169: Chapter 169 Deciphering (First Update) 169: Chapter 169 Deciphering (First Update) Su Mo checked the password lock, and without surprise, it was in a locked state.
He was a bit disappointed, not knowing whether the deceased player was just one step short of opening it before dying.
However, Su Mo didn’t give up so easily.
He squatted down to carefully inspect the body of the dead player.
Minutes later, Su Mo held three items in his hand: a finely-crafted chanical box, a portable DCX-03-type jamming box, and a cube device, ECS-07 military-grade password decryptor.
The decryptor seed quite advanced, but Su Mo could confirm that it was of no use to this particular password lock.
Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a third item, an old secret key record book.
Moreover, Su Mo could almost confirm one thing: the player must have been trying to decipher this password lock but failed to succeed before his death.
Su Mo flipped through the old key record book, his brows furrowing tighter and tighter; it contained tens of thousands of keys.
With so many keys, who knew which one was the correct one.
Besides, Su Mo was quite curious as to where this player acquired it from.
Of course, curiosity aside, Su Mo got to work quickly.
First, he gently wiped the dust off the password box.
Then he carefully observed the wear on each button and quickly identified five numbers.
If there were no surprises, the six-digit password would be composed of these five numbers.
Su Mo leafed through the key book to see which passwords were made up entirely of these five numbers.
He found at least a hundred of them.
And among them, many combinations were marked with an “×”, presumably tried by the deceased player but without success.
If he guessed right, this password lock could accept three entries.
If all three were incorrect, it would automatically lock itself.
The problem was that he simply didn’t have the ti to test them slowly.
So Su Mo closed the key record book and then held it upright.
He carefully observed which page had the largest gap and flipped to that page to check how worn the paper was.
Soon, Su Mo confird that this page wore down a tad more than the rest.
Without surprises, this page would have the highest frequency of usage, and the password should be on this page.
Su Mo checked carefully and found ten groups that matched the combination rule of those five numbers.
He carefully scrutinized these ten groups, decisively eliminating the two with the simplest sequences.
Generally, secret keys are set to be tricky to pronounce and wouldn’t be so straightforward.
That left him with eight sets, and he had three chances to try; this ant he had over a one-third probability of winning the gamble.
Thinking this, Su Mo didn’t hesitate any longer.
Following the secret key in the book, he entered the most difficult to rember first set of numbers, but after entering them, the display screen showed a secret key error.
Su Mo kept his composure and continued with the second set in sequence.

The mont he entered it, the tal gate began to rise, revealing the impressively vast arsenal to Su Mo’s eyes.
To the left, hundreds of heavy tanks were neatly parked in their respective squares.
To the right, rows upon rows of First Generation Green Shield chas were arrayed in an orderly fashion.
Further ahead, there were rocket launcher vehicles, various models of battle aircraft, helicopters, heavy artillery, and rows of missile racks.
Su Mo approached the arsenal, feeling his blood boil with excitent.
Usually unable to even see a weapon, he couldn’t believe there were so many here; but how was he supposed to take so many pieces of equipnt?
However, as Su Mo walked forward a bit, he realized that he had still underestimated the arsenal.
The number of weapons left here was alarmingly high, but among these neatly arranged weapons, a lot of marked squares on the ground were empty, indicating that at least about half of the weapons had been used, otherwise there would have been even more.
Su Mo continued walking forward, and when he reached the front row, his breathing suddenly beca rapid.
He saw dozens of squares under the walls on both sides, most of which were empty, but there were still four squares holding black Heavy tal chas.
All four of them were Second Generation chas!
As for the other empty squares, unless there was an unexpected turn of events, they should originally have also held Second Generation chas.
But this was not even the best part.
In front of this batch of Second Generation chas, there was a fifteen-ter tall Heavy Armor cha, with shiny black armor emitting a powerful presence.
It held a dark Chain Gun, whose end was locked to the cha’s right arm.
A 50MM caliber foldable stealth beam cannon was mounted on its right shoulder, and a triangular auxiliary gliding wing and assistive jet device stood erect on its back.
Next to that Heavy cha, there was a tal platform.
Below the platform, four sets of black Type-II chanical Armors were placed.
Above the platform, there lay a cha manual, a dark chanical key, and a set of glossy black Heavy Second Generation chanical Armor, which was quite distinct from the four sets below.
On the neatly folded chanical Armor on top, a black sword with a tallic sheath was placed, its sheath covered in intricate hieroglyphic patterns, and the hilt engraved with two characters.
“Ink Frost!”
Su Mo picked up the Ink Frost Sword and drew it.
A clear sound echoed as the sharp blade unsheathed.
The entire sword was 80CM long, sharp enough to cut through hair!
The blade was so bright, it clearly reflected his own face.
“A fine weapon!”
Su Mo couldn’t help but praise.
He hesitated no further and took off the Second Generation chanical Armor he was wearing, and put on this set of glossy black chanical Armor.

The chanical Armor he put on automatically adjusted its size to fully cover Su Mo’s body, and at the sa ti, a virtual imaging interface appeared in front of Su Mo’s eyes.
Tip: Second Generation Power Armor· Modified · (Advanced Version) · Black Steel activation in progress.
Tip: Activation successful, identity automatically bound.
Tip: Energy reserve 100%.
Su Mo swung his fist through the air and kicked out, producing a whooshing sound.
With just a light test, he could clearly feel that this Power Armor’s performance was stronger, at least three tis that of the original suit he was wearing.
Su Mo took a deep breath and continued looking at the other items on the tal platform.
At this mont, his eyebrows twitched slightly, and he saw a special glass bottle on top of it.
Inside the glass bottle, a bright red fla burned, appearing like a tal ball with red liquid flowing within, similar to a heart, as well as a yellowed notebook.
“The Spark!”
Su Mo recognized it imdiately.
Without a mont’s hesitation, he walked over, picked up the bottle containing the Spark, and stored it away.
This was a valuable item indeed.
It was known in the ga that each Spark was now at an astronomical price, but money wasn’t the issue.
Because the output was too low, and the demand was suffocating.
At that mont, Su Mo’s attention fell on the yellowed notebook.
Information in this world was exceedingly scarce, it felt as if it had been deliberately erased, as though covering up so unsightly secrets.
Thus, it wouldn’t be easy to co by such materials.
If Su Mo wasn’t mistaken, this notebook probably only contained so essential information and weapons stored in this warehouse.
