“Hello?”
Lin Zinuo replied with a hint of tiredness.

A mont later, Su Mo arrived at the lobby of Building C2 and saw Lin Zinuo dealing with the paynt procedures.
He walked over and asked,
“Have you finished?”
“Yes.”
Lin Zinuo had just finished with the procedures.
“How’s your father holding up?”
Su Mo thought for a bit before asking.
“Not too bad, just the old problems flaring up.
But this ti it’s a bit more troubleso; he’ll probably need to be hospitalized for a while.”
Lin Zinuo said helplessly to Su Mo.
Su Mo hesitated for a while, then took out the cash check from his pocket and handed it to Lin Zinuo.
“You take this and use it.”
“Why are you lending money again?”
Lin Zinuo looked up in surprise at Su Mo.
“Didn’t you take out a loan to buy a car?

I can’t use it anyway, so you might as well take it.”

At that mont, Lin Zinuo’s phone began to ring.
Lin Zinuo answered it.
“Hello, Mom, I’ve finished here and I’m coming up right now.”
After speaking, Lin Zinuo hung up the phone.
“I’m going up.
Do you want to co with ?”
Lin Zinuo turned her head and asked Su Mo.
“I’ll wait here a bit; Sister Xue also ca.
She went to buy so fruit.

“Mom, I’m done.”
Lin Zinuo jogged over.

I haven’t even given you the bank card, and you ran down already,” said Lin Zinuo’s mother, Lin He, taking out a bank card and chastising her.

I have money now, I can earn it.”

Lin He looked at Lin Zinuo with imnse surprise and disbelief.
“Mom, never mind that, you go in first.”
Lin Zinuo urged Lin He to go inside.
Left with no choice and unable to persuade her daughter otherwise, Lin He turned and walked toward the ward.
Lin Zinuo lingered in place, feeling a headache coming on.
How was she going to fool her father?

Just then, Su Mo and Qian Chengxue arrived, each of them carrying a fruit basket.
“Zinuo.”
Qian Chengxue greeted Lin Zinuo.
“Sister Xue!
It’s great that you ca, why did you bring sothing?”
“Just a little gift, where is the ward?”
Qian Chengxue asked.
Lin Zinuo suddenly felt awkward, a bit caught between a rock and a hard place.
She couldn’t possibly tell Qian Chengxue that they couldn’t go in.
It would be too embarrassing to say that out loud, and it was at that mont when Lin Zinuo’s gaze unintentionally fell on Su Mo.
An idea flashed through her mind, why not temporarily use Su Mo as her scapegoat, to take the heat off for a while!

Soon, the three of them pushed open the door and entered the ward.

At this, Su Mo was montarily baffled and confused.
Lin Zinuo quickly kicked Su Mo with her heel.
After snapping back to reality, although still very perplexed, he complied and stepped forward.
Lin Wei observed Su Mo closely, his brow furrowed.
This young man looked a bit too striking, which wasn’t necessarily a good thing.

Lin Zinuo almost tripped over herself, awkwardly saying to her mother, “Mom, what are you on about?”
