swallower, the creator.
After hearing Su Mo’s words, the Swallower, the creator, fell into silence, not saying a word for a long ti.
This made Su Mo even more uneasy, so he spoke again.
"Say sothing?"
"If what you said is true, then there may really be a terrifying monster lurking here. And do you rember the intelligence that little girl provided back then?"
The Swallower, the creator, replied.
"The Pala Fruit is an SSS-level restricted drug variety, only three have been produced in history, all from extrely dangerous areas of Ceres. It’s said that the area where this fruit is found has VI-type organism activity."
Su Mo’s eyelids twitched, imdiately recalling what Luo Yue had said.
"That’s right."
"Should we temporarily put aside the search for the Pala Fruit and find the buried cha first?"
Su Mo felt a bit anxious. Without the cha, encountering a VI-type monster would render Xiao Shi ineffective.
"Do you think it makes a difference? We’re just blindly wandering around like a cat in chaos."
The Swallower, the creator, was also deeply troubled.
"It makes a difference. Don’t you have a part of you in the cha? Can’t you confirm its location?"
Su Mo asked curiously.
"Only if we get very close. Don’t forget this is Ceres, and we’re deeply buried."
The Swallower, the creator, replied lowly.
"Alright."
Su Mo felt helpless too.
...
After more than ten hours, as Su Mo walked until he was sowhat dazed,
suddenly he saw a graceful figure appear in the passage ahead, his eyes lit up, and he felt a surge of joy.
"Isn’t that Krisia?"
Krisia, wearing a purple Bio-Armor, was leaning against the earthy wall, intently listening to sothing.
Su Mo happily approached, reaching out to pat Krisia on the shoulder, startling her.
Krisia turned her head to look at Su Mo.
Su Mo looked at Krisia, half-joking, half-complaining, and said, "I only ate a few als, did you have to bury alive for that?"
Krisia’s expression changed abruptly, she directly covered Su Mo’s mouth and leaned against the wall.
"Hey, hey, what are you doing?"
Su Mo asked in confusion.
"Shut up!"
Krisia said quietly to Su Mo.
Su Mo imdiately shut his mouth. At that mont, he suddenly felt an irregular vibration from overhead, as well as the sound of massive creatures gliding past.
Thud, thud~
...
Su Mo couldn’t help but tense up.
The Swallower, the creator, was also alerted and warned Su Mo in a low voice.
"An unidentified creature just passed overhead, do not speak."
"What kind of creature?"
"Unclear."
...
As ti ticked by, an hour later, the slithering vibrations finally began to die down.
Krisia released Su Mo’s hand, and quickly pursued the direction where the sound disappeared, moving with exceptional agility and speed.
"Hey, hey~ Wait for ."
Su Mo hurriedly chased after her.
Krisia stopped after a short chase to allow Su Mo to catch up, her typically calm face showing rare irritation.
"What do you really want? Why are you following all the ti?"
"Uh, if I don’t follow you, who should I follow?"
Su Mo replied with a wry smile.
"Okay, stop pretending like we’re not on bad terms. You’re not really here for , why are you here?"
"Well, tell what you’re doing here first? Quid pro quo?"
Su Mo replied with a grin.
Krisia furrowed her brows and said sternly to Su Mo, "I’m afraid you’ll hear but not live."
"How could that be?"
Su Mo replied with a smile.
"Why not? Let be honest with you, if you weren’t so slick and followed my lead, your head would no longer be attached."
Krisia rudely told Su Mo.
Upon hearing this, Su Mo’s smile stiffened, cursing inwardly.
"Turns out my first instinct was right, those Immortal Empire guys had murderous intentions the mont they saw ."
Although inwardly complaining, Su Mo still responded with a cheerful deanor to Krisia.
"How about we both confess?"
"Alright, you first, what are you doing here?"
Krisia asked, staring at Su Mo.
"I’m here to find the Pala Fruit."
Su Mo confessed directly to Krisia.
Upon hearing Su Mo’s words, Krisia was stunned for a mont before responding, "Who told you there’s Pala Fruit here? This is the lair of the VI-type Lord-level alien species, Earth Dragon, Antotan."
"That’s none of your concern. What are you doing here?"
"We’re here to capture the VI-type Lord-level alien species, Antotan."
Krisia straightforwardly replied.
Su Mo laughed out loud upon hearing Krisia’s words.
"Haha, you guys want to capture the VI-type Lord-level alien species, Antotan? I admire your courage, but aren’t you overestimating yourselves? You think you can pull it off with just the collapse you caused? Isn’t that like digging your own grave first?"
The more Su Mo spoke, the more he found it amusing, almost bursting into laughter.
