414: Chapter 403 Rules_2 414: Chapter 403 Rules_2 “I am King of Yanas, imikas, here upon invitation,”

the leading sovereign spoke.

Goli said with a smile, “King of Yanas, please wait a mont.”

Imdiately after, two more groups of people arrived, also of humanoid civilizations, but their clothing styles were sowhat different.

The group on the left had scaly skin and organ structures similar to gills on both sides of the jaw, with their hands resembling frog’s paws.

The group on the right was relatively thin and short, with large pupils in their eyes, dark and rough skin, and a dusting of gray all over their bodies.

Each group introduced themselves—the people with gill-like organs were from the Heck Free Country, a civilization that lived underwater.

The other group claid they were from the Falais Clan, a civilization born underground.

Long Ming furrowed his brows; his expression changed constantly as he observed the competing civilizations.

Just then, towering figures appeared, striding forward were brawny individuals with coarse features, their bodies embedded with tallic armor, their eyes fierce and filled with an intimidating presence, each towering above the crowd.

Their leader, with a gaze as wild as a beast’s, was formidable to behold.

Nick and the others watched, mouths agape, astonished by their towering height.

“What are you looking at, shorty!”

One of the hulking figures passing by addressed Nick, his eyes filled with disdain,

Nick was amazed to understand him.

He was certain it wasn’t their language, yet the stranger’s tone was incredibly haughty, nearly suffocating him.

And this was the overlord from the Galmotos civilization.

Gradually, the remaining civilizations made their entrances, all humanoid beings, so with bodies covered in an abundance of hair resembling wild n, and others extrely beautiful, with skin as tender as can be and eyes like sapphires.

Also present were those who were somber, cloaked in capes, their hands adorned with bone jewelry, waists girded with black beam guns, regarding everyone around as if they were enemies.

Long Ming took a deep breath, having sowhat figured out that all participants were humanoid civilizations.

There seed to be an issue at so point in their civilization’s progress, such as those whose planets were subrged by oceans, resulting in evolution towards marine life.

Or perhaps climate anomalies caused adaptations, leading to new evolution.

In layman’s terms, more like the sa species, divergent evolution in different environnts leading to various endpoints.

Goli glanced briefly, and seeing that all thirteen civilizations had assembled, snapped her fingers.

“Alright, we’re off!”

The next second, the tal grid tiles beneath everyone’s feet levitated, acting like individual small flying machines, carrying everyone into the sky.

Along the way, everyone could see towering steel structures,

and they could just make out so figures, but nobody could confirm whether these were people or other creatures.

At the sa ti, miniature aircraft occasionally whizzed by at incredible speeds, seemingly about to collide but never actually doing so.

A mont later, amidst astonishnt, everyone landed in a colossal circular plaza.

At the center of the plaza stood a cuboid tal monunt, upon which sat a dazzling throne at the top.

A girl with long silver hair, dressed in a long blue gown, her deanor icy and aristocratic, and wearing crystal high heels, sat on the throne, supporting her chin with one hand, exuding the aura of a queen.

Everyone recognized the girl at a glance – NPC Ilovais, who had initiated the opening of the Star Ring.

Ilovais rose slowly, her proud gaze looking down upon the crowd.

“Welco to the Negative Universe.

I am honored to tell you that you, thirteen civilizations from different dinsions, have stood out from hundreds of contestants to earn the qualifications for the Heavenly Cup,”

Upon hearing Ilovais’s words, everyone took a sharp breath.

Her words implied that hundreds of civilizations had lost their qualifications, had no chance to stand here, and were dood to extinction.

At this mont, even King of Yanas, imikas, lowered his haughty head and asked, “Respected Lady Ilovais, what must we do to win the Heavenly Cup and ensure the continuation of our civilization?”

Representatives of the other civilizations asked with reverence as well.

Ilovais replied indifferently.

“Winning the Heavenly Cup is simple, survive,”

Upon hearing this, representatives of all civilizations looked alertly at the representatives of other civilizations around them.

Long Ming felt a sinking feeling in his heart.

Could it be a brutal fight for survival?

“You don’t need to speculate wildly, when I say survive, I don’t an you have to annihilate each other,”

Ilovais stated, expressionless.

Hearing this, representatives from all civilizations breathed a sigh of relief.

But Ilovais’s next words chilled everyone to the bone.

“The survival I speak of is even more brutal than if you were to slaughter one another,”

With a wave of her hand, Ilovais expanded a special virtual hologram,

a vast depiction of a star system erged, showing Star Ring City at its center, with thirteen twinkling dots on orbit around it, representing the thirteen chosen civilizations’ planets.

However, looking beyond, the outer part of the star map was completely red, a fallen zone.

“Everything outside your orbit is Monster-occupied territory, ho to the Titan Clan, Insect Race, Aliens…

and over tens of thousands of races.

They will stop at nothing to tear you apart.

Your objective is simply to survive.”
